You mention a post with 200 bitcoin to make a point, especially with the current price around $100k - it's a bit of a deception really.
For real? Deception really!
I mentioned in the very second line the exact amount he deposited and won. Look carefully. I have just quoted the exact words as they were said in the past.
Bitcoinm deposited around 250$ and won 25000$ playing dice.

This forum is full of wonders here is one of them;
@Stunna launched a new casino Prime Dice on 18 May 2013. He was just a newcomer, registered on 14 Feb 2013 (What a date to join Grin) to this forum with very little trust and credibility.
On the very first day of launch one player named Bitcoinm deposited around 250$ and won 25000$ playing dice.
Now @Stunna could have just refused to pay (a million excuses exist) and stopped his casino. After that, he could have registered a different account and rebranded his casino to start again like many new casinos are doing nowadays.
Bitcoinm even offered him to pay in installments (those days lol);
Cashed out just above 200 bitcoins. I feel slightly bad raining on such a new ventures parade, so I've allowed Stunna to have 2 days to pay me off. He was more than happy to pay in one go but I refused. The whole transaction will be completed over next 48 hours. I have already received over 40%, rest will come soon.

Thanks for the great service. I am looking forward to playing in the future. By the way, Stunna, would you mind messeging me your current supply of Bitcoins? I'm quite intrigued.

He got paid in full, no excuses whatsoever. Though he was not comfortable and expressed his emotions;
Thanks for being so reasonable, when you receive those please update your post. I'm in awe at the moment don't really know how to react to this. The fact that you started with 2 BTC and managed to make that much is certainly scary. Have to stay positive though! Certainly a rocky start, here's looking to a more positive future though.
Congratulations on your winnings!

but still, he did the right thing and showed a tremendous amount of honesty and the rest is history as we all know how much stake.com is worth today (or not Grin).

Moral of the Story; Honesty Will Pay a Million-Fold More Than What You Can Steal With Dishonesty.

You mention a post with 200 bitcoin to make a point, especially with the current price around $100k - it's a bit of a deception really. Back then it was worth much less, more like a thousand. Most big casinos are well aware that occasionally they will have to pay off large gamblers, but do so without question as they know the money will often be deposited back within a short time frame. It is not just about being honest, it simply makes correct business sense if you want to make a lot of money over the long term to treat your customers correctly. If you do there is every chance that they might introduce friends who are even more profitable.

Just found out there was this story in the past and it's a positive moran message for any casino businessman.

Honesty will bring greater positivity and look at how much they have grown over the years in the casino industry, so the important thing is that when a legitimate player wins without cheating then the casino has the right to give them their winnings.

Thanks again for sharing this story...

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
Another moral of the story is that, even if a person seem to look successful financially from dishonesty, in the future the consequences of that action will linger and have more damaging effects on reputation and their business.
This just shows that no matter what many businessmen would tell you a successful business is not always just about working smart. Sometimes working with genuine purpose and honesty can make you reach so far in life and your customers will always come back to you because of your honesty.
Certainly agree on this. Sometimes working smart is not enough, but being truthful and sincere to others are more valuable that would bring out the real success in business. The positive result would not be visible immediately, but in the long run those who were honest and true to their customers stay longer and flourish more, while those who succeed from dishonesty, the effect won’t be seen long term.

Sometimes we need to do fact checking before believing into certain stories like these random scenario, particular on honesty of a person. However, this kind of situation will raise up a good image as depiction towards the casino itself.
Good thing if this confirms a true and verified story from their end but nowadays please don't get easily fooled by what the review of other said. Most of the time, scams and fraud will just use those good thoughts in order to catch their preys.

The story happened during 2013 which faking customers win is mot popular due to low competition that time. I remember only few reliable dice game available at that time and being honest in the long run will surely established your reputation.

Besides, doing some background check on the account shown that he is indeed a gambler from different casino.

Also, Primedice proven their worth since they really are trusted even until now.

Metawin is one of the new casino that follows this philosophy. They recently experienced hacked that resulted to 4M$ loss yet they still continue to operate like nothing happened despite their casino is still new.
Metawin is badass for carrying on with business like nothing ever happened. If they could be kind to share some information about their customers, I can bet that no one left because they trusted the casino more.

Thanks for sharing this story. I’m not aware that PD has a rocky start like this because I started in crypto when PD reputation was already established for being reputable dice site.

AFAIK they also experienced a hack/cheat with some user that manage to cash out huge amount of money yet they still continue to operate.

All their dedication and honesty works since until now PD has loyal customers despite they already Stake which is one of the most popular crypto casino.

what a good story and shows how much different the world has become if this happened in today's world, the casino would investigate the player and even accuse him of cheating but as we see from your story that is now what happened and to give credit to the player he was confident enough to trust the casino to slowly give him his earned winnings and was not impatient and rude

what has happened to our world and why distrust and fraud are so heavily normalized these days? it is almost too good to be true if you encounter someone like this in recent time

Even in exits, it could give you a good reputation too.
One of them is Yolodice, they exited respectfully, waiting for gamblers and investors to cash out their money before they fully erased their gambling site. We cannot underestimate cryptocurrency supporters, we are mostly trustworthy people but are just being stained by those who are scamming others in exchange for cryptocurrency. I don't put them in the leagues of true crypto supporters, they are just the viruses of this industry.
What he did there was the start of a spark in crypto gambling and look at how much it grew in just years after it. Crypto gambling is one of the highest when it comes to money movements.

Well, I can say this about this.. The universal problem is that fraud is the norm, and an honest way of doing business (in this case, a casino) is perceived almost as an exceptional event, the greatest rarity, a rarity. Whereas in fact it should be exactly the opposite. And once it was the other way around. The moment people stopped giving religion the highest priority in their lives, that's when they decided that they could commit any act with impunity. And now we see the result. The payment of a large win is perceived as an extraordinary event, and common methods of violating obligations (refusing to pay) as something ordinary.
Well, in this particular case, let me express my unconditional respect for the person you are describing, who has honestly fulfilled his obligations.

Sometimes such stories are played out specifically to attract customers and get a good reputation for the casino. I have seen many false reviews from "happy" customers participating in some scams. But your story speaks of the serious intentions of the casino owners. Being in the first steps of its development, a good business should always act honestly, although it must be admitted that the first steps are always difficult. If you add luck here, then the entire development of the casino turned out to be successful, since the owners, as we see, were well-prepared and understood what kind of business they were opening. Without solid capital, it is difficult to start a business where money should flow like a river.
