What coin do you mine, what video card do you have?
What software do you use?
What OS do you have? What's your hash rate?
We cannot guess these parameters.
Describe your computer configuration
I'm mining ethereum with 4x gtx1660super
I'm using Nbminer software
Running on windows 10 OS and getting 31MH per gpu
Spec of my PC is core i3 2nd gen with 4gig RAM stick
Close all applications and browsers.
With an open browser, the AMD Athlon X2 processor is loaded by 30-70%. If my browser is closed, it turns out 4-20%.
Did you download the miner from the developers github or from a third-party site?

Task manager will reveal the problem but I used to get cpu on load when Windows10 is updating OS in the background, if you are using WiFi hotspot make sure you set a metered connection in wifi settings this will stop windows 10 from downloading updates

When you open Windows Task Manager, which process is occupying the highest percentage of processing?
It is probably some task of windows ... finding out which one is easier to find the solution.

Two things are involved here, it's either your PC is upgrading in the background without you knowing or your PC is infected with those trojan miners that use people's available resources on computer to mine without the owner knowing

This isn't strange to me because I'm 100% sure that your Windows OS is downloading updates and will be installing the updates soon that's why the CPU is on load, you have to stop the windows OsS update, use google to find solution

Something strange is going on with my PC or mining software, I'm currently mining on VIABTC Pool with GPUs only and I noticed that my CPU is underload of 74%, why is that when I'm only using GPUs? Core i3, what's up with this?
