LMAO - that is like stating you can travel faster than the speed of light simply because you cracked it with some dodgy exe o_0

Anyhow, its definitely a wallet stealer or trojan to boot.

Maybe it is just randomness, time will tell.  That is some odd clustering of times the blocks were found, 6 in 6 minutes, a dry spell of 15 minutes then 7 in one 10 minute interval.  Never a dull moment in bitcoinland.

i know what WILL happen:

difficulty will increase at a rapid pace, far outweighing what BTC's trade for. people will be in the red when the electric bill comes in, and decide to sell off the hardware.

then:
a) miners will buy the hardware and put it back online. causing the big fish to eat all the little ones.
b) people will ignore the hardware sales due to the decreased profits, difficulty will slow, mining will be "profitable", allowing more little guys to join with a meager investment with long-term return.

if we do not see large jumps in BTC value in the next couple of months, mining will be a rather risky investment for anyone but only the most powerful operations.

Yeah, variance is variance, and luck is luck --

But I've NEVER seen the figures show 14 Thash/s.

There HAS to be some more power coming online --

Is this one of those bumps caused by a difficulty increase?

That's really strange. The 7 day average is between 7 and 10 thash/s.

Who has a mining cluster worth 3,000 ghash/s or nearly the entire size of deepbit (the largest pool in all of bitcoin mining)
Why did it only come online in the last 12 hours, instantly?

Really?!?!

8 Thash one day then 10 the next, now 14+ and climbing wth ?  Here comes the difficulty hammer and its going to hurt.

That's some serious hash power that came online.  it was under 10 Thash last time I looked.  Blocks are coming at the rate of 13.5 an hour.
