Hi, I am experimenting mining with my desktop computer for a few weeks now and I was wondering what feedback/recommendations you guys might have about this. I am using two Nvidia GPUs GTX 750 Ti and GTX 1050 Ti plus the CPU i7-4790.

I started with ETN Electroneum which was giving about 40coins/day 6 weeks ago ($6/day not too bad at that time), but now it is down to about 15coins/day. I also tried BCN Bytecoin and got about 100coins/day, DERO 2coins/day and just started to look into VERT.

Not looking to make a fortune with this setup but I was wondering what coins would be the most profitable for such a low/medium end setup? Any new coins that are easy to mine at home and have good potential down the road?

Thanks!
Most NeoScrypt-based coins for you, overally nvidia cards are great in this job. Also someone linked here whattomine.com <-- use this website, check daily and see what to mine, which coin is profitable or also you can choose new coins here or one you think that has a good future and hold it to wait for price rise. I think it's better, otherwise your mining won't be good. This way you'll get some money too with your hardwares.

I would recommend to you mining espers, it is very well minigs on Nvidia cards, this cryptocurrency great prospects, do not advise to sell everything at once, better to accumulate.

ETN is the best for CPU mining, but for GPU better is ETH.
You can check it on -

and

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-creditscrds-cpu-only-mining-argon2d-pow-masternodes-1944858
is even better for CPU-mining.

Not sure about the GPUs - WhatToMine shows some NeoScrypt-based coins as most profitable but I guess you'll have to do some research about that.

Here is a good calculator for coins similar to ETN (algo=cryptonight) https://www.cryptunit.com/

Try to find some coins that have some potential and not too high diff - I know it is easier said than done and it´s little bit of lottery. I was in similar situation few months ago and I choose ETN mining and that gave me some decent profit... Now I am experimenting with ARA mining but it´s for longer hold.

If you wanna take profit regularly by smaller amouts, I would go with ETN or ETC/ETH and not with high-risk coins.

I have been mining many different coins over the past year.  I started focusing on two about five months ago. ETH and BTG.  ETH is going to take you some time with those cards. I would find a pool that pays out .1 ETH. You may be able to mine that in a couple of months. BTG you can mine much faster, but of course, it is not worth near as much. Also, I have found I can mine BTG and still have enough leftover to play video games which is a nice bonus. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks. Indeed, ETN was until now the coin to go back to for me, and I might just mine it again after exploring other options. I will probably try the coins s0ftcorn recommended for a day or so each to see what potential they have. I'll report back once I'll have more data

This is really bad timing now, all prices for alts are going into red zone so it does not matter what coin to mine you will get low returns, also there is another question about new coins -you do not have any warranties that they will be one the exchange..
So I can advise to continue to mine elcetroneum but try to sell it on the pump, nit by current prices.

Well.. youll have to do some research yourself but you can try coins like Graft, Ravencoin or Minex.
Or just use a multialgo auto profit switching miner like zPoolminer.
