Nice movie grade terrorism in style. Israel and Mossad excels in conducting highly sophisticated attacks as such.
A study shows one of the two batteries on the device was replaced with identical looking explosive during shipping.
Israel is openly a terrorist state and I do still condemn terrorism. But the pager attack is way better on moral level than bombing civilians.

It is baffling how Israel could imagine this will help them.
This terrorist attack is carried out by United States not Israel since only US has this kind of capability and also has a history of carrying out this type of attack (in Iraq many years ago).

As for benefit, it is for an internal use otherwise it is not going to change anything on the ground. If you check the Hebrew media of the terrorist organization, they are selling this to the occupiers as a big win trying to cover up all their losses in Gaza and Northern border with Lebanon. The terrorists needed this specially after they were hit with a hypersonic missile: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5500581

Not sure if it is misreporting or not but I read about a second attack involving hand held radios. Hard to tell if this is the same pager attack just picked up by a news outlet with some language barriers or if a new attack just happened hours ago. The story I just saw did report them as walkie talkie like radios and not pagers. Maybe this attack isn’t done yet?

It is a continuation of the attack.

If this kind of attack had occurred during heavy ground fighting it might have benefited Israel, but the timing is not beneficial to Israel.

Very possible this is more British antics, and the Brits know Israelis will stumble blindly to take  credit for anything that follows the 'all powerful mossad' delusion.

Also reminiscent of pre oct7 when Israelis were focused on a few 'hostile' tents in the north, only to get blindsided from the south. So maybe North Africa will heat up now and Egypt start to turn its guns East.

.................
This is not "Hezbollah pagers" exploding. This is a wide variety of civilian electronic devices that have been blowing up. It includes:
1. Pagers https://www.talkimg.com/image/gH8ya
2. Laptops (with Lithium-ion battery)
3. Smart phones (specifically iPhones) https://www.talkimg.com/image/gHKKo
4. Radios used by police department, emergency services, etc. https://www.talkimg.com/image/gHO71
5. Time attendance device https://www.talkimg.com/image/gHpHT
6. Even electric bikes https://www.talkimg.com/image/gHDIl
7. Solar panels

Wow.

It is baffling how Israel could imagine this will help them.

That's why the question "Is it a false flag". There is not any obvious scenario where this benefits Israel.

However it does strengthen the future Arab/Muslim catharsis the UK is trying to bring about after Israel is gone.

Psyop video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8FDPU-tDBU

Israel has only a few months left.

Then around 2015 several Israelis began selling intrusive spyware.

And many countries bought it. Some even used used this "Pegasus" software to spy on their political opponents.

There have been reports that the pagers that exploded were part of a batch of newly-purchased devices from a Taiwanese manufacturer. The manufacturing company, in turn, is reported to have said that this batch of devices had been made by a European distributor.

Nobody wants to take the blame Cheesy We didn't make these, it was some Europeans!

1) Yeah, and Israelis involved in spyware murders in Mexico https://www.theguardian.com/news/2021/jul/18/revealed-murdered-journalist-number-selected-mexico-nso-client-cecilio-pineda-birto and elsewhere need to be held accountable.

But it looks like somebody approached Israelis to get them to start spyware businesses, just so they could be exposed, taking heat off the 'five eyes' from Snowden leaks.

Why so heavy in Latin America? The U.S. / UK has been desperately fighting indigenous interests in Latin America for decades. Whether anti drug, anti terror, anti communist, the targets are always indigenous, never white. Why would Israel walk into that swamp except under pressure from U.S./UK.

2) Egypt is fully on board. They are waiting for the right moment, probably caused by something in Libya.

3) Even an ounce of the powder in firecrackers can cause great damage, not a high military explosive. Any explosive produces more oxygen than it needs, so the power is related to how compacted it is. Just like with a shaped charge you can put a cone under explosive and weight on the other side and it will create damage out of proportion.

4) In twenty years the truth will come out that the brits who largely run mossad arranged it, and then Israelis though it made them look slick so they took the credit.

This is the precise reason why an organisation like Hezbollah had been using these instruments.
It is worth knowing that the Resistance didn't start fighting the technologically superior (when it comes to communication and monitoring) Israeli terrorists yesterday. They've been fighting them for over 40 years now. They know the risks involved in using any kind of electronic devices. This is exactly why they've been installing land lines across southern Lebanon, a separated and isolated network that is what they use for their communication. It is not possible to hack into that or use it as a weapon like this.

This is also why from the 4000 injuries only a handful are a member of the Resistance aka Hezbollah and the rest are all civilians.

Your title is wrong as well.

We cannot determine for now if it is an attempt by warmongers to destabilise the region for selfish interest....

One of the problems is that Sky News, which often is used by the British government to push false narratives, was the first to say that there was proof Israel was behind it, quoting anonymous sources. Even before any Israelis had spoken publicly.

What makes it hard to find the truth is that most Israelis, when they heard the news thought "The rest of the world is so amazed by out exploits". The truth is that most of the rest of the world is thinking "How much longer do we have to pretend to respect those bandits?". Like all of the recent anti Israel projects, Israelis have been tricked into imagining it helps them.

this is unbelievable, something you see in a movie....

Pagers exploding. I'm confused! I regard a pager as an archaic messaging device
which belongs in the same museum as the Fax machine.

I understand them to be a small device with a small screen with a small  battery,
how can it explode?

This scenario is definitely smelly and has a smell of Israel off it for sure.

"Because they only receive messages over radio frequencies, pagers cannot be traced or tracked, just like the household radio cannot be tracked. A mobile phone’s location can be tracked because, apart from receiving signals, it also sends out signals. Any system meant to detect these signals can locate where they are coming from. This is the precise reason why an organisation like Hezbollah had been using these instruments. Another reason is the fact radio waves are more ubiquitous than mobile networks. They are available even in areas where mobile networks are not. Because of their limited functionality, pagers can sustain for months on a single battery, which is again a big advantage in remote areas where power supply is a problem. Also, in an army-like organisation that Hezbollah is, one-way instruction, addressed to the group as a whole, is often adequate communication."

Investigations are still ongoing, but from the current situation, all fingers point at Israel. It is possible they got help from her allies to carry out this terrorist act on civilians. However, it is obvious that there was an infiltration of the supply chain of these pagers. Israelis are the main suspects because they have threatened Lebanon and are well-known for such attacks.

We cannot determine for now if it is an attempt by warmongers to destabilise the region for selfish interest because such an operation will be kept secret. There has been no response from the government of Israel about the attack, claiming or denying their involvement. For now, the Lebanese government will have to do a thorough investigation because there might be more attacks since it seems that the enemy has infiltrated some key areas of Lebanon.

Thousands of Hezbollah people injured by exploding pagers

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/dozens-hezbollah-members-wounded-lebanon-when-pagers-exploded-sources-witnesses-2024-09-17/

Obviously another example of Israeli mischief.

Or was it?

In 2013 Snowden released documents showing that the 'five eyes" had access to virtually all electronic traffic.

Shortly afterwards examples of intrusive spying on EU parliamentarians was a scandal that painted Britain and the 'five eyes' in a bad light... then more scandals...and more...

Then around 2015 several Israelis began selling intrusive spyware.

What would motivate Israelis to jump head first into a scandal plagued field right after Snowden's leaks? Those Israeli companies have been burned again and again, painting Israelis as a modern gestapo, and taking the heat off Britain and the 'five eyes'.

Now, if you mention spyware or intrusive surveillance, most people think of Israel's various spyware firms started right after Snowden exposed the five eyes.

~Fast forward to today~

The pager attack is not going to help Israel. It will galvanize Lebanese against whoever they think did it.

Strangely, just one day ago a new series of sanctions was initiated against another Israeli led spyware.

https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/jy2581

Recently the UK appears to have engaged in a series of what look like false flags, Crocus being the most high profile.

Of course Israelis like the aura of being associated with complex spy tricks, so they will portray themselves as having done it, but did they?

Or is this another thinly covered British operation to bring the Israel war to a quicker end?
