In countries where there is no work or it is very poorly paid, this can be a very good source of income. Of course, spam does not require too much effort, but writing in English can also be an interesting form of language learning. I do not agree with it, but I do not claim that there are only bad sides.

Yup, I understand that there are legit posters in CT too. And also, getting paid to post on forums has its own appeal compared to other microjobs are more demanding yet pay peanuts.

At least users can be sure that they will receive payment. It often happens that someone performs some small tasks for many days or even weeks and finally the service turns out to be a scam.

Certainly a long way for Cryptotalk to turn into a source of reliable information, but if thanks to this users and forum owners will be satisfied, I think it is very good for the whole community.

People stay there just because of the rewards, even they paid for the spam post as and it's definitely doesn't make sense the content in every topic had.

At least, CT knows now how it feels the forum that has a full of spam feast as what they did here in Bitcointalk before.

Truth to be told, I did have some interest to join but I lost a few brain cells in the process, and had to give it a pass Cheesy

I do not think that the decision to pay for posts from 101 was wrong or abuse.
It was when they start paying from lower number of posts that Cryptotalk was one big spam incubator.

It was easy to see how things would turn out by not implementing a threshold. Like you said, back when I browsed CT, most posts were at at least 100 chars.

But with the current state, there's a better control over the spamfest.

However, I'm not entirely sure ... I think they were aware of how it works and how it will end. I think this is a long-term project and, as a consequence, they are trying to create competition for Bitcointalk. I wonder how long they will try and will it ever work out...?  Roll Eyes

Bitcointalk.org is full of crypto talk signatures.

For how long this campaign started?

I checked this site. This is just an ordinary site why they paying so much money to promote this site. Stealing bitcointalk.org customers?

Are you serious? Why will anyone steal the customers by paying them? I would suggest you check their ANN thread and check out yourself to understand how this campaign has been going on. It's a humble request not to accuse anyone without valid proof and I feel since your rank does not allow you to participate in this campaign you are trying to portray them in a negative light. I have been a part of Yobit campaign from four years before your account was created.

The more places where is crypto disused is better. Talking about stealing anything is dumb. 1+1 is always 3. Lets hope this year 2 more forums like bitcointalk and cryptotalk will appear.

Stealing bitcointalk.org customers?
Bitcointalk is neither a service not a business platform so they are not stealing any customers.

Cryptotlk is nowhere near to bitcointalk, bitcointalk is existing for more than a decade and the number of community and active users are too huge number compared to cryptotalk and moreover they are maintaining high traffic by paying for eery post, once they stop payment people will stop posting.

Incase you didn't notice, the Cryptotalk signature campaign ended some weeks ago and the present signatures are sponsored by Yobit, although I can see where you are confused because the signatures has the same basic colours but if you would just read the text, you would notice that the Campaign has ended.

As for another forum stealing Bitcointalk customers as you say, let me ask you a simple question...
Has the invention of Altcoins really stolen all the users of Bitcoin?
Biitcointalk is the premier forum for Cryptocurrencies and I don't see any competition stealing the people here anytime soon, not in the near future and likely not forever.

Absolutely no, they are not stealing bitcointalk's customers, this is absolutely misconception, we should look at it in a positive way, the more forum we have the more Cryptocurrency community we had the better for the ecosystem, it is part of the adoption system, time will come that there will be forum for every country, you should look further and for the betterment of the community.

Cryptotalk forum is not an ordinary forum because it is managed by the Yobit and as we all know yobit has a lot of money from their own exchange. They can fund the campaign for as long as they wish. Yes, they are spending a lot of money on campaigns, but at the same time they should be getting a lot of advantages and customers too.

There are two campaigns; one managed by yahoo and the other is basically solely posting on the forum itself.

But with the high levels of abuse, Cryptotalk has only enabled payments from the 101th post.

Yes there signature now referring to Yobit rather cryptotalk.

One thing we have to admit is that they have immense money to spend.

Yobit is not totally a scam. Signature campaign is still there means yobit still has confidence of users

This is their latest campaign thread

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yobitnet-signature-campaign-5188047

So you could check on that thread that there is a maximum of 5 posts per day to get paid on and it's on their website on which you could withdraw your claims or not. I'm pretty sure they have been through a lot battling spammers etc.

In addition to what LTU_btc, why would you even have that kind of service? It's not that hard looking for good threads in the forum? I'm just not sure what the OP's motive really is. Hmm. Huh

Dear crwth and LTU_btc. Have a life and relax. I have questions and will keep on asking.

You will only get a one more post for your signature campaign. So thank me rather speaking sh*t

where did you see the Cryptotalk campaign?you have posted this on January 4 but since december Cryptotalk signature has been change to Yobit airdrop so i dont think there is a right form of question here?it is not because the same color means same campaign though the owner is same.

anyway to get close to your Question,Cryptotalk campaign had already stopped maybe they find no good effect on their promotion si they return to Yobit again and i am sure that even if they spend thousands of bitcoin for promotion still no effect to Bitcointalk.org because yobit faces so many issues here and people are aware of that.

The cryptotalk campaign which has now turned into yobitaridrop has been going on for a long time and there is no sign that they will end the campaign.
Maybe the campaign will continue for a long time, but for several moments the participant has experienced payment problems because the balance has run out. Although the balance was added again, there were some participants who decided to stop posting and leave the campaign.

It seems like they have enough funds to use to pay participants during the campaign, and they dont even limit the number of participants to this campaign.
