Haven't you been aware of that exchange?
Anyone dealing with them is at a very high risk of either losing their funds or getting involved with one of the issues that commonly associated with them, such as 2FA verification issues, Email confirmation code issue or failure to login back to the exchange after depositing funds. That's not just all, you would face additional issues like fake trading volume and also involving in pump and dump of coin, this made me totally forget about this exchange no matter what token is being listed over I would rather wait for it to get listed in any other reputable exchange than to involve in that scamming exchange.

I got 80k usd in that place just for the apr itself. I'm worried. My 3rd time getting hacked. Cryptopia and tradesatoshi..
Are you able to withdraw? It seems that this exchange is slowly turning into a scam like hitbtc.

Lots of people cant withdraw and facing missing funds in their portfolio

Well, I see, not all altcoins can be listed on Binance. By the way, I think we should just use it at a certain point and get out of there right away. It's unlucky for users who have properties there. But surely someone still considers it as their regular exchange.
On the other hand, are exchanges really vulnerable to hacking? Sometimes when an exchange notices being hacked, many people assume they are defrauding customers and taking customers' money.
I think they see a lot of accusations so they think they are vulnerable to hacking or can say they often withhold customer money hence the mentioned exchange has a shady exchange.
Against all exchanges will definitely be incessant against hacking, including currently hotbit is experiencing hacks currently even suspended in the next few weeks to restore, but is there anyone here who is still safe with their funds?
Well, here I am concerned about a vulnerable exchange with hacks.
I believe that the more profit the exchange generates, the more it will be able to invest in security, so I don't believe that these exchanges have really been hacked, for me all this is a movement to steal users or something else that I don't know, I think I'll never know

it's confusing that there are always people who use small and shady-looking exchanges.
Its not that some people wanted to use those exchange. I myself using hotbit before, cause some of my tokens haven't listed on those big exchange like Binance and I have no choice sometimes since the volume is more bigger on hotbit compared to some exchange such as dex where it wss listed. There are excuses to using it even for me I know its not a good exchange. Just lack choice sometime.
That is not a good choice so you have to choose the Hotbit exchange, sometimes we get airdrop or bounty tokens that are often listed on low exchanges like Hotbit so we inevitably have to exchange them there so this is our choice at that time.
I for day trading or long term I do not choose Hotbit because I see many cases occur, but to sell tokens for a moment for me this is no problem even with a few withdrawals, and this is often said to be a shady exchange.
this is very true, the listings on large exchanges are very expensive, so the teams end up at first listing their projects in smaller exchanges

therefore, current constraints may stem from this problem.
I'm not sure whatever's happening with Hotbit is the reason for OP's dilemma.  It looks as though Hotbit either doesn't know what it's doing with the coin in question or is simply jerking OP and the rest of those people around.  And I haven't a clue as to what the truth is, but I suspect we'll know soon enough as to whether this is an exit scam or a real hack.

I haven't searched, so I'm going to ask:  is there a lot of information available about Hotbit, e.g., where they operate out of?  They seem like a small, unregulated exchange that can probably just run off with everyone's money without any regulatory body trying to track them down....but I could be wrong.  I'm hoping for the best for their customers' sake.
I think it is not, because my post was created before the alleged hacker

Yes that's true. But I stopped some social campaign for now as trading is more profitable. Maybe I'll hunt those good projects again on Altcoin bounty. But the point is hotbit exchange still not good, in my experience they reduced coins on withdrawal too high.

Sometimes when an exchange notices being hacked, many people assume they are defrauding customers and taking customers' money.
You will noticed that more often. But the thing is there are more complained before even the hacked happened. Means they are really having problem on their system.

I fear that Hotbit will exit scam soon. If anyone is lucky to login the site again, they should withdraw their funds as soon as possible. There stories of having cyber attacks and Hotbit's Announcement on Emergency Maintenance often turns into an a reason for exit scam for shady exchanges.

This is a big type of signal for Hotbit traders, so stay away from this exchange. We have seen before that many exchanges have left the market with different types of excuses and many traders have lost their funds in those exchanges. And the Hotbit itself is not honest, so nothing good can be expected from them. Their exchanges are still in maintenance mode, traders unable to withdraw their funds now. When the exchanges go live, it will be clear whether they are really safe or not. If they do it as a drama then bad news is waiting for Hotbit users.

For several years I have been selling my tokens received from the bounty on this exchange, there have never been any problems. But how infuriated me their HUGE COMMISSIONS, they rob their users. I don't want to gloat, but they should close their exchange or rebrand with new conditions.

Gosh, almost all my socmed is flooded by Hotbit victims' rants. Thank God I never trusted this exchange. It run quite long but I never have the courage to use such I only trust Binance.

I won't be surprise if the next exchange to die soon is Latoken. They don't even bother to check the coin their listing.

Lucky to have traded all my coins here, the old saying always apply, do not keep your coins in exchange I tried to login but this is what the homepage is showing right now,

We have a problem, please hold on
Connection timed out
The initial connection between Cloudflare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.

Let's see if they are going to go live in a few days, or they will do an exit scam, but if they do I also recommend that you take your coins out here, until they fully secure their site, but don't make any exchange your wallet to hold all your coins.

OP the support was toying with you. It seems their just pulling of delay about the issue and forget about it.
Sure, they're just trying to prolong time, their announcement indicated that the attack was averted, therefore, I believe they need time for maintenance and recovery. It is the scenario I want to happen most, because it is the only way their customers won't lose money.

Even though the big exchanges are always there and give their clients maximum support, it's confusing that there are always people who use small and shady-looking exchanges.

They are a shady exchange ever since. They requiring people with lots of requirement and even KYC.

Like the one shared above. They are experiencing a hacked over their system. My friend have some tokens and even stablecoin that they don't know if still can be recovered as the exchange socials and support have been stop and paused.

I like Kucoin and Binance, that have insurance or fund to cover the loss I'm jot sure Hotbit if they can cover it. Maybe it will go to the same result on other exchanges that close.

Unsure of what's going on and what they're trying to do, you're not the only one struggling. But they had an announcement to their users about their being hacked, therefore, current constraints may stem from this problem. Maybe will they solve it for you soon? I'm just posting because I see information from them, this doesn't mean I'm protecting them or anything else. See image below
