You seem okay, just wait for the price to increase as you didn't buy ETH and LTC when it was at an all time high. But the best thing to do next time is to buy low and sell high. Just hang in there man. Good luck

Buy low and sell high , no one tell you when market is high and when market is low we need to judge the charts and we need to study where it dumps and where it jumps thats crypto

IF you purchased Bitcoin when price was 6000$ why you sold?

IF you are Holding ltc or any coin just hold the coin dont worry about losses it will end up with big income then you will make a real storey of income with your friends.

Remember :- Never sell your bitcoins at loss , only sell if you really need the money or you are investing in thing which will give you better results than bitcoins

Never sell Bitcoin at a loss, if you do, you will regret it on a long enough timeline. Just look at the people that sold at MtGox's peak in 2013, they felt like the biggest idiots in the world for 2 years, but look who is laughing now.

If you don't really need the money, let the position rest, be ready to hold at a loss for 1+ year.. eventually you will break even, and even end up with massive gains, as you can see.

Now, does this apply to altcoins? not really, no a single one I would feel confident holding at a loss for a long time.

With cryptocurrency, when a coin is rising, there is no way to tell if it will keep rising or it will start falling,
so the golden rule is always to buy low and sell high and don't be greedy.
Make 1% profit is always better than loosing your money.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are the safest coins to invest in, just hold and prices will rise sooner or later.

I entered in this world unlucky when it was at its peak. I already had like 0.16 btc back in the day when it was like 6000.
I bought since then 1 eth and 3 ltc and some xrp. In this d 3p i resist not panic selling and i did nothing apart from buy another eth and btc when it was at 600 and 12000. Then the dip continue and some of my friend sell to buy again when it was lower. Me since i was at a loss with alt coin i didnt do anything. Now i am still at loss with eth like 100 € and ltc like 200 € (coz i bought 3 at 290€) but its better than before. I am looking for advice. Did i behave ok? How to get better? Thanks

This should be in trading discussion but it sounds like you did real good, you stuck to the basics and bought when the price was low. Now wait it out and sell when we return to a high. Nice work.

Buy low and sell high. Those are the basics. If you bought too high just hold onto it until you make a profit. Then you can sell. It's purely based on speculation. Takes a lot of research to really get good at it.

The best way is to start from small amount of money. Maybe its better to start from altcoins, they are more risky, but at the same time more profitable. So invest just a little and have a fun with trading. It'll help you to understand if you like it or not.

The standard response to this may be that a person has to spend years and lose a lot of money, to gain experience in trading, before they gain the skills and experience to consistently make money.

Trading is like many professions. It takes time to learn. A person starts at the bottom and works their way up the food chain. I've heard some claim that a person should expect to learn $10,000+ before they learn to consistently make money trading on the stock market.

It might be possible to avoid losses by trading in small amounts to gain experience. Taking $20 and trying to turn that $20 into $200 by trading on exchanges or in markets could be a good approach. Starting out as a beginner in attempting to trade large sums of money probably isn't a good idea. There are some people who manage to turn a good profit in their 1st trade. But consistently is probably the most important thing when it comes to trading and that usually takes time to learn.

I dont understand why you are asking for "help" you did a very nice job in there, in fact you bought at some levels in where some people were not able to do it.
You bought bitcoin at $6000, what is wrong with that? You are already on a profit of 200%, and if you sold at 20000$ you could be a in profit of more than 300%.

I think you made the right decision.

Just wait a little longer. You have nothing to lose as long as you don't need this money immediately. Selling now would mean that you are losing money. Nonesense! Wait until it bounces bakc, it surely will.

It's hard to tell you how you can get better because it is all based on speculation.
We can't really know if it's going up or down, but the advice I can give you that you shouldn't invest more then you can afford to lose.

Always keep in your mind that altcoin trading is very risky and sometimes act like a casino, and if you are not sure what you are doing then you should stay outside.

Consider it betting money, if you invest at XRP without any reason, that's the same as putting your money at a sports game.

Many people panic about the bitcoin and eth price dump in the market now. You are also one among them. Kindly don't consider the present dump and it is because of the hard fork in the price chart.
Today alone we find the 2000 USD and more in the price chart. This makes every people panic about the dump.
So of the people says this is the perfect correction on btc. It will show the growth in the chart.

If you're not entirely sure whether an investment will hold up, exit immediately once you've reached some kind of hefty profit since you don't know what you're dealing with. Also learned the hard way from experience, and paid quite a sum for it when I was a newb on trading altcoins. I thought that a pump would hold for longer and even though I was already in profit of about 50%, I still waited for the time until it reached the peak then bam, everything is falling apart around me. Right now you are left holding the bag if you don't want to sell to a loss, and that is better instead of losing money in the process but that's just me.
