Why not three PSU?

Since you already have 860 and 750, I would add another 750 or 860 and get a better night sleep knowing that you have plenty of headroom and better PSU efficiency.

You can sync them all using something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072K8F6GZ

Why do people use stuff like this? It's very simple to use them all together, you simply need to short the green pin to any black pin in the ATX connector and the PSU will be on and providing power. Here is a very simple guide: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-power-up-an-ATX-Power-Supply-without-a-PC/

It even shows using a switch, but I just prefer using the power switch on the back of the PSU. I have been doing this since 2014 with no issues ever.

yeah ive done that and it ended up burning out the psu, horrible idea to do this not to mention YOU CANT TURN IT ON WITH THE OTHER PSU's, only an moron that wont spend 20 dollars to get an add2psu would short the wires like you do

1060's tdp is 120W.
I would say you would be safe if you have 1600W or more since you probably will limit the power draw to 80% anyway.

can u please suggest what brand ?
and i want to buy 2 PSU's not one ..
the guys from the store suggested me :
2x Corsair RM850x 850W PSU 80+ Gold Modular

what do u think ?

I think corsair is fine. I prefer EVGA tho.
EVGA G2 comes with a test plug for 24pin which you don't have to purchase an extra dual psu adapter.
I'm pretty sure two 850Ws are enough and even have rooms left.

As far as I understand, stuff like this (a relay or a transistor based switch) will provide an additional protection in some failure cases. For example, if it fails, it will always fail in an off state while a simple green wire connection will leave the slave PSU(s) at the mercy of the primary PSU. Also, a relay based sync switch may provide complete galvanic isolation between PSUs if its desired.

And finally, yes, in most cases connecting green wires between three PSUs will work, but it requires some wiring or soldering skills and a bit of luck.

any of their server psu's with breakout boards have been great to me.

Hands down this would by my recommendation too.  A server PSU with breakout boards is the way to go.  Get the 2400w model and you'll have room for growth even.  The catch is you'll also need PCI 6-pin powered risers instead of the typical sata/molex versions.  This would let you downsize your mobo PSU too, since ALL card power comes from the server supply.

My favorite perk of these supplies is cable length, with multiple GPUs placement becomes much easier.

How do you guys deal with the 240V requirement? I see they have 120V variants but they're priced around regular ATX PSU's.

Is converting to use 240V the only way or can some sort of PDU or adapter be used to run it on a regular house circuit?

Hey man.

You said you arena after a 2 psu stup. So for 12 gpus i would recommend 2x evga gq 1000watt.
Each havet 10x 8 pins (6+2).

Easy setup for you with mostly 6 pin risers.  Cool

Two corsair rmx 1000w will be enought for sure. With only one power suply will be very hard to have enought cables
for all that cards, not imposible but very hard to find especialy now when is hard to find any good quality power suply.
I also plan to make one rig with maybe even 13x 1060 but am little frustrated with new card euiped with hyunix
memory and max speed about 18m in eth Sad

any of their server psu's with breakout boards have been great to me.
I cannot recommend them. They took over 1 month to ship my PSU and cables to me. I did, however, get the 2400w Deltas and they are tanks. If you can source them from other locations, I would say go that route.

You must have been waiting during their surge in orders. I luckily ordered a ton of equipment just before that delay hit.. They went out of stock months ago on all their products and just recently have been in stock 100%. They made customers aware of delays. in stock now and wouldn't worry about delays at this point, I love every single 1200w HP DPS psu they've sent me.

They've got decent customer support as well.

i think you have few choose only, lepa 1700 or superflow 2000 watt, and also the corsair 1500watt, but for just 8 1060, a 1000 can do it, they don't consume much, if you are gong to use 1070 int he future, it's better to have a 1500watt

WTF ?!?!
did you read the post Huh

i said i need 2 PSU !! TWO ! not a big one ! but TWO ( 2 ) ...
I WILL HAVE 12 GPU's 1060 6GB ! not 8 1060's not 1070's !
