Does anyone here know anything about setting up a Bitcoin and/or Litecoin mining rig? I'm anxious to get started but unfortunately have little knowledge of hardware, programming, etc. beyond making electronic music in OSX (and many moons ago using a programming language Csound for that purpose). Any simple tutorials one might point me to? Thanks.

Howdy folks...this might just be my first time posting to a forum since the days of AOLs "1,000 hours free" floppies. How're you all?

this whole btc stuff is such a slow take off specially if you cant invest any real money. Sad

Yep. I don't expect to get a ton of bitcoins from all the free sites out there, but that's okay. I never intended to make a ton of money off of it. I just like how fun it is. I mean seriously, a digital currency in which you can buy all sorts of stuff with. How cool is that. If you're looking for ways to make bitcoins, I suggest looking at people's sigs... I bet that they're advertising sites which give out some bitcoins. At least I know I am.
