It seems it is not a technical issue, but some automatic account lock-up when you receive the "Currency operations not available" error. I have received it too without any details and I cannot withdrawl nor trade.

I have already submitted these 2 tickets: #251169 and #251893 but still have not received any reply nor any fix.

What can I do to get a fix to this?
There is no fix until the team there fixes it. I have the same issue. I never had problems before with htbtc but now only deposits work.

Well guys, good news for me at least. I was able to withdraw my ETH. It wasn't working for a couple of hours. I guess I was lucky.

"Withdraw request has been successfully submitted!" Maybe it was because I sent them an email and complained. Who knows.

I hope you guys can withdraw as well.

I hope 2018 is a stabilizing year for us and we can get rid of all shitcoins and shitexchanges.

Peace

Seems you easily freaked out brother and what you've said can create some fuss especially in newbies. Hitbtc always undergo in that situation so better be used to it or spare yourself from trading there. They have always this " maintenance " thing and after some hours it's all back again, actually I'm not sure what's going on there but for me one thing is certain that hitbtc is still a trusted platform.

I am also getting this red alert of "Currency operations not available" when trying to move 1 ETH from the Trading Account to the Main Account so that I can do a Withdraw... I have just started using HitBTC, but this is frustrating... it seems that waiting is the only answer. I will try tomorrow again.

This sometimes happens in hitbtc exchange. Just wait for the technical team to fix it, until they fix, you can't move your funds between main account and trading account. You also may not be able to withdraw them into your personal wallet too.

What is the best option to cash out tokens from Hitbtc? I suggest following chain:
Tokens-btc-withdraw and send to localbitcoin-cash out
Do you have other options?

HitBTC has become a shitty exchange now. 2 times, I have had a problem regarding withdrawals and since then I never traded in it. I wouldn't be surprised if one day they would all go crashing down; the signs are there. Like what happened to the people who traded AMM...poor guys.

In my experience so far with HitBTC, I never get any problem, deposit and withdraw succesfully, this exchange also operated since 2013 so I think this is one of the biggest exchange that has good reputasion.

Hitbtc are trusted exchange site all over the year but in this past few week I experience some problem in withdrawal and deposite my coins some wallet are maintenance or not available this is not good for a trader like me.
I read some news that hitbtc are experiencing a difficult problem in there site I hope they will never turn to scam or not to shutdown their site.

I've read Reddit threads where tons of people are complaining about the same thing. A big red "Currency operations not available" message when trying to withdraw from the exchange. I have even tried exchange my coins to ETH and still cannot withdraw.

After the EtherDelta hack and other reports of HitBTC problems I'm eager to get my assets off of HitBTC and onto a long-standing reputable exchange.

Unfortunately in order to sometimes own an altcoin early we need to temporarily trade on not so well-established exchanges.

Anyone having success withdrawing today?
Hitbtc has been disabling the withdraw feature, as far as i know, that all of the withdraw feature seems automated. the problem is in hitbtc itself. I was moving all of my funds from there. I remember correctly about hitbtc are disabled it from a month ago. No one can withdraw their money from there.

Fortunately,my coins withdrawal are all successful. We have just withdraw our CAPP coins from HITBTC because of these issues of deposits, withdrawals and the worst is losing the coins in the process. Our coin CEO make negative statements against HitBTC due to their poor performance which is not good for our trading as a result our coins was delisted in their site without notice. Now we are in Cryptopia.

Nope, I'm unable to withdraw from hitbtc as well -- kinda expected, this exchange has been having problems for a long time now and this was all going to come crashing down at some point. I just really open everyone is able to get their money back and this isn't some shitty exit scam by the incompetent team at hitbtc.

goodluck to you and everyone else!
UnF'ing believable. I get the feeling that some new alt coins are created so that scamming exchanges can advertise that they have those alt coins and then keep everyone's funds. I think after this I will never touch an "indie" exchange even if it means I miss out on early profits. I'll wait until the alt coin is on a proven exchange.

No point in worrying about missing out on being early on the action in a coin if you can't get your money out in the first place.

Luckily I spread myself around.
