Hodl-this, of course, is also a trading strategy, and many simply have to stick to it, because if I sell my crypto portfolio now, then my 70 percent of tokens will be zero! And if I hold on a little more, I can wait for the minimum profit.
Everyone who hold are affected by the bear, your portfolio is even better to only loss 70%, other loss more including me of course.
The purpose of holding is to sell at the right timing, now is still not the right timing, only when we sell at a profit is the timing, we can go bigger or a minimum, but at least we should make profit when selling.

HODL is the best option now for all my altcoins. I will keep Hodling till the bearish market is over. Everyone was thinking that bull run will start toward the end of the year, instead, there is a consistent reduction in price. Let keep hodling next year will get better for everyone.
I want to know what you feel, is there still hope for the remaining 18 days before the year end?

The market is slowly growing and it is a good indication for the people to hold the coins instead of selling them for low prices, i have been holding the coins for more than a year now because we know how potential the market is going to once the market starts recovering means. We already bought the coins at the high price which it is impossible for us to sell them at the low prices.

HOLD is a great choice now. The price of altcoins is increasing day by day and to get x5 - x10 profit, we need to hold for another 2-4 months. When Q3 starts, our market will be bustling again and the price of BTC will increase to $ 6k9.

I wouldn't recommend long-term holding for altcoins which don't have solid basics. IMO, out of the 10,000+ altcoins (and tokens) out there, only 1% or 2% is going to survive for more than 5 years. I would advice you to go for partial profit booking.

Holding is certainly a great option, but do not forget that all companies will be for a long time to constantly develop, it is necessary to periodically review your portfolio and take profit

Just hold Bitcoins has always been the best options, I only trade with a  small part of my cryptos, And I always think about have many satoshis I can make in a trade, the $ value ain't that important for me. I only trade altcoins to get more bitcoins, and I don't want to hold altcoins for a too long time.
Holding and trading for short term are both good, you just have to ensure that you are able to manage it properly.
The amount of money you considered as capital has to be properly manage, you can increase your allocation from time to time depending on how you see your performance. If you are making good profit with short term trading, you can be aggressive with it but also be discipline and make sure you are still holding your coins for long term hold until your target is achieve.

Even on this sudden surge, I still holding my stored crypto as long as I did not money on it. However, I feel that this small spike on bitcoin price now it will continue growing up until we can be called it bull run. Maybe there's nothing wrong if we still going on holding, yes, it sounds greed but I think it will contribute from a huge dump if we help to hold rather than to sell.

I also think that holding is safely then sell in panic. We could see now bitcoin price has started to grow and very soon we will see bitcoin will grew more than it, so most of the people who hold bitcoin for a long time and now they will get their reward, that is a benefit for holding only.
I don’t hold a lot of coins , I just go for coins that are really promising. When I’m investing I don’t miss out on investing my money in Bitcoin, that’s very important and the has started going up already. Someone once said that as the price is going up a bit, FOMO can trigger the bull as a lot of investors will think this is bull and start rushing in and as they are all rushing in the market will start growing bigger.

Still, hodl is a good thing to do, but I hope you do know that there are alt coins that are not really worth being hodl'ed and you can lose money by hodl'ing them. So if you have any alt coins, I will advise you to take your time and do some research on them and go through market analysis about them to know which ones are worth investing or not, so that you don’t make mistake .

i want to believe that you are probably selling some of your altcoins off now as the market seems to have picked up a bit, though i would have adviced you to still hold cus according to some analysis i luckily stumbled upon on the internet, the bull is on its way, though it might not be as fast as  it was in 2017/2018 ....but rest assured that soon enough, those who held through the bear market will reap their reward
Maybe if OP hold until now, he might can take his profit. Hope he is not lose his patience and not sell his assets in low price. It is fact that bitcoin always be good for people who be patient especially in trading activity.

I think everything depends on how much you are at a loss. If you are a very high loss (80-90%) it does not make much sense to sell, so hold is the lesser evil.
Yeah hold is better strategy especially in bear market. If we sell our coins now then we will miss profits after bull run start.
Well certainly the point where now the market is, for everyone who is investing and how is holding it is good time to keep holding for few month even more, the coin you compensate for trading needs time to grow and make price higher, it will take time for the price to be high, so to achieve that level of high price all of us will have to hold.

As you can see slowly market is recovering which helps us to hold instead of selling them for low prices. I though when the bitcoin price reaches more than 5000$ I want sell some of my holdings. But that is the major mistake we are doing, so it is always good to grab as many coins as possible in the market for future results.

These positive signs make me think that the best choice for us now is to hold Bitcoin. I guess, it will go on growing this year. I am not sure that this bull run can be compared with the pump of 2017, but we will see it.

Holding bitcoin for long term is a good choice you can do in a bearish trend a positive outcome will always come you need more patience and stay calm your emotion to trade safety and to earn a good return.

well, this is a sure thing in the crypto world. bitcoin is the highest crypto. storing it can make us get a big profit when the price goes up. well, sometimes the pump is marked with the increase in the price of bitcoin, and eth as it is now. so, I think that some people who have more than 1 bitcoin have benefited. holding back is very important.
