TRX, NEO, ETH, XVG are good altcoins for this year 
I looking for an altcoin will give me good profits in long term like more than a year.I think XRP is best to invest now.

Some time before I would tell you about Ethereum but at the moment there are a lot of interesting and reliable altcoins in which you can invest: Snovio, Bitshares, Stellar, Bitcoin Cash, Monero. All these coins will grow inevitable, IMHO.

Newbie always invest in coin that are trending! I will not argue ripple here. I think the best coin that may serve your objective is Bitcoin! Bitcoin might appreciate 5 to 10 times in 2018. Ethereum too is another quality altcoin that will increase in value this year!

I think XRP is a good choice for the future. Also I think it is better if you consider about ethereum and litecoin.
Long-term investment, then consider investing in Cardano, Electroneum, EthLend, Powerledger, Ethereum and MicroMoney. You should also consider ICOs like Trade.io, KWHCoin and a few others. Do your research and invest wisely. Good luck.

It seems to me that it is worth investing in the Ripple. But also look to some another coins like wings, waves, neo.
Actually XRP is also very good and my suggestion is still altcoin many potentially good and expensive coins.
ie ETH, waves, Monero, IOTA, LTC.

XRP is making huge move towards BTC,maybe its a centralized coin but the fact that the hype is doing well and most of holders are making profits thats positive,but i will consider alts with good products too like ADA. Any other suggestions guys

These all have great team and big room to development in future
I think that investing in xrp is not the best idea now. Wait for the correction of its price. Look at how much the price of xrp has risen in the last month. Even I advise you to buy waves and stratis-these altcoins should bring good profits in a few years.
