I just traded in HitBTC 12 hours ago and its seems its fine. However, I don't know why I can't withdraw my bitcoin right now. Maybe I have to wait for 24 hours because I can't really find the withdrawals button although I already put how much I wanted to withdraw plus btc address. Will go back later after 24 hours and see how it goes. Was able to withdraw ETH though about a month ago so I have no doubt that it will be process, so I have to wait and see later.

Just to update about my withdrawal, yeah I was able to withdraw it without any issues whatsover and I don't have problems with HitBTC but I just decided to stay away from them because of so many negatives news I have been hearing lately. I know that there are better exchanges, so I will give it a try and see how it goes for me.

There's so much FUD about hitBTC but I don't see them dying any time soon. In fact, they still have a ton of volume. Yes, they are an extremely sketchy website that nobody should use.

It's definitely important to keep talking negatively about these sites, as it may help people to stop losing out because they've used these shady sites.

It's crazy seeing a place like this still operate, but in crypto there is just too much information to sift through it all, so many people are unaware of what sites are trustworthy.

I don't think that they will die any time soon. A lot of ICO's still loves their coins listed on HitBTC, I don't know the reasons maybe listing on them is cheap or whatever, so people holding that token either investors or bounty hunters will obviously used the exchange to trade their token. And they are still on the top 10 per 24 hour trading volume, so as much as we say negative things about them, there will be traders who will continue to used this platform, but at least I already get out early and got myself relief of so many headaches.

Frankly speaking, i really have a bad experience trading with hitbtc.
1. I deposit XVG and arrive at hitbtc wallet more than 1 week. must check the system health everytime.
System health don't synchronce with the wallet. so you can still deposit to their wallet wherever there is a maintenance in their system.
so your coin will stuck.

2. Bad customer service. always reply with the same answer like a robot.

3. HIGH Withdrawal FEE

4. some coin must should be divisible by 1000/100. You must REALLY check it first before deposit your coin. or you coin means nothing and when you want to wd
remember again their HIGH withdrawal fee.

I don’t know what this all mishaps about hitbtc and it’s bad image propaganda from random member who even doesn’t have tried trading. I know right, post are made by some to gain more for their campaigns.

I’ve used Hitbtc for a couple of times and doesn’t have any issues about it. The last time is last week.

We should be careful on our statements and used facts than just hearsay from other member.

I used it once. High cost and long waiting time. HitHTC died and electronic money exchange of Korea Bithumb was hacked. I am very worried about the safety of the exchange sites. I am very worried so I always keep coinin my wallet. Only when I need money, I will transfer coin to exchange sites.

Along with the high withdraw fees and slow response, another thing which annoyed me s lot is the minimum trades for pairs, which is of multiples of ten or hundred. The small balances cannot be converted. I wonder how much they are stealing from customers this way!

Hello?

It's death just now.

Is this happening often?

They're not anonymous right? Where are they based on?

Hitbtc is working though , you can just reload the page itself , and probably take a look at this link to expand your understanding in regards of this situation i hope i help , http://downdetector.com/status/hitbtc its said that there has no problem at hitbtc.
There are several times which they do have a down server and this might be too overload or any possible reasons behind but rest assured they do goes back online and fully operational.

Exchange HitHTC is not really good, very high fees.
Very high indeed, not only charging up on withdrawal fees they do charge up with deposit fees also which this kind of thing do really sucks and i was long time ago to leave out this exchange.

I don’t know for sure, but I was about to go for it before I decided to make some research about it and stumbled across a lot of post online and even on the bitcointalk.org forum claiming that Hitbtc is a scam. So that made me to quit from it, I can’t take such risks. I don’t usually go for anything that has a bad reputation, cause I can’t risk my hard earned money, I know the sweat it took, it wasn’t easy. And losing it just like that, no matter how little I lose, it’s something I can’t afford. But God help us.

Smart move. You'll be better off without HitBTC. They've already screwed over way too many people.

Binance seems to serve its users in the best possible way, and that on all grounds.
Binance is one of the main reasons other exchanges are losing market share because of how traders will always follow the highest volumes and the most liquid coin pairs, and Binance exels here.

It's actually quite fascinating how Binance has managed to floor more than half the market in such a short period of time. Out of nothing it popped up and started dominating the market with iron fist.

The only downside to this is that it is heavily centralizing the exchange market. One blow of Binance will shake up the entire market. It's quite a scary thought, but thus far they did it right.

Yes, you may be right that other exchanges take part of the market, but this does not mean that little-known exchanges do not have great prospects. For example, Poloniex is much better than Binance, but inferior to Bitrex. A lot of exchanges and hitBTC can not fall for this reason.
