Chris two possibilities from experience. 1: This is basic tech but did you make sure everything is plugged in correctly? 2: Do you have monitor plugged in master pci-e slot?

I ha ve a question I need to try and have answered by someone who knows more than I do.
I bought a 3 pci-e 8x mobo and three graphsc cards, but the computer can only recognize two.
Is the mobo broken?
