i thought i was worth reading so I visit but wtf?

I had it in my mind Reuters is one of the popular network even today but hell with their pop ads? I have to close the tab for the ad covers the article and clicking (x) doesn't help.
was it just on my computer, how about on your end?   I switch to desktop reuters.com/article/idUKKBN0U60GQ20151223

I have adblocker installed on my phone and laptop, I've not seen an ad for years..... And that's exactly the way I like it.... Smiley

Up up and away, grab your moon boots everyone!  Grin
Haha hold on your balls gentlemen that means that here are only mens right lol thehalving is coming and that is not very good for the miners so if you are mining
you need to stop because the profit is nothing anymore so just lay low and chill with your coins sell them on the best moment.
Right. Checkout for a hike in price. The value is going low compared to other days. If it really required sell out uyour bit coins for a reasonable profit.waiting should bring you a too profit.

The halving effect could already be in the price when the price went up to $780 two weeks ago. I think it will not go higher.

Nope, twill be a new ATH in 2016....
And the resting point after the new ATH will likely be over 1k as the coin supply dwindles on the open market....
2017 onwards will be epic....
You might need to employ a few  ladies to hold onto your balls at that stage..... Low gravity on the moon can mean balls can bounce around unnecessarily....

LOl the halving is scaring people off but there is nothing going on you know the halving only affects the miners and most of the
users of bitcoins are not miners so dont be afraid that the halving will cause your balls.

(I shall now sing lustily the below song..that you can listen to with the above image in mind) .....which I think should be the official BTC anthem) Smiley (I hear screaming and curses..hmmmm)

The lyrics fit that's for sure (risk takers that we are in BTC and crypto!)

Danger/Never a Dull Moment/Fast Cars and Women (er oops sorry nerds here) fast ASIC's and Cheap Electric) etc

Well have to stop typing and 'hold balls again' price is now at $698 per BTC (damn  its windy)

How high will BTC go up to and after halving?  (how chilly will my nads get at this speed?)

Definitely. The halving is happening in a few weeks time and it's already pushing the price of BTC up by a lot. I hope though that the price can stay up, and there is no huge dump after the event.

Hold onto your testicles gentlemen! Squeeze them hard to make sure you get every last drop of BTCTC! Wink

You shouldn't be holding onto your balls, you should rather be holding onto your bitcoins! Waste of time holding onto your balls when you have the option to profit big time from this halving!

Price is soaring, but just be careful. Cash out when it's too high.

Ok, you let us know when it's "too high"..... Smiley

I was told to hold "onto" my balls... thought it'd be exciting. Didn't know that it'd be because they'd been repeatedly kicked, me, left writhing in pain.  Angry
Sorry cause i dont have balls, and besides i am already prepared for the bicoin halving..i need some money for me start in my small busineess in our community.

If you don't have balls or bitcoins your on the wrong thread lady, but don't worry about it too much...

Your best solution is to hold onto someone else's balls and don't forget to bring your  moonboots.... Smiley

Yep, horizontal trends are boring unfortunately and this is also reflected in all these 'new' threads about halving.
We have to simply wait until the resolution, but even then I wouldn't expect fireworks, if we do not have any extra developments.

what extra developments are you hoping to see this year that will bring the action back to the currently boring market? i really can't think of any beside the block size increase.
Yes, the agreement on the block size is to me the main point in agenda for this year. The whole issue takes a bit too long already and if there is no resolution in that matter, it may and will haunt us later on.
Unfortunately, apart from that there are not many interesting points to be discussed in the technical (developers) agenda. We are overflown by the 'halving' event and thus not much openly really going on.

The agreement on the bigger block size shows the unity of the community. It will help the adoption.

Holding onto ones balls requires some balls to begin with so already you  don't qualify, but nice try anyways....
This pretty much sums this thread all up. Nothing new to read in here, yet another new topic about halving. As correctly stated in here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-many-halving-threads-will-there-be-before-we-get-to-the-halving-1410022, we will have more than 100 new topics about halving, as most of the users in here don't know how to use search option.

people keep repeating everything because literally nothing is happening lately. i think by the time that the block halving has been completed, there will be close to 200 threads about it. searching for an already existing thread costs time while creating a new thread is done in a few seconds.

the block size increase is such a big development on its own that bitcoin will not need any more exciting things for a while in order to push the price up. it has gone on for long enough and should come to an end soon.

We don't need block size increase for now, segwitness is already working in testnet and has proved to mine a 1,5 MB block... things are looking great, Bitcoin just proved it can scale.
This plus all the halving expectation will make price go higher than we can imagine. A lot of people will sell way too soon when we hit $1,000, only to see it correct but quickly go up and go beyond $1,500 and at that point anyone that sold will be depressed.
Bitcoin belongs to $3,000+ at least in the next ATH.
