Hey,

d:\bitcoin\phoenix>phoenix.exe -u http://********:*******:1111/ -k phatk2 DEVICE=0 VECTORS BFI_INI AGGRESSION=4

Try BFI_INT not BFI_INI in the commandline, maybe that is your problem.

Good eye Smiley.

Of course when having a problem it's usually best to start with the minimum of command line options and then work your way up after you get basic functionality established.

What do I do....

I'm going slowly insane.

What do you do?

First post your problem in the thread for the miner your trying to use.

Second try a supported mining program.

Ufasoft is always a good and easy miner for beginners.  After you get that working then try CGMiner.
Good Luck,
Sam

I second this.  cgminer is the bees knees, but takes some time to set up right.

Hi,

I posted this in the New section:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/help-please-111914

However, I'll explain my problem anyway.

I have tried using GuiMiner and Phoenix.exe.

At first I got failed to apply BFI_INI patch to KERNAL. does your card support BFI_INI.

So I decided to check if my card supported it.

My card does support it : - ATI 7950 (Vapor X edition flashed with 1000/1450 Sapphire Bios).

I checked GPU- Z, openCL supported. I then ran LUXmark 2.0 - scored 1900.

I can not get it to run. Here is my CMD script for Phoenix.exe (its run as admin).

d:\bitcoin\phoenix>phoenix.exe -u http://********:*******:1111/ -k phatk2 DEVICE=0 VECTORS BFI_INI AGGRESSION=4

gives:-

Wrong platform or more than one OpenCL platform found, use PLATFORM=ID to sell one of the following

  • AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
  • [1] Intel OpenCL

    ok, then :-

    PLATFORM=0

FATAL kernel error: failed to apply BFI_INT patch to kernel! Is BFI_INI supported on this hardware?

Same for PLATFORM=1 at end of cmd.

    What do I do....

    I'm going slowly insane.

    cmd path is correct.

    (start/D d:\bitcoin\phoenix).

    System:

    i5 2500k
ATI 7950 Sapphire Vapor-X flashed to Sapphire 7970 1000/1450 w/o extra shaders (done for stable voltage)

    Drivers:

    CCC 12.8

    AMD-APP-SDK-v2.7-Windows-64

    intel_sdk_for_ocl_applications_2012_x64

I presume its some kind of OpenCL error.
