I did file a scam accusation in the end..  Sad

Please get in touch with me if there is any new info regarding its evidence that he actually got spooked for a reason or if fbi got thier hands on any info from servers.

Personally, if he came back now and gave back coins and opened a new tumbler, i would use his service..

There hasn't been any new information, it was obvious from the get go that he used this excuse as an opportunity to exit-scam. FBI or whichever policing organization he had claimed to have been spooked by would have taken credit to brag about taking down such a service by now if they had taken any part in shutting it down.

Best action has been done but I suggest to move on for that matter although it's quite depressing to lose money for this things but we should know the risk and learn from it. But if he came back and pays then it's good but if not better think that you lose so that you will not depressed from those incident.

please send the link of the new thread because bitcoin blender. i still hope that i will get my coins back
Hairypoints never opened another thread.

Many other people have already opened scam accusations on Bitblender, and nothing came of it. Bitblender is gone. He hasn't logged in since the 31st of May, and i deem it extremely unlikely that he will ever come back, much less so that he's actually going to pay anyone back, or is capable of doing so.

Your money is 99.9% lost, and there's nothing you can do anymore.

How can anyone help me when no other users have recovered coins? Cant seem to move this thread to scam accusation, you know if thats possible?

You never know. There might be some OG who had some sort of dealings with them. Scam accusations tend to attract established members and many are good at playing detective. The threads there are on this are quite old now so perhaps some minds might be jogged. What do you have to lose?

Start a new thread and see what happens.

So is the only way to get the bitcoins back, the hope that the admin will go online with bitblender again? I really need my coins back Undecided

Pretty much, sadly.

It's possible others have reported them for theft so perhaps keep an eye on threads about it and there might be an eventual result. It's not at all likely though.

This may seem like a cliched thing to ask but have you tried opening a scam accusation thread? Or even moving this entire thing there? There are people on this forum that never leave that section and would be happy to help you for free if you provided them with enough evidence.

Hell! some would even dig the entire thing on their own just for the kick of it.

Guys like that, say Vod for example, would never lurk here in the Service section.

There's another scam accusation thread linked to in this thread but it might be worth opening another or OP adding to that one. Hard to tell whether the owner took Bestmixer's death as a convenient excuse to scam or whether he was properly spooked. If he was spooked then I see no reason why they couldn't honour withdrawals over a longer period even if they were in hiding so it's probably the former.

Getting spooked is no excuse for not processing withdrawals, or in this case mixes.

A few days ago when the Livecoin fiasco was unfolding it became evident that the exchange was operating in a way where it was (and still probably is) impossible to sue them or get any real person's data behind the exchange. Does anyone know if it is the same issue with Bitblender? Or any of the mixing services for that matter?

Is there any possible recourse for guys that are pinched for bigger amounts than OP's case?

can i start as a newbie a new thread for the bitblender accusation? i would do everything to get my coins back, this is very important for me and i think for a lot more people. but i'm from germany and i have no idea how this whole forum works.

You can indeed. That linked thread is getting on for a weeks old so perhaps a new one will jog others into action.

Here's the etiquette for starting a scam accusation thread - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-report-format-use-it-to-make-scam-reports-properly-260073

Having a hard time to accept that nobody in here has knowledge or contact bitblender admin. He did show a sign of good intentions when he anounced that ppl should take out btc so i think he is a good guy. Do the right thing admin and ppl will trust you fully just like situations with binance or bitfinex. A comeback is golden for your trustlevel.

No one's going to know who they are. The only means of contacting them will be the routes anyone can unearth publicly.

It's alleged here that funds have been sent to Binance though I don't know how they figured that out considering it's supposed to be a mixer https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51848029

Since they voluntarily closed down rather than were busted like Bestmixer we can hope they'll pop up some day when they feel the heat is off but they're incentivised to never make themselves known again.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

Yeah, that sign of good intentions isn't good at all, the admin give its users only 2 days to withdraw their funds. And after that, the admin cannot be seen in forum, and never response all through. So, really unfortunate, and sorry for your lost.

It has been shut down last month, will you share when did you make this transaction?
