I will definitely hold my bitcoins till the end of the year as everyone is hoping to see higher price at the end of the year so that would be the perfect time to sell my bitcoins and even now price has gone down so holding is the only option left for me and selling now would give me lower profits.
In fact, many bitcoin users do holding because they know that the price of bitcoin will rise up and because of that they will earn a lot of income. In addition to that, holding bitcoin or any altcoin is an opportunity to become rich in the near future. Lastly, if you hold now there is a possibility that you could be a millionaire in the future.

Thos who hold their bitcoin and did not panic when bitcoin drop to $1,700 must be smiling and those who panic sell at that time are crying. The weak hands and newbies should do their research and dig about the past of bitcoin this has been happening over and over but bitcoin always find its way to recover and fly to the moon.

You must HODL for at least another few years, bitcoin is going to go meteoric. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Make sure you own as many bitcoin's as you can afford to, you won't regret it.

Whatever happens, just HODL.
That's exactly what I am doing right now. I haven't done anything else since I started with buying my sub $300 coins back in 2015.

I have good fun reading through various threads how people are going nuts. It's like people have never experienced something like this, it's mind boggling.

At the time the price shoots up from $1000 earlier this year, to a peak of almost $3000, people are ok. If the price starts correcting itself, people act like the end is near.
I am glad to know that I have mates just like me.
I have belief in the bitcoin and I think noting bad will happen to the bitcoin. Though the price is coming down every day but I think this is due to the panic sellers. Whatever happens to the price but it will rise again and will reach above $3000. People will again start buying the bitcoin because once you had the fun with bitcoin you can’t stop yourself to have that again.
its addicting especially when excitement is on, taking advantage of this previous downfall and collect more bitcoin gives investors chance to buy cheaper
coin coming from panic seller and this turned them to be a long holders than become a sorry mistake after, risk taker are the one that will benefits in
what happen till this day.

The price keeps getting yanked up and down so unpredictably that it's safest to HODL, and that's what I'm doing. I though it would crash at $2000, but it defied my expectations and continued climbing to $3000. After reading about people selling at $1800 in the hope of buying back in at $1000 I abandoned any thoughts of trading and decided to stick with HODLing. The market's just too unpredictable for me to risk trading.

it is just unpredictable right now though.
all these years we have had unpredictable times such as NOW. and they always go away and we can see clearly. many actually do stay away from the market at times like this and i think it is one of the reasons why volume drops a bit.
staying away and holding is probably the safest bet though. then after things become clear (like all the previous uncertain times) you can come back stronger and pick up the pieces.

Maybe HOLD is a good option. But this time this is a different situation. We are near to face  a Hard/ soft fork for bitcoins and this is making things really unclear. Previously certain hacks of exchanges or news make the price down but we all know it will recover, but this time which bitcoin chain spit no one is sure what will be the outcome and effect on bitcoins due to this. Even all alts are facing downward trend.
Not a good option mate HOLD right now is the best option. There is nothing to worry about the split chain at all. All we need to do is to not to get our coins/ wallets online so that we get no effect of the split. Even if the split happens it will not be anything dangerous to the Bitcoin in fact it will do well to the Bitcoin, trust me.

It seems to me that the split will be dangerous for bitcoins. And that's why I do not want a split. Now a lot of different conversations about the events that may occur on August 1. I decided to just wait and see what would happen.

Now the price goes down and so few will agree to sell their coins. Those who panicked have already emerged from the bitcoin community. And there were only those who believe in bitcoin. If these people can keep bitcoin for a few more months, they will certainly get a big profit
yes the price of bitcoin is currently dropping but still  people are not welling to sell bitcoin. i am sure that with the passage of time the the confident of people will become more stronger and even those people who have already sold their bitcoin in panic selling will try to buy bitcoin again at  a low price but i think may be they do not even get the chance to purchase bitcoin in a low price.

It is true that now is better to hold and save Bitcoin because the price now is like riding unpredictable roller coaster, the price is so unpredictable and then the pricing downfall is also last for a long time, now it is better to buy and hold and wait for the August, I predicted that the price will get better after August
I don’t know what is gonna happen in the future but I have hold my bitcoin and looking at the insane downfall of the price makes me to look at a quite terrible picture of the bitcoin future. I wish I should sell my coins when the price was $2990. Whether it was greed or a wish to earn more I didn’t sell them. Now the only choice that I have is to wait for august and may be the price get better after august.

Not only the bitcoin but as a whole the cryptocurrencies are the most unpredictable of all the time. No one can say that any of the digital currency available in the market will be staying in a good manner and will not lose its price at any moment. There are strategies through which one can safe their investment by diversifying it. I have converted some into etherium, ripple, LTC and MTC.

Bitcoin gets dumped - HODLERS NOT AFFECTED

 Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

That's right, we are bitcoin lovers, so we should not feel worried about what's going to happen in the future. We should keep bitcoin even if its value declines, because it can continue to grow in the future.
Well, I agree to that the price of bitcoin will continue to grow in the near future. In addition to that, as of now many people hold their bitcoin because they know that the price of it will goes up and there is possibility that price of bitcoin will increase day by day in the near future. Holding bitcoin or any coin will help you to gain a lot of income.

There is also a possibility that the network will split and we will wait for the price recovery for several weeks or months. But I would not want this to happen. I still keep my coins and I'm ready to buy more

I had sold some of my bitcoins earlier but I have still some in my cold storage.

I will let those remaining bitcoins I've to be hold for better and will just hold it further more.

I'll wait until the price gets at $5,000 or $10,000 before selling it.

I'll not be touching my cold storage until $100k
Hodl to the brink of death...

You sure about that $100k? You will be having a long journey until waiting for that time.

With the current price I had still enough for profit taking already and I won't be feeling sorry on it.

Will wait for sometime after these drama's are already done.

We see a lot of market speculators and other people predicting the price to reach $100K in the future. Well nothing is impossible to bitcoin, it has already proven that it can increase the price dramatically. But with $100K I don't know how long will it take the touch that price. It will probably took us another 5-10 years to get that price. So its better to really hold bitcoin for long term.

It's just a words of attraction. When people are seeing speculators saying that bitcoin can go fly to the moon.

That will encourage people to invest in bitcoin because good news are being heard and published in articles online.

And everywhere people will say the same thing.

The media have a very big influence on people's opinions. This forum is read by many people and thanks to it readers have an opinion. Therefore it is very important to notice good news and not to sow panic in case of bad news. I'm ready to keep my coins a few more years, I believe in them.

We only need to be patient and keep on waiting for the price to reach another ATH.

The price isn't that good today and we can't do something about it but to wait for the right time and recover it's price.

Whatever happens, just HODL.

Though because of the volatility the profit becomes less, but when the time comes, it will be a win.

Main point of importance is that when you aren't buying or selling at the time the market experiences volatility, you won't gain or lose anything. People should just discard their logic that when the price goes down, they lose. Volatility matters to those that are looking to ride the waves in order to benefit basically from each movement. If you're not a trader, then just relax and do something worthwhile with your time instead of worrying about the market....
Yes, I too wonder why long term believers also start worrying about forks. Bitcoin has proved itself many times fro bouncing back from any level of lower prices and we can be sure this time too will come back more stronger to surprise us one more time. Only traders may need to act now and definitely not all the bitcoin adopters.

People start educating themselves about forks similar to hacking into famous exchanges. We never need to get panic for current situations of bitcoin ecosystem. Everything is going to be normal in real soon.
