After 10 years we can finally consume our bitcoins

This is a positive news for all of crypto lovers. It is a great way to promotion of crypto currency like bitcoin. If big big hotels are starting accept bitcoin as their paymnt method it will be great for us . may be it would be happen in some years.

I think I've seen one news a month ago about hotels accepting bitcoin. I actually think that is good promoting for crypto currency market. If those big hotel chains also start accepting, we can see that bitcoin demand may increase faster.

From a hotel point of view, accepting Bitcoin could be very profitable. Let us say I own a hotel and at 18:00 hrs 20% of my rooms are unlet, then someone walks in and says I want a room for the night but I don't have cash but will you take Bitcoin? Then to me I would most certainly take any cryptocurrency (so long as it's listed) as once the night is over that potential revenue has gone. Indeed I would look at barter trade as well.

It will be a progressive idea if hotels accept bitcoin for payments. But i doubt its acceptability in different countries.

Using also bitcoin as payment in hotel is one strategy to cater and attract guests and customers who are into crypto world, since they will be encouraged to try the hotel's service using their own digital money.
I know most of us want to try this thing...

In Japan many hotels accept BITCOIN for payment still from 2017

it seems not only in America alone, in my country there are also hotels, cafes and restaurants that accept payments using bitcoin
but after the finance minister issued a decision, a few days ago
which prohibits bitcoin as a means of payment, there is no longer any hotels, cafes and restaurants that use bitcoin services
It is unfortunate

If a hotel starts receiving bitcoin of course one day many other companies also accept bitcoin instead of hotels that may accept bitcoin as currency and as a means of transaction.

Bitcoin goes the same way that PayPal used to be. At first it seems strange to many but it gradually becomes a part of our life. Expedia travel agency accepts bitcoins when booking hotels, booking airline tickets and renting cars.
Recently I contacted the Booking but there's no such payment function in bitcoins.

That's cool , not sure whether other hotels will start to accept bitcoins too because of the trend, but I hope they will. Time will show.

Only that the high volatility of the price of bitcoin can cause problems with determining the price. In this case, a stable price could increase the number of places you can pay with bitcoin.

Well this is a welcome move. If hotels start accepting bitcoins then throughout world we can expect a similar change gradually. This will mean that a person travelling from one part of the country to another need not worry about exchanges. Further, the burden of carrying cash can be cut.

However, we must remember that the value of Bitcoin is based on the value of fiat currencies. That is one bitcoin is worth x amount of dollar, y amount of pound, z amount of yen or rupee. So the conversion will always be there depending upon the place where the expenditure is happening. Though one will be free from the currency conversions in the exchanges, one is sure to convert the 'value' of the charge in terms of bitcoins. But still, the payment in bitcoins will be the same for all people and this is a progressive step for all.

If we can extend this idea to commodities and products, again we are faced with the same issue of what will be the worth of the product. The original expenditure and the price set for that particular product needs to be converted into bitcoin value and the price needs to be set. This opens us a way to aspire for a uniform price tag for a product all through the world. There could be a paradigm shift in the markets.

As of now it does appear essential to hold on to fiat currencies to simply estimate the value of a good or a product or a service in terms of bitcoins. Further, we are holding the value of the bitcoin primarily in USD and from USD all countries can convert the value in terms of their respective currencies. So for the bitcoin world, the value would appear the same anywhere in the world. Let us hope that this will simply expand and that we have a uniform currency code valued against a standard for all the world citizens making transactions far easier and transparent.

I think it's great news and I can not wait for more like that. Bitcoin is becoming a universal currency. People have seen the possibilities that Bitcoin carries. In many areas of life, bitcoin allows for convenient decision making almost immediately. Do you want to go on holiday? You pay by bitcoins for the hotel. Are you hungry ? you pay them for a pizza and so on and so forth. Isn't that fantastic ?

Bitcoin is now quite well known as the online payment processor. Bitcoin is used in many works. Hotel payments are still less in bitcoin. However, it is expected to increase rapidly as soon as possible. Many websites accittate Bitcoin to domain / hosting center. All things will come slowly.

I hope that this move from Las Vegas would make a domino effect and trigger the other places to accept bitcoin as a way of payment which would rise the prices and demand.

I haven't heard those hotels that accepting already bitcoin as a payment but if I'm just late on this news and it is already happening in O'Day will this is a great news for a bitcoin society and to bitcoin itself. It only indicates that bitcoin is keep on progressing though bitcoins price are keep on fluctuating at least the society today are learning to appreciate bitcoin.

This is great because in the summer, i want to go out and explore other countries and this is a great deal for me since i will stay at hotels. I will definitely try this to verify if this thing is true because i love to just use my bitcoin like a regular currency so i can prove to other people that it doesn't have much difference from bitcoin compare to the regular currency.
