I havent had any luck.. used one for fun but I agree its not very profitable or even worth the setup.. was just interested in the tech more than anything else.. but I doubt thats going to happen in your lifetime.
Too many pools and competitors out there, Better get a rig if you wanna mine BTC and join a pool.
Or look into mining other cryptos with some interesting upside potential and see it as a longer term investment, or try buying cheap masternodes of starting POS/POW coins agiain with potential and growing communities.

When solo mining on a laptop you will not earn more than 50$ a year. I think home mining is unfortunately over

I think it's too late to use usb miner. It's not profitable anymore and maybe you send the rest of your life mining without reaching 1 btc. This could be life changing money for $100 investment
