I think it just repeating it self, just by comparing on how the market has been going on in the past years its graph tell it all, traders who has been in the market for a long time has seen this movement in the bitcoin price and just waiting for mid of the year to buy bitcoin again.
mid of the year to buy bitcoin again? Why aren't investors buying now. Is this not the best time to buy. Like Warren Buffet said: “Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful”

Yes the history will repeat,Q1 of 2018 would be alts months and after that its another bloodbath but it will comeback when the last quarte came in,
It seems true that some history will be repeated, but there are different situations now, the marketcap of the cryptocurrency is much bigger than before, the cheap coins period will not be repeated again.

I think, that history will always be repeated. Because in fact the cryptocurrency market is regulated by "big players". Therefore, when "big players" need to purchase at a cheap price, bad news is coming out and the market is "falling". "Big players" make the purchase and go ahead-there are good news and the market is growing. "Big players" fix profits. And then the story repeats, because the "big players" again need to buy at a cheap price ...

I agree with you! It can be something very bad, or something very good, if you understand how do that people act...  Wink My friends said me that the founder or co-founder of bitcoin.com (unconfirmed info) is predicting BTC by 3k$ in 2018, because guys that are dumping the BTC are not the mass, but the big players that are holding 40% of BTC... I think 2018 will be the year of BTC fall, and alt success Smiley

At the end of 2016 - early 2017 on the market it's many cryptocurrency investors from countries in the Asian region, in connection with which has occurred throughout the growth of cryptocurrencies. Now after a long slump altcoins are increasing again, and it all happens on the background of the launch of futures on bitcoin.... Do not you think that the market once again came the "fresh blood" and we are waiting for a runaway take-off?
History repeats itself?Yes, history is always strikingly similar, and every rise is the same, the first is bitcoin, the second is ETH, and then the various altcoins.

Yes, history does repeat itself but never the same exact way.  I think the October,November and December market mirrors the May, June and July market.  The earlier market had the same feel to it, plenty of 'fresh blood'.  Then we had the nice crash in the alternative markets after BTC dipped.

It will be very telling how big of dip BTC has and exactly how the alts follow or do not follow suit.

I agree, it certainly feels like this is how it will play out.

I think we are seeing a lot of people who now have significant sums in Bitcoin because of the rise in price trying to diversify their holdings.

Absolutelly yes! Do you can imagine how many "fresh blood" as you said, came to BTC in last days/weeks/mothns? People just listen about BTC everywhere, but they still don't understand it! they see the price increasing, and they believe that it wiill be always like now, also they believe that this is the pyramid, so a litle dump can scary all these people, and they will dump it! BUT I don't believe that we will see "low" prices for many time... who know how it works, will buy it Smiley so everyt, and it will pump, and the story will repeat again  Roll Eyes

I think the bitcoin price is very volatile where bitcoin will experience a very high price increase this is because of the large pumping scale of the investors that made the price increase is quite high. and this will impact on large-scale sales by bitcoin holders that keep bitcoin prices back down and I think some of these factors are causing bitcoin prices to be very volatile. this time as well as repeating a history in late 2016 to early2017 which is a lucky day for bitcoin holders and this is likely to happen again. I think that's the greatness of bitcoin everywhere so fluctuating and this is an advantage for traders.

Somewhat true it is. Fresh blood is entering the markets but that's not for altcoins, bitcoin futures is entirely different. It's a financial instrument traded for cash. That is not directly affecting, rather it's further more indirect, mostly it's due to these pump and dump groups, well from what I know of. But this is something that is good for me and a lot more traders as finally the price of alts will increase and at least we can sell it at break even point. That bad the altcoin markets have been, but it differs for a person to person due to the different timings.

Those who wait for a big dump will have too much problems because we started a new era in crypto markets. We're not in old low volume days. The market got bigger and millions of people are in the system.

I believe the rising popularity of cryptocurrencies will soon attract the attention of market regulators in the US and other places which will lead to a market crash. I think this will happen in next 3 months

I presume this will be take place again in the market. So for sure history will repeat itself because of this market volatility. It cycles will become uptrend or downtrend anytime the usuall happen.

Whatever happens and whatever the reason, the fact remains the same that the crypto market still has more appeal as time passes. The various activities occurring in this industry since the beginning of 2017 should be considered if the general market volatility is correctly analyzed.
