I bought the dip so many times I became the dip, put all my life savings snd everything to buy this dip. Currently lying on a bench and thinking of selling it to buy more dip cos it looks like we might be heading for another dip, Bitcoin possibly dropping to 47K, and you know how alts tend to follow. It's tough watching your portfolio shrink when you don't have spare cash to buy the dip.

The way I view your story seems that you are geared to make it quickly in cryptocurrency. If not, why would you invest your life savings in cryptocurrency when you know that anything can happen due to cryptocurrency nature of volatility? In fact, you don’t even invest in Bitcoin but are fully invested in altcoins. I don't really understand your level of knowledge about cryptocurrency, but honestly, you have made a very wrong decision by investing all your life savings in the crypto industry. The truth is that even if Bitcoin does not later dip, there is a probability that some altcoin prices can dip. It is also possible that some prices can increase, but the chances of some altcoin prices coming down are always higher.

I've been thinking about the long game. When this bull run finally hits (2024? 2025?), I'm definitely treating myself to a nice vacation. Been dreaming about Paris, actually. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, some good wine... sounds perfect after all this market craziness fr.

How sure are you that when the bull run starts, the coins you invest in will do so well? When you are in the cryptocurrency industry, especially when you invest in altcoins, always limit your expectations. Altcoins seem like a game of risk; anything can happen. So, I advise you not to put yourself in higher expectations, so that if it doesn’t go as you want, you won’t be too worried.

The cryptocurrency market is something else that one have to invest on any dip point, because know one can give exactly dip amount of Bitcoin in the means of bear market, which every crypto investors, companies, institution's are expecting Bull Run market at any moment base on Bitcoin history session after Bitcoin halving next is Bull Run and normally occurs every four years. Hence buying in the dip is lucky, because the next dip no one else can tell and the only principle to apply, hence you have bought Bitcoin or any other alt-coins, have the patience to hold for a long term.
that's what many investors do, they always wait for a decline to occur and now is not the right time to buy bitcoin because the price is still high because the halving that is happening is still ongoing even though at this time there has been a decline in every coin but we have to keep waiting until the time comes. which is right, and as you said we have to be patient in waiting until the price increase occurs again and usually every 4 years as has been going on, so we need patience in investing if we want to get big profits.
That "patience" isn't something a lot of people have, and that's why we are facing these issues, I think it should be noted that we are going to end up with a different result if we rush, so we need to advice everyone to be careful about their situation, it would be a lot better if they all wait.

Plus, if people do not rush, then we are going to make money as well because that means if they do not sell then the price won't go down too much. All in all, rewards will come and we just need to wait for bull run to happen. It hasn't happened yet, and we are not at peak yet, I know that, but remember in 2024 we broke over ATH, so not like we can't go up, we have seen it go up and I think it will keep on going higher eventually once again.

Buying the dip when you’ve not yet reach your portfolio target is always exciting to do. Seeing the market getting dipper than what you initially started saving in your portfolio with is always appealing when you’re yet to reach your targeted portfolio amount. This does not imply that you should go all in with your money and not have a bed to sleep on, lol😆. The market is fun to buy when everything is going in your assumed direction and making you see your portfolio grow big when you don’t have to spend plenty of money you’ve imagined you’ll spend to make your portfolio reach that extent. DCA will always go justice to this, but always have spare money to use and not get too excited with the market positivity towards you and forget to save for your emergency needs.

I am just hoping that eventually I will make some good enough money that I won't have to deal with anything like debt again, that's all I want. I have a good enough income, if I have zero debt, like no loan debt, no credit card debt, nothing at all, then I will be able to do very well, there is nothing wrong with my salary, if I keep all of my salary at the start of the month and pay no debt, then I will live a rich life. It is getting there, but a good increase would help me too.

I would also love to have some saved aside, not for investment, I want my income and my investment, but I also want to have some cash saved aside, that way I will be able to invest that or use that whenever I want to, it is money that is ready to do something with.
If the salary is good and there is no need to give any kind of loan, then at the end of the month a good amount of money can be saved and after some months of saving, we have a good amount of money. If you are thinking about investing in cryptocurrencies then my advice is never to invest the whole amount in it, invest only the amount that you don't need anytime soon because if we invest all our money in trading and we need it then the crypto market goes up and down and the market goes down we will lose our money if we take it out.

So, it's better to always diversify your portfolio and also make sure you are investing what you won't need very soon, and invest in different places such as cryptocurrencies, gold, real estate, etc.

Why do you have to invest all your life savings in crypto? And you are still planning on selling more of your properties just to invest in bitcoin. I don’t really like that idea. I do encourage people to invest in bitcoin, but I don’t encourage them to invest all their life savings in bitcoin or sell their properties to invest in bitcoin. After investing everything you have in bitcoin and selling some of your properties, what if there is an emergency and you are desperately in need of money, How will you be able to solve the problem that you are having at that moment? Are you going to sell the coins that you are planning to hold? I don’t really like the idea of investing everything in bitcoin.

You should just wait for the bull run to start first before you start planning yourself, it’s too early for that. Wait till all your investments go well before you start thinking about places where you will be visiting.

As for my plans when I sell my assets during the bull run, a portion of it will be going towards the payment of my debts. A portion of it will be going to our dream house, and I will be using a portion of it to re-invest when the bear market starts. I might spend some to buy things that I want to reward myself for being patient of holding those assets. Smiley
What you say is a real example of the actual and definite use of profits in accordance with your main objectives.
Because not everyone can do this, provide an allocation for some debts that you need to pay off, dream houses that you need to pay in installments and buy some items that you have included in your list of needs.

I also do so, not only will I return to the market, the profits I get are partly to meet the needs of life and some future plans.
Only a few percent will return to the market as a reserve for repurchases when the bear market comes back.

Well, we don't know what the future of Bitcoin can be so going all in and buy at one point can be a good thing for us especially when it goes up after you bought, or it can be a bad thing if it goes down even more. Anyway, most of the altcoins follow the movement of Bitcoin like what they always does. Bitcoin dropping to $47,000? I don't think there's any reason for Bitcoin going down below $50,000. Right now, the short term support of Bitcoin is at the $54,000, and I think it will hold that price, and will stay above it until the bull run starts.

Good for you that you already have plans for your profits that you will get when you sell all of your assets. For sure, there are many users here who might have the same plans as yours, or have a different plan.

Anyway, how are you all coping with the current market? Any fun plans for when we finally see some green? Always good to have something to look forward to during the rough patches.
Coping with the current market? I just don't want to update myself with what's happening on the market, but I'm just focusing on my strategy which is to DCA. As for my plans when I sell my assets during the bull run, a portion of it will be going towards the payment of my debts. There's no need for false alarm when your holding coins Dips and you don't have spare money to buy more and accumulate.
The native ethics of investing on cryptocurrency is to Invest with what's affordable to loose and keep holding on a run of making profits.
So never minds the dip but just keep holding as long you Invested on reputable coins which are good for long time holding and not one of the shitcoins that dumps following the downside of Crypto market going Dip in values.
My plans forthe bull run is to take my profits and diversify in other income generation. I have little expectations for enjoyments at the moment because the economy is being too tough to spending now and forgets tomorrow is another day.

First of all using all your life saving is not really the smart decision you have done. Since you are putting yourself on more worse situation considering that bitcoin volatility is so risky. I know you got caught up with the idea about chances to earn on bitcoin but that doesn't come always as easy as you think. If suddenly unexpected huge decline will came for sure you will be in panic then lose for that situation since your life saving is at stake.

So to avoid getting affected so much just invest the amount which you can afford to lose. So that there will be no tough feeling or stressful scene especially if you watch your portfolio shrinking. More better approach is to continue to accumulate if you are for long term then don't watch your portfolio while market is in bad shape.

For now my plan is to continue to accumulate and increase further more my portfolio since I'm saving for better future and possibly taking some good gains from bitcoin.

The real plan should be how long are you gonna hold even when bull run is over and what could the future of bitcoin after another more 2 to 3 having to come, talking about 12 years more to come in the market. If you can have a long term projection in the market then you wouldn't be bothered about immediate profits except you have just channeled your efforts only on the present rather than the future of market, yes it's true that most people are here for a purpose and when that purpose is achieved they don't mind or care about what a particular coin could give them for the long race. Lets take for instance those hodl bitcoin since from last 3 halving they knew that most coin has a great future that could bring a brighter amount to them today.

The moment when you’re expecting the market to go in your favour in a particular time you’ve anticipated for it to be so is very interesting. You first think about it, then assume all the good things that come with it when your vision becomes a reality. Since you’ve invested in bitcoin, you’re more closer to a realistic expectation than when invested in something else. The bull run will come and will put a lot of smiles on many faces. Expectations could be lower but at least you’ll not be the same as were you where when you started buying the dip. Don’t invest more than what you can’t afford to keep for the long term. You are not losing anything here with bitcoin, just don’t invest what you can’t afford to spare into an investment until it’s matured enough to be profitable.

It seems you might have invested what you couldn't afford to lose which is against the rule of the game. And also it seems you might have bought some kind of top, well I won't advise you to sell your sofa and invest. I hope you can hold amd everything turns good for you and incase of next time always prepare some USDT to buy dips when it happens.

For crypto users, the Bull Run is the moment they have been waiting for, especially since they have been holding certain coins for a long time, as well as for me personally, when the Bull Run arrives I sell my assets, and will buy them back when crypto prices fall again, Of course I will buy altcoins that have great potential, such as altcoins that are in the top 10 of CMC,

There's a saying that goes, "Don't choose comfort at the age of labour so that you won't labour at the age of comfort." The reason why I dropped that quote is because I am not yet at my youthful age, and if my crypto portfolio pays off, I will definitely give myself a good treat to also enjoy the money, but I don't have plans to travel outside the country. I don't need to go out of my country before I can catch fun; there are also other big cities in my country that I can just visit and see new things, but my major priority is to reinvest the money during the bear market and also invest in agriculture.

We observe that the market is sometimes positive and sometimes negative. During the period when the market is positive, we have a chance to make a good amount of profit. But if we take small scale trading when the market is positive then we can make good amount of money from it. Again, even if the market is negative, there is also an opportunity for profit. For example, when the market came down, we invested in a certain coin with some amount of money and again the market came down and invested again.

Me think of buying a new car when the bull run hits and then sell at the top in 2025. We all know though that we can't time the market and we don't know when is the all time high, but still, as a investor, you have that feeling when we are going to reach the peak and try to sell. But still a long way to go, and it means we still have a lot of time to accumulate and continue to HODL and then finally we can buy everything we dream in this bull run.

when the bull run happened I thought I would sell it and invest the money, in other things where I think about making more progress in the future and that's for sure, because a bull run can be a profitable moment for crypto investors but it is important to always be careful and do research before make an investment and avoid simply investing in crypto with an amount of money that you are not prepared to lose.

For altcoins, I already sold some a while back, I get tired of waiting but I'm looking to get back right now as the altcoin market is still in red. For Bitcoin, nah, I still hold some and will continue to accumulate thru DCA.
