No need yet. I will be releasing a final beta version here soon, you can try it out then if you like. It will have everything except for the hard forks. You can also just wait for 1.5 officially, which should be the same as the beta 1.5s , minus any bugs found.

As for the VIP idea, being within top 20 range, I would still favor the same wallet for everyone. Feels better that way to me. You made me wondering though, maybe the same thing could be achieved in an other way without the need for a special wallet.

Would it be possible to make the combine/threshold limit dependent on the size of the address staking?
At this moment number 20 is about 50K, so if the threshold would be 0,05% of this amount, it would be 25. So you would end up being able to select between 5 to 20 or the percentage which only makes sense if you are a large stakeholder.

I have no clue though if such thing is programmable. I am only being enthusiastic!

Ghostlander your work on the split/combine in ORB spurred my thought process and ability to do this so quickly. Not sure I would've gone about it this way. But it was simple and effective! So thank you.

Hmm, that is strange. There are names on the list and I have not changed any code relating to that system since implemented.

This is one of those systems that either fully works or not at all. The message checking is a simple True/False return from the coin daemon. If true CCE places the owner information in the owners field on the address table in the row the address populates. There really is not much that can go wrong.

Are you receiving an error page or does CCE send you to the accepted page after you enter your information and click verify?

Also be aware that owner names are filtered and only upper/lowercase letters numbers spaces . / are accepted. Anything else will be dropped by the filter.

Site field "owner" and wallet field "message" must be the same and not empty.

You generally do not have to, and should right away just erase everything. You should first backup the wallet and database dir, then try to start the client with -salvagewallet . This usually fixes any corruption.

Regarding your question, if you created the export wallet(plain txt) file, you can use the import wallet to combine wallets. You can also use the importprivkey rpc command if you know have the privatekeys.

OK just importing the corrupt wallet was good enough

Minimizes the risk of getting it sent to addresses you don't have a wallet back-up for. And the added control over combine and split stakes is a nice improvement too. High PoS Coin IRC Society

So I've been watching Hyperstake (HYP) and noted that they have a fairly active community going on in their IRC. Unlike the usual junk altcoins vying to "replace BTC" before crashing in value as "investors" move on to the next coin, high PoS coins can exist in harmony since they all provide different features and risk/return profiles to the cryptocurrency *asset* market.

Right now, I'm trying to see if there is interest in having a joint IRC channel for such coins. I'm looking to involve established coins with at least semi-active developers.

Feel free to reply and/or PM me with suggestions as well as anything that you'd be willing to offer, help with, or spearhead. I don't mind topping off tipbots, games, and other aspects, but I'm looking to have something that the community runs and is interested in doing. Thanks and happy staking

This will be added to 1.5. Safely shutdown the client, during a windows shutdown. This will help against possible wallet corruption during a normal windows shutdown or reboot. Won't help much for power failure, but a UPS would!
