I can't say if it's true or not, but i believe HitBTC is not a scam, it's also Top 20 Exchange in coinmarketcap.
The worst thing that makes me hated this exchange is their fees for withdrawal! Depositing Bitcoin also charging fees, it wasn't user-friendly.

it seems that it is not done by their side (hit Btc), it might be done by another party who wants the Btc Hit to no longer run and is no longer entrusted. in my opinion it is an issue developed by the opposing party. I hope that it is not information that can be trusted.

I have used this exchange so many times for trading but I have not observed anything like this. May be they are trying their best to gain trust from traders.
This would be helpful in executing scam. But an exchange would be doing a scam, when they are earning a lot of profit in the form of transaction fee. I am unable to understand Huh

I think, Hitbtc is not a scam exchange, but they clearly have big problems with fulfilling their obligations sometimes.

For example, issue with pre-paid Karma token situation: https://www.coinspeaker.com/karma-group-charges-hitbtc-exchange-fraud-deceit/

Now Karma is listed, but it was should happen in much short time, not in half a year. And without a lawsuit.

I had some troubles with hitbtc recently. Unironically that was a delay of transferring my btc from main acc to trading acc. Usually it lasts couple seconds but that time it lasted about 5 minutes and to be fair I was kinda scared Grin

Even tho I have been using hitbtc from time to time for 1+ year without major problems

As far as I use hitbtc for each transaction it is very smooth and there are no problems so far, but every exchange there must be interruptions and repairs that I often experience.

My friend working in crypto related corporation told me that hit btc is a russian exchange although they don't disclose such information.
I faced problems with hit btc and I don't like their minimum requirement for trades.

It is not a scam.I used to trade it.It charges a high fee which is unpleasant. this exchange has a lot of altcoins that can be traded.Still good in other respects.

yes comissions are extremely high especially on some coins...but everything else seems ok

Yeah as far as I know hitbtc had the largest coin listing and it's funny that OP easily believe from what he read in the article.
He should try it to see it for his self. I've been using hitbtc and for the record everything went well. What I just hated is the flat rate of 0.001btc that really leaves my wallet empty.
