Hi all, My name is Abu-Naim, I am new here.

I discovered this forum while conducting research for bitcoin-related advice before beginning any Bitcoin investment because I lack sufficient knowledge about bitcoin.
When I first discovered this forum, I saw so many topics in various sections in which I was trying to ask some questions, but there was no way, I only see previous and next topic up there until I registered an account, and now I see that I can reply and create my own topic as well, I hope I am fully welcomed.

Please direct me to the sections where I can get good recommendations on the types of wallets to use, as well as basic information about the wallet and how the Bitcoin wallet works.

Thank you all.
You can even find the different types of Bitcoin wallets in the sticky thread of this board itself which covered almost all types of wallets but for a beginner I highly recommend the Electrum wallet which is lightweight and available on both windows as well as smartphones so you can install the same wallet on both device and access it from anywhere you want.

I hope you take your words very seriously, the first time I stumble on this forum I was already into crypto but I never knew that Nakamoto himself is the owner, I just do some random research and quit the forum, it was years later that I decide to open an account on the forum and I was amused by the wide range of knowledge that one can gain on here, you are welcome to the forum OP.

If I have to advise you about the wallet I would say to go for Electrum wallet, this is the best wallet for Bitcoin, I do hope you are here for Bitcoin because so many newbies have a high interest in altcoins, it is better to start with Bitcoin first, very easy to understand, take your time to learn.

See the search box on the right top of your screen. That's the forum search engine, whatever question you got, just use the search engine as if you are to use the google search engine, many questions you have has be answered already on the forum.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Absolutely welcomed Naim...!!
You seee, ehhh, you were out in a bid to scout for a different, unfamiliar knowledge when you bumbed into the forum; let's assume you search them with phoenix browser, and the results were different patches of post from this same forum, could that have given you some firm picture in reality?? Could it be so convincing that it' actually becomes what you were in search for??? (Even though it might just have been a suggestion from the browser?)? Rhetorical anyways...
Well, this is any best place you could ever get your beginner's orientation on crypto matters... Which, you'll be able to ask questions -- from exactly the right angle in a couple of months... For now? Read the rules in here -- that's what you need to prolong your stay in here.

Some user have respond about what have to do and OP can read all exactly about which one recommended wallet using for investing in Bitcoin, first you need with exchange market account and every country have local exchange. But if you want withdrawing trough Binance P2P you have create Binance account and don't forget with verifying document ID.

For wallet recommended I think you can installed metamask on your computer and don't forget to save recovery phrase, I think metamask is easy use for beginner but after you have understand all about wallet kinds you can use hardware wallet. Don't forget to read about some topic about how to secure your address from malware and hacking cases, have many problem when you know about cryptocurrencies and wallet is most important thing for saving and withdrawing your assets.

Prioritize using the search option over looking for related boards. A board would have thousands of posts for you to filter through and what you are looking for specifically could be in a different board.

The search option allows you search on specific topics that you need information on and can go through the entire boards of the forum and give the most relevant answers to your query. Follow the guides above to learn to use the search option effectively.

If you do not find what you are looking for, create a thread to ask the community.

We've got stickies on this section and you probably haven't seen that one but it was already mentioned by princess.
And for other additional information about wallets that you may want to use. I'll give you a tip that always rely on good sources provided and given on this thread. Avoid downloading from unverified sources and since you've sid that you've landed on the forum as you're researching about it. I guess that you'll be fine because there have been fake wallets that are downloadables not just from their unverified websites but also they're scattered in google and app stores.

Since some threads about Bitcoin wallets have already been mentioned, you could also try Bitcointalk's search function on the top right.

It's not the best tool since it has some bugs and sometimes won't show the most related results. However, it's a good start if you want to dig into a new topic.

In addition that, the thread mentioned by @SatoPrincess is certainly helpful:

It's not on the forum but bitcoin.org has exactly what you're looking for - filters for specific usage and concise description of what to expect on your chosen wallet, see: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet. For tutorials and stuff, the wallet's website typically have some.

Welcome.
You should use Hardware wallet, I'm pretty sure you have heard about Hardware wallet. Try Trezor or Ledger. Make sure you learn about them properly before you use them to store your private keys.
If you can't afford a hardware wallet and want an easy UI wallet, bitcoin core or electrum is the best. Bitcoin Core will require you to sync with the blockchain history, a time consuming process. So, electrum would be the best fit. However, these are hot wallet. It's always good to use cold wallet.
