As much as there is good intent behind this post, I don't think there is really a point - BTC isn't at a point right now where it is ready for mass adoption, as hard as that might be for us to admit. The lightning network was a really good addition and made making microtransactions a lot more viable and affordable, but we still aren't ready so far.

As much as I love BTC and hold some to this day, but I prefer holding it as excess money, instead of keeping everything into an unstable source of money, I prefer fiat!

Still waiting for the day they start accepting bitcoin at my place. Why the hell authorities are mad for crypto? simply because it cuts down the tax and stuff?
Probably due to lack of demand, high TX fees and regulations.

I asked them to subtract 5% of my Net salary and to pay that into a Bitcoin address that I provided to them and they agreed. I would have converted 5% of my salary into Bitcoin myself and now they are doing it on my behalf. < I do not have to deposit Fiat and pay Bank fees on those transactions or the conversion fees at the exchange >  Grin

It might be a bit more difficult with other companies, if they do not have a Bitcoin friendly CEO.  Tongue  It will also help if you can influence the HR and Finance guys, because they execute the tasks to get the bitcoins into your Bitcoin address.  Grin

then you are already doing something illegal by just being here not to mention getting paid in bitcoin already, if you are really living in Bangladesh.
Yes, I do but I'm interested in bitcoin, not doing any illegal activity with that like money laundering (for which bitcoin is banned here), not paying for any illegal service. I have the right to adopt the technology.

You Indian doods can fuck them up, you out number them 1000000 to 1. You guys beat pewdiepie on numbers on youtube, t-series has the power to overthrow your government, hack that youtube channel.
I feel bad for you that you don't know Bangladesh  Cheesy
Bangladesh is an independent country, got freedom from Pakistan in 1971.
I think most people like sea beach, don't they?
CoxBazar sea beach is the longest in the world with 120 km length. I offer tourist guide, will accept BTC for you  Cheesy

There is trouble abrewing
why would i want to do that?
as much as i like bitcoin and use it in as many occasions as i can, but i still can not use bitcoin in my day to day expenses such as paying the bills and buying groceries

Then ask your grocery store to accept it.

and ignored, stop drinking, it makes you fucking stupid. I love dota, but yah booze yah looze, yah brain clearly.

how do you know i haven't already ask them multiple times?!
the fact is they don't accept bitcoin as payment and they don't have any plans for the foreseeable future.

the second point is still valid by the way, considering the high volatility of bitcoin.

And get jailed  Grin
In my local, any kind of activity related to BTC is illegal. Before 2014, there was no law about Bitcoin, but in 2014, Bangladesh Bank applied a rule and asked people not to do any activity related to bitcoin. For doing so, one may get jailed and/or a fine.

Damn sucks to live in NAZI 2.0 country brother.  Cry

as much as i like bitcoin and use it in as many occasions as i can, but i still can not use bitcoin in my day to day expenses such as paying the bills and buying groceries. getting paid in bitcoin (fully) means i would have to convert it to fiat (pay extra exchange fee) just to be able to spend it!

there is an additional factor that you should never invest more than you can afford to lose. going full bitcoin means i would be risking more than i am willing to.

i prefer keeping the balance of investing my excess fiat that i don't need in bitcoin.
