The way the mod (porchy) explained it, that is the conclusion I came to. I had not been on the site for more than a week. This is a link to the start of are telegram chat but I was promptly muted

https://t.me/LunaFi_Official/31593

He also deleted alot of comments and really good questions that he had no answer for in the chat of members that were upset with the way he was handling it.

wait, just to be clear, every time a gambler bets using BTC no matter how big or small the bet is a $0.02 will be credited to the gambler's account? so all the gamblers that bet using BTC on their gambling site got banned because of the bug even though they weren't abusing the bug? also, just curious, how long did the bug last before they found out about it?

Housebets.io is a scam. I was givin restricted access simply because the housebets shotty development team failed to realize a bug when you wagered with BTC. $0.02 US was credited back to my balance. When confronting staff or a mod in discord or telegram I get muted simply because the chat agrees that I and several others shouldn't be held accountable for their mess ups. The mod (poochy) only reply is simply "your bets were risk free" not true, if I place a $2.00 wager im still assuming 99.5% of the risk. Housebets.io is the epitome of everything wrong in the crypto market and the reason why median class citizens won't provide liquidity in the crypto market. You advertise decentralized betting but when things don't go your way you freeze accounts and ban people. Housebets is not for the people it is a dictatorship and me and countless other people that you banned are not gonna just let this blow over. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, I'd like to light a fire 🔥 underneath their bums. These guys need to be accountable for their actions and unrestrict all the accounts they froze and allow withdraws. Its to bad that some people exploited this bug (even though as I do the math I quickly realize that the juice is not worth the squeeze). Alot of people myself included simply wagered with BTC and for that we got are accounts froze and banned. You need to make this right and really be objective about this.

according to a member who posted on this thread, it took them 5 hours to process the member's withdrawal, you see what it is to wait 5 hours for a withdrawal? and something very exaggerated, about VPN, I advise you to check it on their website:

https://www.housebets.io/docs/kyc

they are a casino with a much stricter than usual KYC policy so things like VPN will not be accepted at their casino, I hope you read their TOS well and don't use VPN. anyway, being that it's a casino that doesn't have fast withdrawals, it has this whole KYC policy, it has a high withdrawal fee, something like 12$, so I doubt there will be many players who play with little money using this casino, just think that if you play with 10$ then you won't be able to withdraw the 10$ because there is a 12$ withdrawal fee, if you have 10$ and you win and keep 10$, when you withdraw you will only see 8$ in your wallet, that's not It's fair

and that they boast to be the leading DeFi sportsbook & casino, having strict kyc requirements. that's a contradiction to what they want to promote here though.
anyway, if you will read their kyc terms, seems that they are quite strict on this facet. so much for the leading defi tag line. people should be cautious and read their terms because they may not be understanding what they are getting into.
by the way, if they will be strict to ask kyc from their fiat-based gamblers, they should start thinking of placing the gambling license logo on their landing page with appropriate link to validate its legitimacy.

Hi there,

Great website design and overall layout, I really love the shade of blue over the black background. UI looks very clean and modern.
The fact you even have Esports in the Sportsbook is a very great initiative. If you are planning to promote your platform in Esports community, you can hit me up.

I will be happy to partnership with your platform. Wink

Now, this disappoints me. It's a huge fee considering that not everyone gambles with hundreds or thousands of dollars. It might be better to use other crypto assets for transactions to save on network fees. I haven't tried this site yet, but on most gambling sites I've used, I usually transact using XRP and USDT (TRC20). That way, I won't worry too much about the fees, even if the gambling site adds a bit. But, there's no way I would pay a $12 USD equivalent network fee.
Although it is not the highest withdrawal fee, but $12 for withdrawal fee is still too much especially for those who want to withdraw less than a hundred buck. They are still new in the industry and I think they should offer something competitive/better to attract players out there. Other than that, they stated that all withdrawal should be checked first which means that they do not offer instant withdrawal. With high withdrawal fee and with manual withdrawal process that may take longer time, I dont think it is a good deal for players.
If my memory serves me correct, I think Nitrogen sports has a 0.005 BTC withdrawal fee and then there are that two site which I forgot their name who has a 0.03 BCT and 0.05 BTC fee. Crazy isn't it? But maybe they support altcoins and the withdrawal fee for them are small.

If you are a whale player and then you also win hundreds and thousands of BTC, I think you won't mind those withdrawal fees but it's definitely a no for an average gambler. I have no problems with manual withdrawals and many new sites do also start with this but a high withdrawal fee is really a pain in the pocket of us poor players. Again there might be altcoins but some of us are only using Bitcoin.
Even if i win thousands of btc, there is a chance I also spent thousands of btc before being able to win that amount, so with that in my mind, and being some one who is always conscious of how I am spending money, I still won't accept to pay 0.005 bitcoin as a withdrawal fee to any casino, what are you even saying? 0.005 btc at the current bitcoin price is about $135, that is three weeks of my signature earning(normal payment without the bonus) spent on just one bitcoin transaction, any casino requesting such amount for bitcoin withdrawal shows the casino is being managed by criminals, and I will never gamble on such a casino - this is one of the major reasons I always find out the withdrawal fee of any casino before engaging on gambling on that casino if I find the fees ok.

It's dope seeing the one-of-a-kind gems your platform's rockin', like them smart contracts. But yo, think about simplifying the sign-up process for peeps who ain't tight with wallets. Maybe toss in email or social media registration, ya know? Also, don't forget about the VPN crowd – make sure the site's all smooth for them too.

On the e-sports tip, you gotta add some crowd-pleasers like Dota 2 to the mix. And hey, I feel you on the "Leading Defi Sportsbook and Casino" thing, but maybe dial it back to "One of the leading" for some modesty points.

Anyways, big ups on joining the forum! You've already scored some solid feedback, and I can't wait to dive into your project. That airdrop's got me curious, might just join the party soon.

I think the same, also if you have everything in this way I don't think there is a problem with the use of VPN, now, taking all this into consideration, there is something to come up with, if the Airdrops are like the Airdrops of now that Require a large Investment and what is earned is very little compared to what people expect, I say this because I know that Airdrops went out of fashion, it was very good during its good times, where many took advantage of Airdrops without making any investment, and I know that the concept from here it is not that, but also the Conditions of an Airdrop should not be so radical and that everything can have a degree of Participation.

Withdrawals are accessible on the Polygon Network & we don't control the fees on BTC (3rd Party), but we will investigate reducing these further as they are too high. We can only apologise about any withdrawal issues, this was due to the site being down as our Airdrop caused a surge in traffic. All withdrawals are now instant on Polygon, but may take a little more time on BTC. Thank you all for the feedback, we will also be adding more e-sports markets!

they have a very weird and dangerous KYC policy in my opinion, also that high withdrawal fee is meaningless, at least currently bitcoin and altcoins don't have network fees more than 10$ so why would a casino charge 12$ of fee withdrawal? I can only think that this is a way for the casino to keep people's money, the most ridiculous and sad thing about it all is that they know that it is unlikely that people will deposit in their casino and leave with a profit, it is no secret to anyone that games Gambling isn't profitable for gamblers, but when you're dealing with greedy casino owners then you see these kinds of things as high withdrawal rates,, oh, weird, oh, weirder. I honestly think people should be very careful with casinos with these behaviors

Hello and welcome to the forum,

The sites are different, I like what they do with smart contracts, I would also like to know if they can devise other ways to login and register, there are people who do not know very well about wallets or how to get one, most make registrations that They are easy with emails or social networks, it would be great if they could do it, on the other hand, I don't know if over time it can lend itself to the complete decentralization of the casino without charging for each action, I understand that casinos of this style charge for each movement.

It is outrageous for such a withdrawal fee compared to others. This are the little things thy fail to look into. Now looking at the comparative advantage of the casinos over your casino in terms of withdrawal fee paid for is it not dissappointing to know your fee is on the high side. How do you expect me to see this and get engaged with your casino when there are casinos out there that are much cheaper to withdraw than yours.

I would advise this issue us looked into so as to come to a resolve with immediate effect because nobody would want to deal if they discovered that the fee is on the high side. They would switch over as no one wants to waste their time anymore for casinos not to talk of the experience gamblers have had with casinos when it comes to withdrawal and they see this, they would leave and get to the next available casino.

that's a big fee in my opinion if withdrawing BTC there is a transaction fee of that much even if following bitcoin network transaction fees it doesn't seem to cost that amount, on other casino sites it's even much cheaper not more than 10k satoshi, but the only way maybe open another blockchain who use a network with lower transaction fees because it will help small gamblers play there too, not just big gamblers.

I haven't tried playing on this site yet, but I monitor the development of this site first and see the reputation of the feedback from the community, if everything is good and good then I will be happy to play on this site too, btw there is an airdrop there, can the airdrop token also be used to gamble here? .

Will you ever KYC a person where it's obvious he isn't money laundering? Will the normal player be able to play without KYC?
KYC requirements are not a matter of whether a person is committing money laundering or not, but because of the requirements requested by the casino because of a license that is used or it could be to give the casino certainty when someone makes a large withdrawal to avoid gamblers who use the casino to launder money.

AFAIK, KYC was created to fight illegal transactions (of which, Money Laundering is an example). Another reason is to fight against terrorism funding.
Yes, indeed KYC is applied to fight illegal transactions such as money laundering carried out by irresponsible persons such as corruptors and other criminals who are involved in embezzling large amounts of money.
Moreover, if the casino is actually used by irresponsible people to launder money, then indirectly the casino can also be dragged into the case.
This is why casinos enforce KYC and we also have to accept or understand the casino's policy on KYC.
I did not know that one of the reasons for money laundering is to finance terrorism because from experience I know money laundering is done so they can get rid of evidence of crimes committed when corruption or embezzlement of funds.

Actual BTCitcoin network fees is way less than a dollar but this is too much.

The site looks offline for me, the following msg is posted in the website.

Looks like our website got a little too popular for its own good! We're currently sprucing up our infrastructure to handle the all the traffic caused by our Air Drop. We'll be back in action in just one hour!

Edit: Site is back to normal.
