yup... that fee is way to low:

https://coinb.in/#fees

At this moment, to have a decent chance of your tx ending up in one of the next couple of blocks, a fee of 9768 is advised, your transaction has a fee of 501 satoshi's.

Will it eventually confirm? Probably... But you'll have to keep rebroadcasting the raw, signed transaction and hope the original sender doesn't doublespend the input of this transaction in a new transaction with a much higher fee...

What can you do yourself? Well, you can either pay a big mining pool to include your transaction, or perform a CPFP... In a CPFP you use the unconfirmed unspent output funding your address in a new transaction with a much higher fee... If a miner wants to add the very high fee of this new transaction to the coinbase reward of the block he's trying to solve, he also has to add the low fee transaction whose output was used in the high fee transaction...

Thanks for the detailed response. What does rebroadcasting the signed transaction mean?
Rebroadcasting means you should increase the transactions fees and resend the transaction again and look for members who can help you accelerate the transactions for it to get confirmation on the blockchain. Avoid using low fee when next you send transactions for miner's to be able to hash your block on time.

True but for this he should manually rebuild the transaction and charge different fees, and if he do that the transaction will confirm as a doublespend, so, maybe isn't the best option if he is using the btc to pay a product or a service.

right the cost is too low, I often experience it for days.
But just relax as long as the address you are sending is correct, your coins will be fine and will arrive at your destination, just waiting a little

Yes, there's a possibility that the transaction gets reversed when it doesn't get confirmed for a long time. I don't know how long but when I experienced it for the first time it lasted for a couple of days before it disappeared on the explorer.
This happened to me too. One of my transactions got reversed thankfully since I thought that this was going to be a major problem of some sort. Default fee is the optimal solution to these problems which is why it is not recommended to lower the fees.

Instead, increasing the fees is encouraged if you wish to get your TX confirmed quickly.

These paid transition accelerators do not work and you are only paying someone to do the exact same work as the frendly poster mentioned above.
Save you money and do it yourself and let this be a lesson in BITCOIN txt fees.
The legit paid accelerators work but the cheap accelerators like the one posted by adriano could be a scam.

In that case, what happens when a transaction is not re-boradcasted to a network? Does the transaction get reversed ?
I have read somewhere that when a transaction with very low fees is boradcasted it stays there for a long time and then is revered to the user's address.

Also, why is it necessary to re=broadcast the transaction only in hex format? Why can't a transaction be re-broadcasted as it is?

Truth. Also a lesson not only about the fees but also about not falling in scams.

Make sure to double-check or triple-check before putting your money somewhere or you might see yourself losing some. I consider that, the price for the lesson.

I’m waiting to receive this transaction but it has no confirmed for almost 3 days now. Can anyone tell me why? I’m guessing the fee is too low? Will it ever confirm?

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/bca080b1a54a9898e0d75d6402464374e3c7365695cb48067725fe45db56bb60

Your tx has very low fee. To accelerate it on pool they ask 0.007 btc fee, but they ask to pay forward.

Maybe it not worth for you.

Your tx may confirm only if some pools mine it or if drops and exchange or sender send your bitcoin again if you not want to pay.

if you haven't been confirmed for a long time, indeed one of the causes is usually the cost that is too low, and I think it will be able to be confirmed but you need to be more patient.

The transaction is confirmed already and I do not think it is worth to pay that much to accelerate transaction while there are some free accelerator services. So OP kindly please this thread as your issue is solved already and grats that you received it eventually. Not really sure what you have done, whether you used viabtc or you just did nothing but at least you got it already.

Thanks for the detailed response. What does rebroadcasting the signed transaction mean?

Here's the raw transaction in hex format:
Code:
010000000001018fe98535907adfa51d1aed325e35b10d95c763b47c1afe24db75897b21531de201000000171600147a2e7c4dc861b09a433427fb89448fc8e0dc8625ffffffff02a1fae3010000000017a914940861d25bbcf28d376f29b1931318790e1aa63f87893c32f20100000017a91476e8b55e723f764a18f60844fe8bbffee03c164d8702483045022100ca918af5b29338d26db56aaec81a8564b5334e0bcf55b91bec3a34f77caab911022012fae0271b380d4c3e6b15576b8f5985f7f624af8f622961db7ef0e3f0dd24190121036c492ad7e625a58c5ea6b28319e4af12d9111d32d13fdb186ccba3f50cbb050200000000

Use google, or Vod's thread to search for free services that allow you to rebroadcast a bitcoin transaction (there are dozens of these services), copy the transaction above and rebroadcast it Smiley

The theory behind this action: if you create a transaction, it is broadcasted to the nodes in the network. Some of these nodes are owned by mining pool operators. The mining pool operator picks the highest fee transactions (in sat/byte) from the mempool of his node to fill the block he's trying to solve.
The default setting of a node is to remove unconfirmed transaction from it's mempool after x hours (my node is set to 10 days). So after these x hours, most mining nodes won't have your unconfirmed transaction in their mempool anymore... Unless you re-broadcast it to the network Wink
This theory also shows there is no need to rebroadcast to often... Once every 2-3 days should be sufficient
In that case, what happens when a transaction is not re-boradcasted to a network? Does the transaction get reversed ?

Try this pool.viabtc.com. It can accelerate your pending transaction.

No need to repeat what is being suggested previously. Look at reda's post, he gives the same recommendation earlier.

Next time don't go with such a low fee. Special now that there's a pump going on.

If you read at the post clearly, he is not the one who control the fee as he is receiving the transaction. So the sender who is responsible to give higher fee.
It seems that he is withdrawing from a bitcoin related site. If he is receiving from other person, he should ask/remind the sender to use appropriate fee.

LOL leave it buddy, what we can do with these people. They have to look at what they replying before responding in any thread.

That is why I recommended him to have the default fees in the every transaction to make smooth transactions.

The fee is too low for ViaBTC accelerator, at least for free option. I try to speed up the transaction with few free services, but it is questionable how functional they are. Best option is to just follow mocacinno advice, or to maybe try your luck with some users who offer such service. Just do not pay anything in advance.

That is precisely what happened. Someday it will when the price of the fee comes down.

I comment because i got one delay a lot due to that fact but it eventually passed through. If the price rises then that tends to happen, it's a risk while Bitcoin is not stable yet.

Fees is to low for the transaction. Always allow the payment to move with the default fees. Kindly use the any available bitcoin accelerator to move this money to the destination wallet.
If possible submit on viabtc accelerator and get it confirmed.

yup... that fee is way to low:

https://coinb.in/#fees
