Hello everyone, this announcement is of interest to all CRDS holders.

Within 2 weeks (11th of November) a snapshot will be taken of all CRDS addresses for the creation of a new coin.
Make sure to pull out your coins from exchanges, have the coins in your own private wallet!

A project was recently started called Ankh which will give a new perspective to all the people holding Credits. Ankh has a 2-coin system, one will be Ankh Electrum (based on SEQ, so if you also have Sequence you can claim Ankh Electrum), and the other one will be Ankh Credit (based on CRDS). You will receive 1 0AC (Ankh Credit) for 1 CRDS. There is no need for burning CRDS or sending them anywhere, a snapshot only requires you to have the Credits in your wallet.

Now, our rebranding is separate from Ankh, currently Credits is set to transform into Bitcreds therefore all CRDS holders will become owners of both Ankh Credits and Bitcreds.
Make sure to have the coins in your wallet and not on exchanges, I'm mentioning it again as it is very important!

You can join the Ankh Discord with this invite link: https://discord.gg/Jjg2zcr

Bitcreds will not require a snapshot as currently most changes will be of visual identity and there is no set date for the transition from Credits to Bitcreds so you don't have to worry about that.

This is interesting:

im using OSX HighSierra in a MacPro 5,1 2010 built in 2011 "same as 2012".
1x CPU tray = x5690 = i7-990x = w3690 "Westmere"

its a 2nd Gen i7, x58 chipset, 1366 socket.
32GB 1333MHz ddr3 ECC Registered.

internal Wallet mining does: ~28kH/s.
power consumption is higher than 8th gen CPUs but still interesting.

Macs Fan Control 1.4.12
CPU A core from PCECI 74ºC
CPU A Heatsink 43ºC
CPU A Diode 60ºC
IOH Diode 50ºC

vs.
Same Machine, Windows 8.1x64 "Bootcamp6.1"

CPU gets hotter, and Hashes are less:
~25.6KH/s Internal Wallet miner.

Macs Fan Control 1.4.12
CPU A core from PCECI 76ºC
CPU A Heatsink 46ºC
CPU A Diode 63ºC
IOH Diode 50ºC

Same Fan Settings. Same Ambient Temp.

vs.
i3-8100 "the i3-8100 stepping B0 is the only CPU compatible with all Boards & all Bios for the z370."
and decided to test it...

temps at 100%, watercooled ~44°C
Fan Speed Silent. 800rpm~1300rpm.

Argon2d Speed: 26KH/s. External Miner.
Quote
cpuminer-avx2.exe -a argon2d-crds -t 4 --no-getwork --no-redirect -o stratum+tcp://crds.suprnova.cc:2771 -u -p

vs.
Dual AMD Opteron 6386 "The Biggest & Fastest in the 6000 series." G34 socket makes:
80KH/s sse4.2 external miner.
64KH/s internal wallet miner.
@ 3.16GHz. with Supermicro snk-0050AP4 cooler "the biggest 4u cooler for G34 socket, also needs optional G34 adapter", with Dynatron A14 "3U", needs faster fan settings in the Bios.
Temps must be lower than 55°C or the CPU's will Throttle down to 2.8GHz or less.
Tyan s8232 Board. "Needs 6128 CPU if Board needs to update the Bios to detect 63xx CPU."

32-Cores "No HyperThreading" but the miner must have additional options...
Or won't detect properly the amount of Threads and Cores, CPU load will be less.
Those results are at 100% CPU load 32-cores, if Not, settings are wrong.
Quote
--cpu-affinity 0xFFFFFFFF -t32
Argon Miner must be forced to work with 32-Cores.

But I think leaving 1x out is better if also GPU mining,
Replace any F with E, and -t31
***

vs.
i7-970 Windows8.1x64 Credits-1.3
2nd ge" i7, x58, lga 1366 socket,
Similar to w3670 = x5670 = x5675
vs. i7 1st gen, Transistor size is smaller 45ns vs. 32nm, has 6-cores vs. 4-cores, more Cache , and new AES instructions.

With external miner & pool = 26Kh/s. SSE42, AVX crashed. ">2.1KH/s per thread."
With internal Wallet miner = 23KH/s.

HyperTheading=On. 3.3GHz.
Watercooled with CoolerMaster Liquid Pro 120 has 58~60°C, depends on ambient.
NB 62°C
SB 56°C

vs.
i7 7700K does < 32KH/s with HyperTreading Active, "external miner I guess can't remember, and sold the cpu"
HT turned off does ~23400 H/s.
in Windows8.1x64 latest build.

Credits v1.4.0.0 has now been released!

This update fixes instability/forking issues caused by consensus not being reached on masternode payments for some blocks. From block 665,000 onwards should a MN reward consensus not be reached the block will be able to minted without any MN reward.

This is a compulsory update so please ensure that all of your nodes/wallets have been updated prior to block 665,000.

Binaries, upgrade instructions and the latest bootstraps can be found at https://github.com/CRDS/Credits/releases/tag/v1.4.0.0

v1.4.0.0 is now ready for anyone that wants to compile it themselves. I'll post another notification as soon as the binaries have been compiled by Zynx.

The issues we've been seeing with CRDS forking is due to a consensus not being reached on which masternode should receive the reward. In our original code, Spork 8 determined whether or not a MN reward per block was enforced. As Spork 8 hasn't been implemented, that setting was false. This meant that should a consensus not have be reached, a block would be minted without a MN reward.

A few versions ago, we hard coded the MN reward enforcement on every block which is what is causing our stability issues. Obviously it's better to forgo a MN reward every once in a while rather than causing disruption to the chain. You can search your own debug.log for when this has occurred - "ERROR: Invalid Masternode payment detected".

The original code using spork 8 would send a warning to debug.log and mint the block without a MN reward (some of you may remember seeing some of these blocks a long time ago).

Right now I'm just finalising a pull request for branch 1.4.0.0 on GitHub. This version reverts the enforcement of the MN reward every block and again uses Spork 8 to toggle this setting (currently set to false or not enabled). The change will occur as a hard fork at block height 675,000 in v1.4.0.0. The upgrade will obviously be compulsory.

The Credits Explorer is now correct and locked to known good nodes to prevent it connecting to forks in future. Please check each of your node's block height to ensure it is the same as the block count shown at https://explorer.crds.co

If it is different, please install the latest bootstrap using the instructions at https://crds.co/documents/credits-bootstrap-instructions.pdf (Make sure you scroll down to the right section for installing on existing wallets).

Credits was removed from CryptoBridge some months ago. Buying and selling there is just losing you money as you can't withdraw CRDS.

Trading is live on https://cratex.io/index.php?pair=CRDS/BTC

@everyone Please check each of your node's block height to ensure it is the same as the block count shown at https://crds.co/calc/

Many supporters wait for huobi, bittrex or binance)
Sooner or later it will happen.

i think it hard to hit big  exchange like huobi, bittrex or binance

need to focus at cryptopia,crex24 is better

the current trading performance in cb is not looking good =

so getting listed in big exchanges is very far from its horizon. i guess

Update
Despite contacting DEV nearly everyday, and having numerous conversations, i still cannot withdraw my 0.03 BTC. The suggestion is that "it" has got the maths wrong, so my balance somehow isnt correct, so it can't be fixed......)I've only deposited 2 coins, and traded 1 in 1 go, and the other many times, both for BTC)
Dev had agreed to re-imburse me directly, on a particular date, but then that date came and went, and finally dev said that the "Balance" we had agreed on, was incorrect again, and that he could only pay in 3 lumps (based on a smaller amount). That was days ago, and still not recieved any BTC. (all ther withdrawls also blocked).
Unfortunately there seems to be a growing numer who are having same issues.
I think any Exchange that cannot cover even 0.03 BTC is probably one to avoid.
Having spoke at length with the Dev, i am undecided as to a scam, or just someone compltely out of their depth, either way, i would think very carefully about deposisting any coins there.

saw their enmanet's invitation to every project launched here in btctalk, but i really doubt their capability as an exchange.
as you said 0.03BTC should not be a big deal for an exchange. but why are they not resolving your case?

Hi guys,

Just a heads up. I don't usually write things like this, but i am having ongoing issues with this exchange.

I joined enmanet a while ago, and it seemed like an OK exchange.
However, whilst i have been able to deposit and trade successfully, i have only been able to make 1 withdrawl of BTC. That was the 13th May 2019.
When i went to make my second withdrawl i got a withdrawal confirmation email, but when clicking on the link, i got the following error "Withdraw error: Your withdrawals have been disabled. Please contact support."

The only support is via a box, which says "submitted" buy i never get a ticket number, or via "Discord".
I have asked many times in "Discord" what the issues are, and days go by without any acknowledgement, then eventually i am told the withdrawals are working, and to PM "IVAN" which i do, and yet i still cannot withdraw BTC.

I have stopped sending coin there, since i dont know "when", or even "if"  then will allow BTC withdrawls ( i have lost potentially 0.01 BTC a day due to this)
I don't know what issues they are having, but be wary.
They still seem to be adding new listings, so looks like the focus is on something else, not fixing fundamental issues.

Hopefully they will resolve things, cos they seem like an interesting place.
J

Thanks for the feedback, will not recommend this exchange until we hear from their admins confirming they've fixed the issue(s).
