Hi all,

anyone facing issues depositing tokens on the hitbtc site? I have deposited mine 4 months ago yet it is still not credited to my account. Wrote in to their tech support team yet no action has been done.

I did experience the same problem with hitbtc and took almost a month for my deposit to reflect on my account and the sad part is emails went unanswered for a very long time too and learning that this still goes on is not good news!

I thought these guys problems were fixed after their said upgrades  Roll Eyes anyway they need a solution urgently before they lose clients to other exchanges who value customers time.

wow lucky you, almost a month isnt so bad. How many tickets did you submit for them to resolve your issue?  Huh

That feeling when you waited for a long time (4 months in your case) and you get a reply that crediting takes some time.  Undecided That's really disappointing and annoying. What a service.

These problems can be avoided when you distance yourself from shitty tokens and shitty exchanges. I definitely get it that people love tokens, but they are one of the main reasons exchanges suffer from problems they aren't willing to allocate time for. It's annoying for sure, but I am past the stage of feeling sorry for anyone suffering from the same problems. It's a risk you must accept exposing yourself to, and that there isn't anything you can do other than waiting for the exchange to settle everything. They have your coins/tokens and for that reason you need to do as they say....

Have avoided this exchange ever since this incident lol. Unfortunately the coin i was holding isnt listed elsewhere so i gave this exchange a shot.  Embarrassed

Yeah definitely disappointed with HitBTC with their standard of service and gonna steer clear of their exchange. Still hoping that they will credit my account sooner or later lol.

HitBTC is one of these exchanges that I would personally never use, since I just simply find it extremely shady and very unreputable. It's not rare to see deposits get held up for long periods of time. Especially HitBTC, I've heard plenty of people have delayed deposits, but never for so long.

It's definitely a bit late to report this issue now, though. 4 months is a long period of time, and you should have questioned support about the issue within 2-3 days if your deposit hasn't gone through.

Do you still have your TXID, and has your deposit address remained the same as the one that you sent funds to? If yes, then include all of these relevant infos in your support request. Support tickets can simply be delayed because of a lack of information. HitBTC is the only ones that can help you in this case, IF you didn't send to the wrong address.

i have provided everything that is needed for them to investigate (deposit address/trxn id). Seems that it is not an issue of deposit into the wrong address. As shown below is the response from the support team however as usual no action was done from their end and im just waiting and waiting.




They've pretty much acknowledged the fact that they have messed something up, and the deposit is legitimate. Keep that screenshot, and show them in future support conversations if need be to prove the legitimacy of your claims.

Right now, you just have to wait for them to actually credit you with the appropriate amount of tokens, as promised. HitBTC can be extremely slow at times with support, and this time seems to be no different (ticket was responded to 2 weeks ago, almost, but no action taken).

I doubt reaching them via Twitter will help that much, since they'll still have to manually credit you. Hopefully you have learned your lesson with HitBTC, just don't use them since they are not the most reputable, nor the most responsive or responsible of exchanges.

Try tweeting to them @hitbtc, they are replying there. Mention that you have waited this long plus the ticket number for them to check and get back to you soon.

There's a lot of complaints about this site when I was reviewed your deposit address/trxn id there's nothing wrong with it so probably it is in hitBTC exchange error.

Have you noticed any maintenance activity these days because they are always having maintenance one of the problem deposit and the withdrawal issues. To OP you may now aware of this site much better keep away on this site they are no responding to their clients it looks like a shady site that not having reputable name.

I doubt this kind of pendings do mostly have the reasons either they do have wallet maintenance of such particular wallet yet OP didnt even mention what token he had pass on to the site.OP isnt the only one having this kind of issue and ive been seeing people who do have similar problems towards them thats i why im really reluctant or hesitant on using up this exchange ever since.When i do read up negatives im more cautious.
Contacting support every now and then will be the main option.

Regardless of the token, tons of problems are existing about their deposit to hitbtc.

It might be due to some error and that's why your deposit isn't showing to your account. 4 months ago is a long time to wait for an answer, contact them once again.
