How would a deal like this go about sending the BTC and getting the legal documents signed?

Preferably in person and with lawyers at both sides Wink

If anyone interested, this house is still in sale.

I think Todamont is right, you need to include more photos of the surrounding area.  The photos that you have included so far, look like its in a ghetto.

If that is true, and it is in a really crappy area.  I wouldn't offer you 5 pesos.

We will go to visit the town soon and take photos, we don't have photos of the sourronding area and Street View isn't available there. The town is very nice and the house is in the center of the town.

some links of the town: http://www.mexconnect.com/articles/3010-jerez-zacatecas-a-magical-town

Google maps approx. Near to Jardin Juarez (there are no Street view)

Nice house, looks like It needs some sort of restoration, good luck selling.

It does need a good restoration, it can be adapted to a Hostel or a Restaurant too, or any related tourism bussiness

House is pretty run down, possibly to the point of being beyond salvageability. If you are selling for the land/views, you should include better pictures of the land and views, maybe a diagram of the layout.

^ What are you talking about? Mexico is a great place. They have Cancun. And also some of the richest people reside there. Of course, all their wealth is in cash, drugs, or guns. Obviously never in a bank.

http://www.blueroadrunner.com/ownprop.htm here is explained how you, as foraigner, can own a land or property in Mexico.

The only restricted zones in Mexico are 100KM from borders and 50KM from Coast.

thats interesting, you need to be a citizen to own property but don't need to be a citizen to own the land

what are they protecting? I just always assumed the property requirement was about the land

The transaction should be completed in person and with lawyers at both sides. If you like to see the property please set a date, or if you like we can take video of the place.

Thanks.  This looks great.

Remind me if I missed this.  But how would the transaction be completed?   At closing, do we meet in person?   Or do you use escrow?

I would like to look at the property, but I will be on the east coast for the next 3 weeks.

I will keep my eye on this.  Thanks!

You can see my properties @   www.statelesstrade.com   and I accept bitcoin and litecoin as well.

sorry, what price in btc?

He wants for this house 80.000 USD and that is something like 175 BTC. When 1 BTC = 456 USD.

That, we would pact the price in bitcoins at the time of purchase

Sorry for my english.

We sell the land and the price is for the land only, not for the house. Because, as you can see, the house is in bad conditions.

You don't need to be a Mexican citizen to own the land, by the laws of Mexico needs to be a warranty deed to sell any property.

Any doubts you have you can tell us.
