I mostly hodl until reaching my target. So, if you hodl and see all the price go down, just don't look at it, keep hodling because selling sometimes mean losing your fund too. Don't ever listen to some say stop-loss to buy some more at dips if you are not an experience traders/hodlers:D

Well, honestly speaking its the time of holding or buying BTC because now a days price is not in situation so that it can give you profit while selling your BTC so you need to try to buy more and more BTC now while if you have already BTC then you need to hold them for right time as price increased again then you need to sell your BTC.
In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%

Every man has different strategy in trading. Long term holding always positive every holders. Surely there make a chance get good profit at the end. About altcoin trding you should have experienced and skilled both of quality to hold it or sell it. Both have good point of view. But I agree that the decision will always be based on how you perceive to earn. For instance, if you choose to hold coins and wait until its value becomes higher, then it is good as long as you have other coins invested that give you enough earnings for your daily needs. On the otherhand, if you choose to sell, then that will also be good because you will also earn but not that much.
In my opinion, you need a plan or guidelines when you hold or sell your bitcoin and altcoin. My guide selling bitcoin and altcoins is I will sell it until my double or triple my profits. I patience waiting to increase the value of bitcoin/altcoin in the markets so that I can get more profits. My guide is holding them no matter what happened to the price of it. I will hold and. Like happen to the bitcoin it will raise again.
It is the time to hold not to sell. The price of bitcoin is very low now. But surely it will again pump till that we have to wait. I believe surely the price will go high in upcoming days. It is good to buy and hold it for long term.

If it comes to bitcoin market today. Just stay on hold because the price of bitcoin is predicted to rise up to 20k$ peak. Don't be carried away the dumped since there is no way btc won't bounce back this coming days. Always put in mind that if you gain profit less than 20% specially talking to bitcoin would be a small profit for you.
thanks for your advice guys, now i feel better. i hope there will bounch again as soon as possible, i can't stay with this for a years, all my funds is on Cryptocurrencys. Maybe i should start to be freelancers again.
Don't mention, look at the price and market now. Everything has been positive and green so it means that it's starting to recover now. Are you totally depending to crypto's? If you don't have any other source of income then it's going to be hard for you during these days.Try to find other source like you mentioned to be a freelancer again.
Buy some more if you have free money for invest now. otherwise, just hold your BTC and leave them behind to enjoy your life.

Just think of the people who sold their bitcoins on early year and they are happy with that but by the time goes on, they realize that what they have done is the worst thing they've done to their whole life. Don't be like them mate. Just calm down and everything will be back to normal.
Firstly I would like to say everyone has their own target and proportionate to make decision about sell and hold. but like as many other traders and holder says never fall into panic. and it is some of legendary member statement about, "Bloodbath? wait until it rise to be green lake"

I'm holding most of my tokens. I operate only with some of my capital. But when I make profit, I'm trading only with profit from signals
It's depend on the situation, if the situation is like right now it will be better if you sell all your coins because almost all cryptocurrency is going down right now. but if you still have a hope on cryptocurrency just hold it until the price back to the normal which is i think it will happen in 1 month.

Holding is better than selling, because the price will be higher most likely in the near future, so if you hold for some other months you will make good earning, and surely more than selling today. You can trade other altcoins and sell them because their prices are more volatile than BTC
holding is better for nowaday.. the holders make the bitcoin price get higher because they wont sell their bitcoin, and investors keep wonder to buy bitcoin to have it, if you hold your bitcoin, the price will keep raising. it will be balanced between the holders and reckless investors who want to buy bitcoin at whatever price
It's time to hold again. Selling now seems to be making us lose the potential profit we can achieve. Just be patient.

It's better to hold for now because selling in the big dump and buying when it bounces back doesn't seems smart plan right ? 
Price is decreasing again by ten billion an hour on CMC, so by tonight I reckon again we will go sub 450 billion market cap. The new high for Bitcoin is 10 k usd so expect it to crash to around the next support level of 7-7k USD. If then the markets do not rebound then we are going in for an historic dive back to 1.5k USD and 100 billion total marketcap. Chinese new year isn't until February the 15th so I don't see any rise of anything anytime soon, not until march, so either sell everything now and buy when it all tanks or just hold and hope in the spring there will be some kind of rebound.
hold or sell this depends on many factors. the first, you have to own strategy for each coins with own exit and entry points. After that, you also follow the market to get the news to give right decisions
