LOL. How are you haters handling the recent turn of events? MPEx is thriving today while everything you thought was important is burning.

Or know what you're talking about is another lesson.

Cross posted from the Active Mining thread.

I have given fair warning to the Troll on this forum who has been instigating a hate campaign for too long now.

The information & proof has now all been given to the buyer to do with as they please (legal action) - (see below), now with their consent I have the approval to post the identity of this Troll.

I am posting in this thread due to believing the most damage has been caused here.

This Troll (Crumbs) along with all their historic accounts and current accounts is none other than everybody's not so favorite Bitcoin eccentric.....

Mircea Popescu

This is also the same for the other high profile accounts pankkake and MPOE-PR.

Which are all controlled by Mircea Popescu.

The proof of this has been sent to the person who paid for my services which cannot and will not be shown on here, due to the backlash this will bring including personal information for him and other users who have trusted him.

Due to the real identity of these troll accounts belonging to Mircea Popescu and how close he believes himself to be to the higher echelons of Bitcoin including the Mods/Admins of this forum, i don't believe this post to last long.

The only advice I can give is do not trust any of your data or personal information with this person as it is not safe.

I have been paid by a member of this board and high value shareholder within the NeoBee security.
I was approached by them through an 'advert' I had placed within a site on the 'DarkWeb'.

With their permission I am broaching this subject on this thread, as through my research into certain identities I have seen first hand the damage they have caused this online community.
They may be posting the full researched information on the NeoBee thread of this user(s) if this does not come to an immediate stop.

Below I am giving a not very 'cryptic' hint to them that they will know in the hope that this stops their online disruption before it gets anymore out of hand.

This user(s) goes by multiple names however I will refer to them only as Crumbs as that is the username they are more famously known for (bar their 'real' online and public persona)

First name contains a c
Last name contains a p

I will not respond to any messages from anybody including this user and anybody else wishing to know their identity.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
Fact. The owner of MPEX has attempted to sell NSFW photos of herself.

Where can I get these / how much?

You really want to see this naked?

I like her toes. I will now go to my grave knowing that I had the pleasure to jacking off to a Goddess' toes.

In re. the black eye, I swore it was just makeup, but now I want to kill the bastard who gave it to her... or suck his toes.

you are one of the most ignored here. Posting fake quotes might be one of the many reasons why. Roll Eyes

The quote is closer to the original than the current form you edited your post to, scammer.

Ignored since day one.

Born May 11, 2013, dead by September 2013, finally buried December 22nd.

This, for the record, is the fate of all you fuckwits who imagine ignoring me does anything. You die. Alone.

It makes the world a better place  Wink

Hey guise, this is how I stole a bunch of BTC from a bunch of idiots just like you in 2012. Hopefully they're all gone and maybe if I manage to get you to ignore everyone who knows about it I can steal a bunch more in 2014.

her pimp gave her a black eye

bet it was a John.

Dah!  You've re-awakened my recent interest in Ice Cube's lyrics:

Quote
You need a nigga with money, so you get a Dopeman
Juice that fool for as much as you can
She likes his car and he gets with her
Got a black-eye 'coz the Dopeman hit her

Let that slide and you pay it no mind
Find that he's slapping you, all the time!
But that's okay 'coz he's so rich
And you ain't nothin' but a Dopeman's bitch

Do what he say and you keep your mouth shut
Poppin' that trash might get you fucked up!
You'll sit and cry if the Dopeman strikes you
He don't give a fuck, he got 2 just like you

Fitting for this situation?  Hard to know.  Personally I doubt it.  The story of a rich Bulgarian with a fairly sharp and acid-tongued female compadre strains credulity.

Most (all?) of the porn is gone from the MPEX domain.

There's still this thread, but it hasn't been bumped in a while.

Thank you for your information ciuciu; I've added some of it to the OP.

Now that we have a good argument on this side, I'm waiting to hear some arguments from the pro-MPEX side.

To be fair the owner has a good bitcoin-otc reputation http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=mircea_popescu&sign=ANY&type=RECV

Also i cant find user "ciuciu" on the wot so I cant judge whether they are more or less trustworthy in this regard.

The MPOE-PR user does seem to be abrasive and attack GLBSE at any opportunity.

There has being times where bitcoin-qt fucks up and sends it with an improper fee, so it pretty much never gets confirmed.

Also, you mean if the bet is resolved when your TX isn't confirmed yet, right?

Yes.

The thing is, the way BitBet is set up once a bet is marked to close early this doesn't become effective until the blockchain watcher has seen one new block. It's not immediate.

Obviously qt might malfunction. The solution there is to use better Bitcoin clients.

Thanks for clearing that up

So what are "gracious donations to shareholders"? They are bets that are placed when the a bet was still open, but get's closed before your bet TX is confirmed by miners. So say you are about to bet 10 BTC on "Yes" for "North Korea will launch more missiles during May". If North Korea launches the missiles while you're sending the TX for the bet, BitBet.us will just keep the Bitcoins and not return them.

In other words they're bets made by people after the event, trying to suck some money out of the "poor suckers" who bet before them. Herp derp, so sad that they end up short.

I think the Bitcoin community could do without shady business like polimedia/mpex/bitbet/others we don't know about yet. If you think the same, spread the word. Other actions you can take is to contact nic.us and nic.co and let them know that their TLD domains are being used for possibly illegal activities. The .us domain names are also meant for entities residing in the US, so just mentioning this might be enough to bring the domains down. I already emailed the domain registrars, but more messages should not hurt.

You realise that every "exchange" in the Bitcoin world which is allowing the trading of securities/commodities is likely breaking a ton of laws in a number of jurisdictions.  The Securities sub-forum alone would keep regulators busy for a long time.   Just be aware that once regulators start looking into these kinds of services, the ones you like and support are just as likely to get caught in the net as the ones you don't like.
