1st study support and resistance
2nd study indicators use for oversold and overbought
3rd study candlestick pattern
4th study charting pattern analysis
5th other indicators

use this exchange for charting  https://bittrex.com/home/markets
use this game it's simulated to real life last time I have tried it https://coinmarketgame.com/

after your comfortable in trading in the game, try to put small amount your willing to lose on real-life trading for practice. do not ever listen to people about which one is to trade/buy there is a lot of pumps and dump schemes. never trade based on your emotion(FOMO/FUD) only strategy. use tight stop loss on a very risky trade.
many people loss trade because they follow people advice, you may listen to other advice but only as a support but not a confirmation to buy/sell it.
if you can predict(base on your TA) BTC will drop sell it, A lot of people don't have the guts to sell their BTC's fearing they might be left behind if BTC pumps( I sold mine at 17k bought again at 10k)

I am very new to the crypto and trading world, by no means do I think I'll be quitting the day job anytime soon haha, just interests me and wanT to learn how to trade it and understand the market just looking for advise
Thanks
The best way i can recommend you is learning basic knowledge about market: price, Volume, Cap, what influences the price, and if you love it, you can read more about how to view and analyze a "Chart".
Then, most important, you need read about a coin or a platform to identify a good or a trash coin  Grin

I do not think that the principles of trading in stock markets will work in cryptotrading. It's pretty good to read some books about trading, but overall, I think that here we need a completely different approach.

However, if you can stay at the top 10 coins in the coinmarketcap it's less risk than trading with new coins.

Last months this rule was not the best one. Hope the rule soon apply again  Sad

People want o be expert on trading platform but its not a easy matter. You get lost your all some for one mistake so its really hard to learn and become expert. First know about trading and than you create an account on exchanger and try to demo trading and follow to this forum and bitcoin market becuas ecrypto market depends on bitcoin

I trade a gdax (if you have coinbase).
Limit trades are free there.
But only ETH, LTC, BTC, BCH

I use twitter to listen after where the coins move to.

**

Then I buy other coins and hope they go up. I have only earned good money on EtherDelta so far. People sale airdrops, bonus coins etc there. If you find a good coin your can earn good buying and sale at 2x-3x. Can take week before someone take your sale order.
