Check this URL to learn more about bitcoin https://learnmeabitcoin.com/
In the process of reading this I cam across this part in the wallet section:
"So in summary, a wallet does three main things:

Manages the addresses required for receiving bitcoins.
Manages the corresponding private keys for sending bitcoins.
Creates transactions and sends them in to the network."
What is managing in this concept? Does the wallet providers have access to the private keys and does it vary from wallet to wallet?

Hello everyone, I got introduced to this forum by a friend just a week ago. I've heard a lot about Bitcoin but never placed interest in it so since I'm here I hope to learn and contribute but I'll need your guidelines and resourceful materials in learning and contributing. Once again Thank you all for having me.
The only guidelines I can say is that don't post because you want people to notice your presence, but read the threads on this board, and use the search engine to look for whatever you want to know, because I believe that most questions that newbies ask, have already been asked in the past, so that you can get your answers from that thread.

I know it is hard to use the search engine as a newbie, but learn it and it will help you a lot here in the forum. The knowledge and information that you share here will make users notice you or not. Read more for now, amd Do Your Own Research.

Welcome, we'll never get tired of welcoming newbies to the community.

As you're telling about contributing, you can always start with what you know already and there's no limit on what you can share it as long as it's going to be helpful to the others as well.

And while you're contributing, don't always forget to include the resources that you have. Put always the link to your posts if they're copy paste, always quote them and don't forget to include where you've taken them as courtesy to the original author or source.

We are always open to welcoming new members. It's good to see you have a good friend who introduced you to the forum. Sometimes we call this forum a crypto academy, meaning everything related to cryptocurrency you can learn from here. Once upon a time, I was a newbie like you, and day by day, I developed myself and learned a lot of things. However, please try to respect forums by following the rules. I hope you can learn and contribute to the forum. Always try to use forum search when you need something to know. You may get your desired answers; otherwise, you may raise a new question.

As you have arrived on the forum, you will discover that the first board you saw was the Bitcoin discussion board, which is the section where you will find helpful content about Bitcoin. Although every board on this forum has very relevant information too, most are about Bitcoin. All the boards and child boards on this forum are very relevant, but to avoid spamming and shitposting, only make comments on topics that you have properly read and have a quality contribution to make on those boards. If you don't have a relevant reply to a topic, it's better that you just read and learn. @PX-Z has already pointed you to the forum rules and guidelines; if you play according to the rules, you will not have any issues here.

Welcome to the forum. First thing you should do is to get acquainted with the forum rules. Read the pinned threads in the Beginners & Help board, they will help you to understand the basics of the forum. There are lots of resourceful materials on Bitcoin that are available on the forum, they are easy to find btw. You only need to use the forum search engine or you can search manually using this format on google:
Code:
 Who is Satoshi bitcointalk.org
This Google query will give you all or most recent topics on the forum concerning Satoshi. You can do this for any question you may have about bitcoin or forum related matters.

Of course, you're welcome. Your friend who introduced you to this forum did you a great deal of good and hopefully you put your presence here to good use. Try as much as you can to read all the sticky posts and internalize the rules and regulations of this forum so you don't become a victim of that. Ignorance of a crime isn't an excuse. Familiarize yourself with the various sections you're likely to be posting in. Above all, don't ever plagiarise anyone's content. Give credit to those whose works you use.

Welcome to this amazing forum, on this forum you'll learn a lot of Bitcoin. Just follow the advice of PX-Z by reading the rules of the forum as that would be helpful for you. I would recommend you to read as many topics in Bitcoin discussion board as possible and also try to read some topics in speculation board.

Other than that I would recommend you to read topics in Meta board if you want to learn more about the forum, and finally I recommend you to be present on Beginners & Help board to learn basics about Bitcoin. The forum is more than enough for you to learn about Bitcoin, just read the posts carefully and ask questions when you don't understand something. Best of luck!
