If you realy want to speculate on cryptocurrencies then the easiest and safest way for you would be not to trade cryptocurrencies lol.
It doesn't really matter on which market you are trading you can easily trade on forex, set e higher leverage and get more money if you want to risk. In that case there is no significant difference between crypto and fiat.
At the same time altcoins mostly are in deep shit so there is not much sense in hodling.

I think binance still has a top tiers exchange in terms of many alts that you can choose, liquidity, good support, etc.

My suggestion is just stick on binance, because you already know the exchange yourself, you know about kyc and many other things? They will be back soon I think. Just don't fomo.

Binance is reimbursing all the lost funds through their SAFU fund which enhances their reliability and they must have already upgraded their security measures which is why this is still one of the best crypto exchanges out there.

Don't leave your funds on exchanges though people.

Yes it's true binance got hacked and we are not expecting that to happen, more than 7000 Bitcoins were stolen. But as for now you can buy Bitcoin from any exchange you like and ride the bull. Because this is a chance which we are waiting for so long. We do not even know what actually triggered this bull Run maybe it's Bitcoin whales are maybe it is something else. But we are making profits.

Binance includes the best exchange, lots of coins that go up and down. Buy coins that you think are good and potential. Do not get wrong and lag behind the moment.

As far as I know, depositing and withdrawing funds from Binance will be resumed today, May 14th. This was stated by the head of this exchange Changphen Zhao in his twitter channel. So, you can wait a bit and start trading on Binance today.
Right mate because Anytime now binance will resuming for business Again, and Asking for the support of their users to help them for recovery from the huge loss of $40 million from the hAckers .though I am a little bit of hesitant from the exchangers that has been a victim of hacking as just like MyEtherWallet experiences multiple hacks in.a row

I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading.

I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information.

I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance)

I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment

Thanks in advance! More power to you guys!  Wink

If you are going to invest in bitcoin, you have to think long-term, and the market tends to reward those who HODL - hold for the very long term. Also, because there has been a parabolic run-up based on FOMO, there is the possibility of a correction or retracement. The focus should be on the long term, in my view.

We are still far the bull run we all have been expecting, at least for the price. I'm sure you know that Bitcoin's last all-time-high was around $20,000. So there's a lot of time in our hands to get in and join the bandwagon towards another high next year. Difficult to advise you on what trading platform you should used. Binance said that they will resume, deposits/withdrawals already, so if you are still comfortable with them, then at least stick and see how it goes for you. Goodluck and welcome back!!!

Why don't you use CMC to choose which site you would go next ,
I know that the CMC doesn't have a good real time volume but you could use it to choose which trading platform you would use since there are so many trusted platform out there not just binance.

Binance will resume soon and I think it's still better to trade and invest there. It isn't late for you to ride on the bull run.
The market is not yet totally experiencing the bull run so you could still buy and accumulate bitcoin. It isn't too late for you.

someone told you it's too late, well there's no late in investment as you can see it's not just a pure bull that pumps up you can see that while it's pumping up there's always some downs in it from that you can make an entry point and still can ride the bull market.

Well you can make your own research about entry points during bullish market and earn.

Many analysts are now telling us that soon Bitcoin can be able to breach the $10K level so if you are a risk-taker and will ride it now you can still make a good profit...and if before the end of this year Bitcoin will be so powerful to triumph over the $20K then your portfolio can be performing well. Now, this is not a financial advice and you have to decide based on what you know and your research. The Binance hacking is not affecting the exchange platform and the whole industry evidence by the no-dump performance by BNB.

You are late maybe because Bitcoin has rise up already by more than 100% compare to its price last February but if you want to buy Bitcoin and hold it then anytime is a good time to buy. Just be ready with the risks if you buy. Many believed that the bull run has just started and you can ride into it anytime.

I also experienced some problems withdrawing my
Btc fund in Binance because of the hacking issues. Thanks for informing us that it will resume today.
Anyway OP, it is not still late in the bull run. Have you heard about margin trading? If you'll aware of that, whether bull run or bear, you will still add some bitcoin in your balance or you'll earn some profits. It is complicated to understand but if you are interested. Thougj it is not suited for a starter but if you will understand everything, try to read this.

You can still buy btc, try other exchanges like coinbase. Always remember that trade at your own risk.
Goodluck!

Not yet late for the next bull since we have not surpassed ATH yet (19.8K) .
Wait for a good entry point and not get allured by the recent btc run. Wait for a correction, btc will always need to "rest" to gain momentum again.

The market had grown in a short span of time. And I think you are not yet late. You can still buy your BTC. As for the exchange there are still other platforms where you can buy such as bittrex, kukoin, coinexchange and a lot more. Just choose  depending on your preferencs and which is more convenient alternative for binance.
