Topic: How A Translator Using GOOGLE TRANSLATE Was Able To Cheat & Got Away With It (Read 234 times)

My English is not good so I did not participate in the translation campaign. That guy was obviously cheating. Unfair for those who have to translate manually

With this report it will be a punishment for anyone who tries to cheat and steal. may everyone see this and every impostor deserves a penalty, but I have not seen him get a red trust.

hard to find a decent translator these days... most of forum translators would probably do a worse job than gogle translate.

OMG. how can he do it? although the campaign doesn't matter with this translation, it bothers us as the translator who spends a long time to translate it myself. thanks for sharing so the managers can more carefully detect the sheaters.

Managers should check these things. They can promote their project that cheap.
I hope to see fewer cheaters in the future, it's bad for the crypto.

well,if he has been paid already for work done there will be nothing the project team or bounty campaign managers can do about it except to report him to moderators on this forum to give him negative trust.In any case,if the translations were able to get to the appropriate audience without causing any confusion,then im sure they wont really mind.

You can actually move this topic into reputations board.You can see it upper left you would able to see that move topic word.

Nice catch here which these cheaters cant really be avoided as long they can able to earn tokens with translations campaigns they would do all sorts of cheating exclusion to those who are legit translators in the market.He wont really post up on Malay local board because he would really be busted up directly and he wont able to do his plans further more.

Thanks for the advice.  I reported him (or her) to the bounty managers and posted on their bounty threads so that it can hopefully deter future cheaters.

Exactly, I don't think it's fair to other people who spent days and night translating properly whereas this person spent maybe a few hours and getting the money that he didn't deserve.  I might be new here but I feel that BCT is a good community with lots of honest members who like to help one another.  Hopefully no one else would follow in his footsteps.

I just did, on a couple of the bounty threads for the ICOs that are still ongoing.  Some of them already ended so I'm not sure if it would do any good to PM the Bounty managers the ICOs that's already ended and bounties distributed.

You have a proof. Why you don't write managers of these campaigns?

Cheating does not just happen. There are many factors and triggers for someone to cheat. This is a lesson for others.

 I wish moderator or DT can see this .this member deserve to be tagged or ban , you can also report him to bounty manager  to which  campaign he joined and provide proof that he use google translate . If its proven he will not recieve any payment.

I'm writing to expose and individual who participated in several ICO translations was able to cheat by using Google Translator and got away with it.  First, let me expose this fraudster, then I will present you the evidence and how he managed not to get caught and got away with possibly lots of tokens earned from the bounty campaigns:

Evidently, IAMCOUZ has been translating several ICOs into Malay & Chinese languages, some of these ICOs are: Utemis, OTTPAY, Pitch, DragonCoin, Lunes, SGPay, Streamity, SVProof, World Wi-Fi, IQeon & Experty.  

He has been using Google translate, word by word and I will present you the evidence below.  There is no need for you to understand Malay language, all you need to do is compare the words! 100% google translate.  Google translate is only accurate to a certain degree, but not exactly word by word.

How did he do it and not get caught?  Well, for most of the Malay language translation, he posted the translation in the English language ANN Thread, not the local Malaysian Language board.  He also posted some of the Malay Language translation in the Indonesian thread.  Had he posted the translation in the MALAYSIAN thread, he would've been caught a long time ago.

I guess at the end, doesn't matter how smart the person is, he/she always get caught.  Hopefully he'll get banned from all translation bounty campaigns.
P/S: I do not know if the Chinese translations were using Google translator as well.  I made made the case for the MALAY version only because I am Malaysian!  If he is a Malaysian, I am very ashamed of him.
