Thats normal. People tend to panic selling and buying. However the good timing is basic. Hodl is good because you can control when is the good timing for you. Remember dont panic buy or sell. Just hodl if price is down. It eventually go up. Wait the pump.
I've made similar moves man. I just tried to use it as a learning experience as well.
Smart people should have sold their coins months and buy them back now.

i think you can say regret but you can start now see the price of bitcoin now and altcoins the price are get low little by little so it's the chance grab it do investment here then stock that in few months to earn money i'm sure about it.I have to learn from experience and gather as much Bitcoin as I can.
Exactly, we should not see it as a negative situation and regret, instead see this as a positive thing that could bring us cheap coinswhere we can sell at a good profit once the market is back up again. A normal situation does not need to create a panic, if we are smart we understand this.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. 
Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

When you see how a coin has grown by 100% per day, it's hard not to sell it. And for a year it still grows by 500% ...
I agree with you, but if I look every time at 1 etherium which I have and think that I could sell it earlier for $ 1500 and not for $ 500, as now, then I would go crazy. You need to keep yourself in hand, if you sold a coin, then do not look at its value any more so that you do not become disappointed in yourself.

Verge is still considered a prospect, it seems that there is no and now it is an ordinary coin, which you can calmly sell and buy something more dynamically and more interestingly. I will rather hodl than to regret because sometimes it is very sad when someone sells and the next day prices start going up and up.I know a friend who sold a coin for 500$and the same quantity of coin increased up to 5000$ in one week just after he sold his coin.He almost committed suicide over this issue.
You can spend a few months waiting for your coin price to go back to ATH. The risk is a little bit, it's worth it. You can increase your coins, tokens or whatever you want.
There is no two way about this. You either hold your coin or you regret not holding your coin. It is interesting to note also that there is thin line between profit and loss
Of course hodl because if you panic then there's a possibility that you regret later for your decision and action i guess its normal to have mistake to learn lesson and next time you need to be extra careful and think twice before you decide
Every mistake is a good lesson in our life. I'm sure this time you will get a better profit on the coins you are holding right now. Just cheer up because i think everybody experienced that too whether they are newbie or experience trader.
