No Country is scam free. You don't conclude China/US are bad Countries because of few folks there who may have defrauded u. It's not done that way.

Well a friend of a friend of mine was once dating a guy online that she met on a dating website, she reassured us all the time that he was real and it was true love even after the part where she mentioned that she would help him out every so often with money for medical bills after hurting himself not long ago that's why he couldn't work

So you think only people in Nigeria can scam right? Scammers are everywhere and I expect people to be judge on the basis of their individual character and not where they came from or where they reside. OP proudly says where he came from rather than hiding under the fact that he is from "God's own country" where scammers are not?.
