Hi thanks for the response. How exactly do I
just need to spend one of the inputs to that transaction to make it invalid and then you can be sure it will never confirm.

Is that a feature in Electrum? Or is that a feature any wallet can do?

Some other wallets will let you do it as well but as I use Electrum it is the one I can explain how to do it with.

Goto View > Show Coins

From the newly displayed Coins tab select the input(s) you want to use with right click and 'spend". Then fill in the normal transaction details, you can send it to yourself using another address in the same wallet if you want. Obviously, use a high enough fee for it to confirm.
Also before you start on Electrum go to Tools > Propose Replace-By-Fee and select Always, then you never end up in the situation you are now.

Can you please explain? I have waited for my transaction to be dropped from the network, bit it does not seem that is the case. Is there a time frame that this will happen under?

Timeout settings for dropping transactions are individually configurable for every node on the network. Many nodes will have already dropped it. Any node can rebroadcast a transaction if it wants to so it is not predictable or even guaranteed it will totally disappear, but it usually does at some point.

Thanks for the explanation. I will try and see what I can do with Mycellium. In the event I cannot do it, then someday I will export the private keys to electrum and do what you suggested.

At least my BTC is not lost, it will be rececovered someday and that is a relief. I really do not want to export my Mycellium as I use certain addresses as a receiving end and would have to update with new BTC addresses.

Thanks again for all appreciate it.

I used Mycellium wallet to send. There is an option to Bump Fee (CPFP or Child pays for parent) but when I do try to do that it says UNABLE TO BUILD TRANSACtION

My wallet is stuck with this transaction in a Sending mode. I deleted from the Mycellium but once updated it comes back on a perpetual sending.

Have no idea what to do as I do not want to spend a a lot of BTC to move this!

I wonder if I paid the $10 fee if it will move...Not sure really as most accelerator sites are scams.

I'm not particularly familiar with Mycelium but in any case, in a situation like this I would try and use another wallet. If you imported the private keys or seed phrase into Electrum, for example, you may find that their servers have dropped the transaction and you would be able to send a new one. Either send the same transaction with a higher fee or you just need to spend one of the inputs to that transaction to make it invalid and then you can be sure it will never confirm.

Im paying for the confirmation of this transaction too:

fbb2a8a4dfaaefd5a442213f9aed50f5705c6dc4ea3e0715fbe98ab2e821cd24

your tx inputs is already double spending in another tx https://blockchain.info/tx/f003c7c1932446075464c8f0e74cf5c9bb5e3a202a200b2b82645d8333d6c6a2

The tx can't be accelerated or confirmed.

What happens to an unconfirmed btc transaction? Does it stay in limbo forever?

Or does it somehow cancel itself out over a period of time?

Not exactly but most nodes will drop the transaction after a certain period of time. This timeout is configurable on each node.

Can the sender delete the transaction?

No.

Probably not, so the only way to get it to confirm is to pay a ridiculous fee to a miner to get it confirmed.

Your only other options are to rebroadcast the transaction with a higher fee. Then when the new transaction gets confirmed the old one will be dropped as it is invalid (would be a double-spend). Or if there is a change output use child pays for parent.

I have one that has been in limbo for over a month  26e4e5fd277ff1296ae9c62422243c525951d67987587acdb6b915def9cd3fd0

The paid acceleration services are asking for the same amount of btc I sent. So what is the point to pay for it if it will cost me double!

What wallet did you use to send it?

Hi. i can accelerate your tx 3e21e5e07c82aa223ad002460c3b18e860c87e67078392e6f0132a4109253cff and confirm on BTCC pool but fee for it is 0.03 btc ~ 452$ at the time of write.

Make calculation and decide if worth.

In future better use a higher fee (over 300 sat/B) when send bitcoin from many addresses to get confirm without acceleration.

if you want i can accelerate on btcc pool only. fee is 0.03 btc. pay first only

viabtc want me to pay 1000 usd Cheesy wtf
It's because the TX size is too large and that's why it costs $1,000 for viabtc to confirm it. As your TX size is 7124 bytes, that's totally a big one. I still wish your TX to get confirmed soon, don't click any website that isn't familiar to you just like this one.

Get yourself in a block super fast !

http://www.bitcoin-transaction-accelerator.website/

I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do , I use it all the time now.

Pay a super cheap fee on your transaction and then use this service , works out cheaper overall to send BTC.

Warning to the OP. Most of these transaction accelerator sites are scams. Don't pay for your transactions to be accelerated unless you can verify that the service is real.
