Yea well, what I understand with your posts is that slota has a higher house edge than any other gambling game. I just fancy playing slots because I like the graphics specially those video slots. My favorite is Jekyle and Hyde. Cheesy

But for dice game house edge only affected in a long run and when you are using some strategy. If you are just manual bet I dont think that  house edge really affect you.

This is simply not true. Even if you just make only one bet, a 1% house edge would bring your winning chance 1% lower. For example for x2 bet, it becomes 49.5% rather than 50%, making your expected return to be always only 99% of your wagered.

Hey guys, I was wondering how does gambling in slots works? I have played last night and unfortunately got lost 0.1 BTC because I got greedy wanting to get more profit. (I really can't still move on from this loss. Sad ) LOL.

I mean, is slots games also provably game? Does it have a house edge or something? When it comes to provability of winning, is it jut like a dice game or worst?

I'd say play dice instead of slots, as dice has a much lower house edge than slots.

The only advantage I can think of when playing slots is that you can get some visuals; in dice you can only see numbers while slots is more entertaining with it's exciting visuals.

But for slot you can suddenly hit a jackpot with just one roll too, although you played with house edge although it is high I am sure you can get a good profit too

Most of the fancy slots are not provably fair, maybe its because they have lot of elements/small-games which are part of it and the house edge should be mentioned at the site you're playing at.

The gambling sites could easily include some visuals of rolling a dice, but this would greatly reduce the speed of the rolls and thus the profit of the dice site.

The same way slots can be made non visual with only numbers, but because we are so used to it, nobody would like to see something like that.

The way I've seen it programmed is like this: machines have a return rate.
For example, if everyone puts 1BTC, the machine will keep 30% of that and return 70% to the players.
A game like blackjack have a return rate of about 99-99.5% depending on the rules and assuming the player plays perfectly.

What most people have a hard time understanding is that many players can put everything they have (lose 100%). This happens often since most people can't manage their bankroll properly (although there's no profitable way to do it statistically).
Followed by a single one who plays and win many times his investment (anywhere from 1 to 1000x or even more).

There are some provably fair slots, such as the one on satoshidice, coinroyale and crypto-games.net, but there are also a lot of non provably fair slots out there. I am not interested in slots very much and so I have not much idea about its house edge.

The house edge varies with every website. Most of the website do mention the house edge of the slots, infact for any games. To my information house edges ranges from 1% to 4% for the slots which I have played.Don't think it gets lower than that. There a nice article you might wish you read on reddit about house edges in gambling https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinGambling/comments/36z3wi/which_is_the_lowest_house_edge_fair_bitcoin_casino/
