As a note I have both litecoin and ethereum, it seems eth will surge once July approaches. Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet? I was hoping Litecoin would have shot up sooner so I could get more eth before it decided to shoot up, but oh well.
One thing you should know is that you shouldn't act on anyone's opinion in this crypto space, because when you do and things go sideways you only be the one to lose your money, so it's important for you to DYOR then decide for yourself what is best, but I will suggest you get more eth rather than LTC, because imo LTC has a slowly rate in terms of growth whereas ETH is faster in terms of growth and  it has a whole ecosystem and a much larger community than LTC, if you keep waiting for LTC to shoot up first then you might buy eth at $3,000+ very soon, ETH is pumping hard right now, the best time to buy was at the recent dip.

Just swap it to ETH if you think ETH has more prospect than litecoin which rumoured to have been abandoned (cmiiw since I've never try to look into any news regarding litecoin) and smart contract coin like ETH definitely more popular these days, you can get defi and dapps meanwhile with litecoin you can use it for sending money and pay bill I guess?
Not to mention development in ethereum is really active, try to see their repo so many contributors and the community itself actively discussing about this coin, even the price right now is kinda bullish because more and more people coming back to ETH after the gas fee has decreased significantly.

now it is better to switch to ETH, for profit in usdt. You will not be able to increase the number of eth at the expense of ltc, until I see prospects for greater growth in LTC than ETH.

If you are okay holding both coins for long term then I don't think there is any need to bother which one will grow more than the other, but if you are considering price as well as gains, then I think you can convert Litecoin to Ethereum taking into account the way Ethereum is projected to grow due to upcoming developments. One thing is that, in this bull market, everyone is trying to maximize whatever opportunity they are presented with, hence the reason I think you are asking the question. Lastly, some coins are bound to grow more than others, and I think this is also the scenario with Litecoin and Ethereum.

If the profit from ETH is enough to satisfy you then I think you can move up a little to LTC, I personally like both of these coins. But I differ from you that I only keep ETH, next time ETH will have a lot of new updates. So no doubt I firmly believe that ETH will increase a lot in the near future.

I prefer ethereum consider ethereum will be getting a big update in the future and it will be moving to the POS consensus. This will decrease the inflation, give hardcap to the supply, increase the block size, and there will be so many new features to come in the ethereum platform. That could be a game-changer for you. I think that so many people will pick ethereum rather than litecoin.
So far ethereum offers more utility use cases compared with litecoin. That makes sense if ethereum is superior compared with litecoin.

Both litecoin and ethereum are in a good position during the bull run in the crypto market. But litecoin's future is going to be better for ethereum's price increase if you keep holding on by investing the price will go up further but now ethereum has pumped a lot after bitcoin it would be better to invest in ethereum. The value of this currency will increase further almost every coin broke his record during the bull run.

Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet?
If you have spare money to invest. Then why would you not trade some and hold it until you are sure what to do?
Having litecoin means more money, because litecoin is still a promising coin until this date.

Exchange it to ethereum could make you get less reward during this season to be honest.

You have both in your folio ? so why need to bother yourself when those coins are really futuristic and has a long way to go this 2021 means keep Holding them and never change ways for your own goodness ..
Litecoin is simply climbing step by step , look maintaining more than 250$ value while ETH is also keeping the 2000$ range .
Keep them up and add More Bitcoin for more secure investments .

I myself use both, why exchange to one of the coins if both are proven to have good potential.
I would rather see the two coins we own grow together rather than have to be a spectator for one of them. the potential of LTC and ETH are as good as both dragons, especially LTC is like a sleeping dragon when waking up will shake the crypto market

Perhaps, you can trade your litecoin pair ethereum in Binance, so you can have a chance to increase your litecoin or have ethereum as the profit. But that is only if you have skills in trading, so you can see how big your chance to trade litecoin pair ethereum. Litecoin will have a new ATH soon and perhaps, and you need to be patient to wait for that time to comes.

But I guess you need to research for more which way you can do, so you don't just follow other people's suggestions and you know why you do that.

The bull market continues, that's all that matters when it comes to judging LTC and I believe that very soon LTC will break a new all time high but right now Ethereum is just looking way better than LTC so if LTC is all you got you can sell 50% of your LTC for ETH

If I were you, I would rather diversify litecoin over etheruem cause i know for sure that would surely a huge increases in time. Imagine how ethereum coin remains on the top 2 of coinlist from that it signifies how stronger it is.
So does Litecoin also have the potential to strengthen and pump hard? I am sure that the two assets he has chosen are investments that will not give you a disappointment. Currently, ethereum may be more aggressive in its increasing market. but LTC also has the same potential. now, ETH may become more expensive with the increase in adoption of new projects increases.

If I were in your position I would stick with it because Litecoin is the best coin I have for the long term and will make huge profits if you are consistent and patient.
and some Litecoin enthusiasts who predict that the next few months or the end of this year will increase significantly.
the decision is yours and everyone gives you good advice, do your research and find accurate news for developments over the next few months, I think all coins are good to have in the long run and to avoid worry and panic when the coins you hold have not developed significantly.

If there are only two coins to choose from, then I would prefer Ethereum over Litecoin. The number of Ethereum users is very high, so having ETH in the wallet will be safer. In addition, we can use Ethereum to access Uniswap or other DeFi which is also very helpful for us in printing more money.
If you could consider BNB again, maybe I would prefer BNB over Ethereum.

Are you too greedy, look back from when you first started buying it. This time looking at LTC and ETH I strongly believe it will grow strongly in the future, instead of trying to be smart, please know to be satisfied with what you have.

Litecoin is OG. This is already proven since the beginning, we all know that Litecoin is forked of Bitcoin. Which we can consider an alternative to Bitcoin for payments.
So, Litecoin and Ethereum are totally different.
And besides that, there are a lot of people who started to talk about Ethereum will flip Bitcoin, especially if you take a look at ETH/BTC price, it started to moving up.

If we compare the GAIN PERCENTAGE for Ethereum and Litecoin since last year, Ethereum gained too much compare to Litecoin. So, it's your choice...

It's hard to say consider both were reliable coin bug you could take a look at the development progress that already made by litecoin and ethereum. The fact that if the ethereum is very active developing the platform while i rarely seen litecoin was getting a big announcement. The institutions are interested with ethereum rather than litecoin. I think that you can draw your own conclusion about this dude.
I personally will pick ethereum instead of litecoin.

Hodl both Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Just to be safe. You won't be sorry for doing so. Litecoin (LTC) having not yet registered a new ATH is not a problem. In fact, it is a factor that should be considered. That would mean that it still has a bigger room for further price increases in the near future. Remember Litecoin (LTC) is one of the most respected altcoin, probably next to Ethereum (ETH). It doesn't affect much your portfolio if you allocate a significant amount to these two.
