I'm a 19-year-old boy living in South Korea and now btt, doge, shiba inu, etc.. have skyrocketed in just a few hours on our country exchange 'upbit'. A little fomo is coming. I can't believe it's gone up more than a months I've invested in bitcoin. I personally don't want to invest in other coins, as I think bitcoin is superior.
What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin? And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
Investing in alts does make us huge profits even higher than BTC that's because alts are more volatile than BTC but risky too. But when investing in BTC we have to be less afraid, because profit is more assured in it. BTC is considered a safer investment than alts. I won't ask you why you want to become a BTC enthusiast while you are making a profit in alts too. Are you?

Well, if you want to stay in BTC and then invest the highest part of your portfolio into BTC then your mind will remain toward BTC all the time, and you will be visiting the exchange again and again just to see what price BTC has now. Besides this, try to learn what BTC is proposing and what makes it the king of alts.

And if you want to do DCA in BTC then DCA is a strategy, you simply have to segregate funds from your earnings, and should invest them into BTC after an equal interval of time. The following time is not restricted, nor is the funds to invest in.

Bitcoin is not for short-term investment plans. You can't make a fortune with this overnight. You need patience, dedication, strong will and a mindset to not give up. You will be profitable eventually. Even if you miss the opportunity once, you will get one more again. There are endless opportunities with Bitcoin investment. For this reason only, there are no perfect times to enter Bitcoin investment. And its history speaks for itself.

And about the DCA strategy. Keep it the same and don't change anything. If you feel like you should invest more doing DCA, create a separate plan for that. It will help you to calculate the profits or losses more easily without making it complicated. Keep them separate so they don't mess up your investment plan.

Why would you need to leave btc for altcoins?

You can do more than one thing at a time. Just know that there is a much higher chance that an altcoin goes to 0, while that's not likely to happen with Bitcoin, especially now that it is getting intertwined with the traditional system of finance and investments.

Keeping up with industry news and technological advancements can help you make informed decisions about your Bitcoin investment. It's also important to be wary of market hype and avoid making emotional decisions based on FOMO. DCA invests a fixed amount of money in Bitcoin at regular intervals regardless of price. This strategy allows investors to buy more bitcoins when the price is low and less when the price is high, averaging the overall cost of their investment over time. Protecting your Bitcoin holdings is essential for long-term success. Using a secure wallet and practicing good security practices can help protect your investment from potential threats and theft. By taking a proactive approach to security, you can ensure that your Bitcoins will remain safe and secure for years to come.

What advice can be given and even you know everything like dca and bitcoin are one of the best investments as you have said above. Fomo will continue to exist in the crypto journey and especially when it comes to bitcoin specifically and what makes you believe in bitcoin then do everything you can to get involved. When you approach DCA as an investment step, what must be done is a level of consistency in carrying out and allocating capital every period on a regular basis.

Create a stable amount and be consistent in buying every period you want and maintain this method until you have the opportunity to buy large amounts when you have a good opportunity. Bitcoin is simple and only you can increase your ownership using certain methods and strategies because other people's suggestions will work when you are willing to run and have the opportunity.

I don't have much to say to people asking me if they can start DCA right now, I think it's a sign that people are only interested in Bitcoin when the price is going up, like what have you been doing since 15,000+? There was enough time to have accumulate Bitcoin, but now I don't even know what to say.

Few friends of my friends are now calling me, asking if they can start buying now, I just told them the same, I don't know, buying now is far more complicated than buying at 15k or 17k, just do you, make your own decision, anyone who buys from this price will still make profit when Bitcoin hit a new all time high.

But I think it's better to wait for some correction, 48k have some strong resistance, and I believe Bitcoin will have to go down from there and start going side ways from 48k to 37k before a break out.

I am so excited with many youth people still 19 years old have invested in cryptocurrency, but seems OP less interested investment make shits coins as his priority. Start investing with bitcoin when bull run moment actually is not recommended, better you have planning buy or invest with bitcoin have sharing bad news and sell it after have good news. Many investors or trader have the wrong way when investing in bitcoin, they will make investing when bitcoin price have up but afraid for buying back when bitcoin drop.

You need to stay with bitcoin but wait awhile when bitcoin have get little correction, I doubt upcoming several weeks later bitcoin without get yet any correction and have chance to buy with lower price. Be calm and patience when investing money in bitcoin without hurry after seeing bull run make us excited to invest as much possible in bitcoin.

I do agree that you shouldn't leave Bitcoin, but you can invest in other altcoin without leaving Bitcoin, you can spare small amount of your money to altcoins, diversification of you portfolio is always good. And with the current bullish market investing in altcoin is less risky, you just need to know when you need to exit the market. But the same as any investment, only invest that you can afford to lose.

You have the option to invest in Bitcoin on a monthly or weekly basis, depending on your preference. If you are not interested in investing in other cryptocurrencies, it is best to avoid monitoring their prices, as this may lead you to purchase them impulsively. Suppose you are planning on investing in other cryptocurrencies. In that case, it's important to choose a project with a promising future rather than one that experiences a temporary surge due to popular promotions.

We know that when Bitcoin is starting to bull run, most of the altcoins are starting to skyrocket as well, but we know that the difference between the two is huge. From your post OP, it seems like you are aware that Bitcoin is much superior to altcoins even from its current price you can still manage to invest using DCA methods. I have invested in altcoins as well which gave me profits, but the difference is that altcoins have a potential only for the short-term unlike to Bitcoin, imagine that the bull run is just starting and the end of the year so holding for the long-term investment is better which is Bitcoin. Just focused on the long-term cause it's really tempting to join the altcoins bull run as well, but Bitcoin would secure your funds in the long run.

Your preference for Bitcoin despite the development of altcoins shows a keen intellect. Bitcoin's track record shows its durability and tenacity in the turbulent crypto environment. Today, DCA is a concept, not just a method. DCA has significance for someone at the start of their financial path. Bitcoin may soon soar. DCA helps you stay focused on Bitcoin's long-term rise rather than short-term swings of alts.

Maintain Bitcoin. Accept DCA. This advise provides a path to smart and long-term cryptocurrency investment. Altcoins? Though tempting, Bitcoin and DCA's proven route has endured.

Look for the reasons that make you invest in altcoins, and you will find that most of them are related to quick profits that will not happen. Therefore, it is better to stick to Bitcoin, especially since you are not just betting on profit, but rather you are betting that the loss will be less than the loss in altcoins, and the profit will be reasonable.
Just think that bitcoin is designed for long term investment that makes a high promising return. While altcoins are just recommended for short term as most of them are for quick profits, wherein majority do not realize those quick profits. If you can analyze it smartly, then you will know that bitcoin makes a wise investment.

If you decide to leave bitcoin, probably you saw some lapses that some of us are not aware. But frankly speaking, leaving bitcoin could make you regret your decision, as altcoins are not actually even worth keeping.

This is a clear sign that you are a little late. The price can probably go up, but are you ready to take the extra risk? Remember the well-known rule: act against the market. If everyone is buying, then sell.

I can't believe it's gone up more than a months I've invested in bitcoin.
And did you start to regret it? A couple of months is too short a time to sum up the results. Let's see what you say about your bitcoin investment after a longer period of time. I'm sure you'll thank yourself for taking this step.

I personally don't want to invest in other coins, as I think bitcoin is superior.
Why do something you don't want to do? Reduce your sense of greed and be content with the bitcoin.

What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin?
Think positively. Know how to finish what you start. You didn't invest in bitcoin for a couple of months and expected to get a good profit, right? Well, bring your plans to the end.

And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
If you believe in this, then cast aside doubts and wait for it.

You cannot stop these meme coins from seeing them skyrocket, but rest assured they will never stay up all the time. Just like with bitcoin, it has it's own time to rise and drop at some point. But knowing bitcoin is the king of crypto, that fact guarantees that bitcoin is the most secured and profitable coin in the crypto market. Bitcoin gains the trust of the majority, so you should prove it to yourself as well.

However, I would not advise you to stick with bitcoin but do your own diligence to research. That way, at least you will decide on your own based on what you have learned about bitcoin.

Everyone is entitled to what works best for them and here I see you have picked Bitcoin which isn't a bad choice considering its the king of crypto , though it wouldn't be a bad idea to try other coins too as ROI is usually greater than that of BTC but requires finding the hidden gem in Altcoins.

What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin?
If you want to invest and stay in Bitcoin for a long-term then avoid looking at chart's at any given opportunity as you could prematurely sell because of fear of a crash and price might lose momentum somewhere along the way which wouldn't help in your bitcoin journey.

And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
Not sure if you have something to do that brings in money, if you do you need to be committing a small percentage of your money towards your DCA investment which won't be easy be will reward you in the future for the commitment.

Now you just need to feel how good it is to benefit from the investment you make with Bitcoin.
The increase will make you even more eager to continue holding until the target price is reached.

About what mindset you should have, it depends on how you live it.
If you're already convinced, you just need to add some Bitcoin holdings.

Doing DCA is the best strategy, prepare your reserve fund and do DCA so that you will get cheaper prices later.
Make sure you do it regularly, determine the time range you need to do DCA.

In moments like this, when the crypto market appears being volatile, those altcoins can speedily increase and some may not move as much as expected, but the same thing to note about them is the quickness is coming down the very way the rise up fast, so if they are falling, they will go to an extent of you loosing hope in them, the better thing to do is to have your bitcoin with you and also hold it without considering what's going on with other crypto markets.

You have a mature mindset on crypto assets as a whole, Investing in Bitcoin is much safer compared to Altcoins. You have outlined some of the suggestions yourself in Op, if you think Bitcoin will reach its highest price, then why should you think about other investments besides Bitcoin. You can use the DCA strategy depending on the money you hold, if you have a daily income, you can buy Bitcoin every day according to the amount of money you have and likewise if you have an income every week or every month.

I'm not exactly sure what did you mean by not leaving Bitcoin, do you want to sell your Bitcoin due to recent pump or you're want to buy shitcoins because their price increase higher than Bitcoin? if you want to sell your Bitcoin, then do it, you can buy it again when the price is lower than the price you sell. If you want to buy shitcoins, then do it, you're either learn a lesson or become rich overnight.

If you are more confident in bitcoin then continue your plan to keep doing the DCA strategy whether it's doing it every week, every two weeks or once a month depending on your ability when you have money to spend on bitcoin, I think it's better once a week so that the accumulation of bitcoin will grow faster than what is expected but even that must see how your cash flow is so that it does not become an obstacle in the future.

Altcoin is always tantalizing when the price of the tide is rising but you should not be complacent because it could be a trap and they throw it into the market, this kind of thing often happens especially if you are pessimistic about altcoins then never invest it is much better if you doubt it.
