I don't think it will affect her polls by much. These emails are nothing knew and they are getting old and people are expecting them. But I guess its good for Trumps odds.

Wikileaks is releasing a new round of those weird ass Podesta emails... I think Hillary is taking a great deal of damage with all those leaks, I think they are going to keep happening until election day. I wonder of wikileaks has a massive bomb for the 7th.

I'm not going bet in this election but this is the most exciting election. Both are not showing their strong points to ask people to vote for them instead both looking for each other bad points to expose and get more votes for them. It has become now very difficult to guess the winner in this election.

Yeah, I didn't notice and I promote the site myself. I think im going to use that one if I bet but we will see, im still going to wait more, the press is going insane and the info war is going to continue until the last very second. Both parties are going to try to ruin each other's reputation, anything can happen that would change the odds... I will wait as much as possible to make a bet.

Yes there is, there is currently an option for betting on Trump as the next president.

However, it is a bit weird as they offer an option on betting on the gender of the next president, but they only offer betting on the next president being female, not male. Either way, it should be the same, just bet directly on the candidates.

If you're trying to profit off the odds changes, then bet on whoever you think will be more likely to win - then once their odds increase (and hence the other candidate's payout increases) bet on the other. There's risks and rewards to betting on a single market vs. trying to hedge.

Hillary from 1.19 went up to 1.4-1.55
in a day or two this is so gonna reverse,you will see more and more "real" pollls that reflect the true numbers of voters (which is slightly scewed in Trumps favour ,I'd say 55% to 45%)

Presidential election now turned into very interesting way so that I am also agreed with you, at the moment it's really hard to predict who will be the next president there are so many scandals for both sides, I had my bet on Hillary for some times ago so will see what will be happen next.

This is really exciting. Every day you don't know what's going to happen, since there are leaks on both fronts. Trump gets all those tax avoidance leaks and controversial/embarrassing leaks from past recordings and Hillary gets all those deleted emails. China spys vs russia spys? who knows.

Unfortunately onehash isn't opening for me at all, so I can't check it myself, but I don't understand how is it possible that they change the odds even if you already made the bet. Shouldn't they accept your bet with initial odds, with odds which were when you made that bet? Because otherwise maybe you wouldn't bet at all.

I mean of course they can change the odds with time for the future players, but for those who already made the bet the odds should stay as they were when the bet was made.

Try fairlays. They basically is an orderbook for predictions... Pretty sure they are offering Hillary/Trump betting as well. The odds I am not so sure about whether they are better or worse than conventional non bitcoin bookies.

Yes, I believe that Trump would've won easily had he controlled his mouth a bit better, as a lot of people don't like Hillary and American citizens want something different; a successful businessman (as opposed to a politician) probably would've won.

I'm pretty sure that you're missing the point. You can "play the odds" and try to bet such that you're +ev whether Hillary or Trump win - by betting and seeing if the odds change in your favor (you bet on a favorite, and then the payout decreases for them and increases for the other - now you can bet on the other candidate and profit no matter the result)

For example... on the day, Hillary's odds are at 1.98x and Donald Trump's odds are at 1.98x as well (arbitrary example)

You "short" on Hillary Clinton where you expect her payout to decline. Say you bet 10 BTC.

This is the case and then now her odds are at 1.32x and Trump's odds are at 3.3x (like on DB right now) then now you can make a bet on Trump odds to get a guaranteed profit.

If Hillary wins, your prior bet gives you a profit of 9.8 BTC.
If Trump wins, you lose 10 BTC...
So you prevent that by betting at least 3.04 BTC on Trump. If you want a profit, then you bet 6 BTC which would provide the following:

Your total bet is 16 BTC.
If Hillary wins, you win 19.8 BTC - 16 BTC = 3.8 BTC
If Trump wins, you win 19.8 BTC - 16 BTC = 3.8 BTC

Guaranteed profit of 3.8 BTC. Unless somehow the other candidates win.

If Hillary wins, your profit is 19.8 - n - 10 (winnings - hedge bet - initial wager)
If Trump wins, your profit is 3.3n - n - 10 (winnings - hedge bet - initial wager)

19.8 - n  - 10 = 3.3n - n - 10
9.8 - n = 2.3n - 10
19.8 = 3.3n

n = 6

So you bet 6 BTC. And you get a profit of 19.8 - n - 10 = 3.8 BTC
