It's very true that recently the online gambling industry has grown so large that it's even becoming more popular than some e-commerce sites and other especially since the evolution of crypto gambling where gamblers need not get a credit card in oder for them to make deposits and gamble at will, they now have to fund their wallets and that's all they are in.

I think the evolution of the online gambling industry is mostly seen on the crypto gambling as ever since it's inception people tend to have embraced it much more than the regular online gambling where they have to get their credit cards to gamble and the KYC on this sites are not at all tedious so it makes it very easy for gamblers to register and get started.

Your last point about gambling not having effect on people who are of the legal gambling age is definitely not very true as it really do have, but it is only permitted because it's believe that at such legal age the gambler is able to make conscious decisions for themselves as it regards participating in gambling and been responsible for any effect that comes after.

The online gambling was rooted to the huge bottom now a days as compared to the decade.Because we know gambling in the offline form alone was used by the gambler before a decade. Now the online gambling was used nearly 20x of the offline gambling. The horse race is not have a good root now because of the emerge of the online gambling over a decade. The crypto based online gambling was the biggest change over for the online gambling.Because the crypto will give huge after the winning from the gambling sites by just holding for certain period.

Gambling platforms have evolved tremendously and have now become a significant industry across the globe. Crypto gambling in particular has grown tremendously since its inception. Nowadays making a deposit on a crypto gambling platform is a very easy. A gambler can conduct his gambling without KYC. So , a gambler can easily gamble and It is not easy to identify a gambler in this case. No parent wants to find their child a gambler if he or she declares it by his or her oneself. Gambling has no effect if a gambler is not underage and addicted.

I think the main issue here is the lack of financial education, even if you were to receive the highest level of education that your country can offer, there is almost no emphasis on financial literacy, people do not know how the economy works, they have no idea how much they pay on interests on their mortgage or their credit cards, they do not keep a budget, they have no idea of how much money they are saving on their retirement accounts and so on, if people knew how to do all of that then even if they gambled the amount will be so small that it will not be a problem for their finances.

Pointing it to good money management, it's important that people know how to budget their money. With that kind of mentality, you can gamble with full responsibility.

I mean, if you value your money and you know how to control your expenses, gambling might just be a small part
of your entertainment and maybe if you exceed it will be just a small portion and won't lead to any addiction problem
as you know how to value everything.

And even how big a gambling industry nowadays by sticking with the principles of taking care of your bankroll
the chance is slim to get addicted.
Exactly, but governments want the current status quo to continue and this is because everyone, except people in general of course, benefit from it, if people knew what they were doing with their money they will not waste it in shitcoins or bad stocks, they will not take risks like investing in a market they do not understand and they will not buy useless products they do not need, but since the consumption of those people is a great part of what drives the economy forward, if they were to teach people how to manage their money in a responsible way then the economy may collapse in a matter of weeks.

I think it's "too big", as in there are too many people who gamble that they shouldn't. When thinking about gambling we talk about things that we see here, but there are games on phones that people keep putting money into and try to gamble and end up losing at all times.

I do not think that it's going good right now, there are too many people gambling, people who do not have money as well, it's really turning into a lot worse situation and should be helped out. We need some sort of way to prevent this many people gambling because it hurts societies too badly, too many people end up not really doing a good job and they end up getting poorer and poorer because of it as well. Or we can do the liberal thing and let people do what they want.

It is very Interesting , in the country where I live I believe that the government wants that there is not so much progress nor that the people are very advanced in terms of it, this so that they have total control over the people, it is something a little Dirty on the part of the rulers , but really some do not care and accept things, so in this case the people who want to improve themselves, their only task is to read many books and learn on their own, which most of us have done, since education is in a very low level, and thus it is very difficult to have great Professionals , however, those who want to have an Education above average, there are still schools and ways to get educated by paying, which is more normal nowadays, But due to the increase in Enrollment , to have a good Place you have to look for it from one day to the next, this for children, now higher Education is now more Difficult for quality Professionals to emerge.

So when it came to Financial Education , and that it be high Enough, things tend to go in a Direction that could be taken as good when it comes to gambling in a casino, since you don't have a high financial education , you simply Now if you are not looking for options to make the money work, no, it is already known that someone who understands what this is like, when they are in a caisno, knows that there must be a balance available only to spend it, and there should not be any problem, because a No matter how Excited you are, but with a high Financial education you know how to handle yourself inside a casino, unless you are Completely drunk and don't know what you are doing, which can also happen and that way you can spend a lot of money , it is the way you I see that Things can be done, otherwise if the people are Careful and have good management and value of money things can turn out well , the Important thing here for me is that a person does not get carried Away by Impulses , that is something that Should be Considered always.

According to the articles shared, sports betting will have the highest market gain in the next few years.
What do you think?
it will depend on the trend of the sport itself because we have many types of sports. one of the most famous is football. This trend makes many people bet on their favorite team. well, this will continue to be profitable on a stable basis as long as soccer doesn't have problems. if it has a problem it will definitely affect its gambling industry as well. I'm sure as long as there are fans of sports betting it will always be profitable for those who win it.
He said sports betting so I assume any sports are included on it. I do agree on what he said because many people are into sports and they elevate their hobby by placing a bet on their favorite teams/players. The feeling is great when you can earn money out your hobby. What more is that sports betting are mostly based on our knowledge of the sport or the teams/players that are playing.

No wonder why many bettors prefer it than the casino games but the title of the thread says "online gambling" and casino games are still part of the online gambling right? They are huge then if combined with sports betting. Although it's also possible to combine sports betting, casino games and other forms of gambling outside or IRL but it's still/more easy to create a gambling site and new games online and people can find convenience with them especially now that we are in the era of portability.

While some public facilities might get a facelift, what's the real cost? Is the trade-off truly worth it?

Now, as for teenagers gambling, I'll give you that parental supervision is critical. But blaming only the environment or parents? That's a silly simplistic. It's a cocktail of societal pressures, peer influence, and the excitement of the game. As parents, I agree, one must guide their children. But, to assert that a little chat can magically steer them away from all wrong? It's naive. The world is not a controlled laboratory, and kids will be kids. The question is, how many will pay the price for those tax dollars?
We don't blame parents, but we have seen how parents nowadays are so busy with their work that their supervision of their children is reduced. We have also seen how children or teenagers live in social situations where they are closer to their friends than their parents or family, so many teenagers go down the wrong path. You can try to compare children/teenagers who often chat with their parents and children/teenagers who never chat with their parents. Surely you can see how these children/teenagers grow and develop from how they talk, behave, etc.

Indeed, children are still children. They are like white paper that is ready to receive various types of ink, even almost finished ink. And it is the parents who are obligated to inscribe more ink on their children so that they can develop well and teach them all the good things in living their lives.

The country's economy is unconcerned by the increasing popularity in gambling proportions. People prefer to be confronted with responsibilities that are pointed in their direction. Gambling is vast and extensive and a gambler cannot spend a day examining all of the knowledge and concepts of the world of gambling. Not all teenagers will cease gambling; some are willing to take the required risks before believing in them. Parents understand the risks associated with gambling because they are older and more experienced. The teenagers understand what they require and are more motivated to do anything they find enjoyable.
But at least the state can get a decent amount of additional tax money from the gambling business to provide a financial increase for the state. The development of the gambling business it will provide an opportunity for the state to build facilities for the public.

Meanwhile, teenagers do not stop gambling because of a lack of attention and supervision from their parents and it could also be because their environment is not supportive. And therefore, every parent must try to understand their children and always accompany them so they do not feel lonely. If parents can provide insight and understanding about good and bad things, their children will try to understand them and not do something that could harm them later.

The online gambling industry is a massive and thriving sector in the global market. While it's difficult to provide an exact size it’s estimated to be worth billions of dollars annually.

With the increasing popularity of online casinos, sportsbooks, poker rooms and other gambling platforms the industry has experienced significant growth. Things like technological advancements, mobile accessibility and regulatory changes have contributed to its expansion.

The industry's size and continued growth reflect the strong demand for online gambling entertainment worldwide.

I agree with this.

Internationally and locally speaking gambling has been evidently growing. The community of gamblers is becoming more massive each day because of the effective advertisements and campaigns done by different influencers and platforms. It's a good thing for the gambling community because the development is continuously expanding. However, it comes with consequences on the side of the bettors and players. Personally, I think that it should be mandatory to also include a warning in advertisements, not only the benefits so that people are going to be aware of both sides of it without being shocked about the nature of it in reality. After all, it's not always rainbow and sunshine in gambling world.

I confess that I am a little surprised by these statistics, they're impressive numbers!!!

As has already been said, I also believe that cryptocurrencies have facilitated access to online gambling, and I imagine that the trend will be to increase these numbers in accordance not only with the popularity of gambling, but also with payment methods and cryptocurrencies

With the development of the Internet and smartphones, the online gambling market in the world is growing stronger. This boom is due to the growing trend of digitalization and the loosening of regulations related to online gambling. Many countries have accepted the legalization of sports betting.
This development is so strong we can see that people will play it. Even all classes of society can easily access this gambling game.''I saw a child using a phone to gamble. Will this be a harmful effect worth reporting?''

Well, with cryptocurrencies, access to online gambling is eased. Previously you needed a credit card to gamble online and not everyone had the credit card / bank account. This automatically puts restrictions too but now anyone can access the gambling site and use crypto to gamble and even minors can gamble on platforms that do not ask for the KYC.

If a child is found betting on the mobile phone, we can only blame his parents for not keeping an eye on him and also giving him access to the money through which he places the bet.

Reason why better to take away those credit cards or any banks or money related to the children because we know how they really want to have money because they are still being dependent with their parents, also right now there's a lot of age or children restriction to their wifi, accounts, devices and etc to use to prevent those children have an access like this gambling accounts, so if you are aware use that. Today many parents keep their cards save to their devices and link to the platform so the children even just playing can buy those stuffs online.

The development of online gambling platforms has been highly recognized by several countries, even countries that do not prohibit the development of gambling have also recognized that gambling is a promising business and the income is very large, so to this day there are always gamblers from various countries, even though gambling is prohibited, but as you said, gambling online provides a place without having to fill out KYC so that no one is able to identify who the people are who gamble.
Yes, I admit that the existence of this feature without KYC can be misused by minors who want to try gambling and become addicted and gambling owners will not care about anyone who gambles, whether adults or minors, of course gambling already provides without KYC.
This development has both positives and negatives.

Children can understand the bad effects of gambling addiction by providing good supervision and explanations to their children. Children will also try to avoid gambling and will not want to try it because they see what happens to people who gamble frequently. They definitely won't want to experience the same thing, especially since their parents always remind them that gambling can negatively impact their future.

There may already be taxes applied on alcohol and tobacco and also taxes on gambling, especially in countries that allow gambling. And if taxes can be managed well, of course, it will help a country's economy so that its citizens can also feel the changes taking place in their country. When everything goes well, it will make businesses run well and grow again in the future. And we will also see even greater developments in the gambling business.

Yes, Parents should supervise their children closely. Parents need to have explicit knowledge to explain to their children. And ask schools and society to provide knowledge for children to understand the harmful effects of gambling addiction. As legalization gradually becomes more popular.
There should be a gambling tax similar to alcohol and tobacco taxes to reduce the number of players. The next thing to add is the need to issue a license or present documents to gamble. Similar to licensing weapons. We should pay more attention to this industry issue to strictly control it. This can be an evil that destroys all young people.

I think the legalization of gambling websites needs to be considered and implemented under a strict management system. After all, the more banned, the more players there are. Even children can play. By applying it to legal practice, we can manage children. If we cannot control them, children's consciousness cannot know the harmful effects of gambling addiction. I believe this will lead the younger generation to a dead end. Children will become addicted and lose their future. This is alarming when the gambling industry is so developed and legal management is so lax.
Through the history of the world if there was one thing that does not work to stop people from engaging in an activity is to ban it, and if anything this increases the desire people have of it as now it is even more attractive precisely because it is illegal, so if we want to avoid that minors gamble the best way to do so is by the implementation of regulations which legal casinos must follow, this way you get the best of both worlds, you reduce gambling on minors as much as possible, while at the same time you make an industry legal which generates enormous amounts of taxes.
I say one thing, the fact that a person of any age can enter a casino is not something that can be controlled nor is it the fault of an online casino, if a child enters a casino it is due to the carelessness of his parents, and that is not It is up to the casino, yes, I know that now many children still access the web and can do many things, but it is because of the freedoms that their parents allow them, because they are people who can and do other things and leave their children neglected, things that They are very bad and they should not be, personally I believe that a casino will never be responsible for that nor for those addicted to gambling, because as I have said in many threads, in a casino the first thing that should always be done is that the person is of age who enters, already at 18 years old he should be considered of legal age, now well if a child manages to circumvent this and makes a deposit and plays, then a parent or the person who is in charge of him is the one who has the Guilt for not supervising what the child does on a PC or a phone, and even less what he can do with his father or mother's credit card, to make a deposit.

Currently and for a long time there has been an absurd belief among some people to blame caisnos for forming addicted people, with vices and those things that always talk, but I don't see it that way, because whoever has the chance to enter and be an addict and only the person who plays, the casino does not force the person to make bets, the casino has its own rules and they will see if that person who enters complies with them or not, so it is very bad to focus on these things that sometimes society believes that They are right about it, and they are responsible for many things that happen in the world, just by doing or seeing and making people believe that what they say is correct.

So the most difficult thing to do here is for people to finally accept what the gambling industry is, it really is now in an announced stage and things can happen and continue to grow much more.

But if it is gambling, they should make strict regulations so underage children do not gamble easily. But in any case, parental supervision is necessary so that their children do not have the desire to gamble or are curious about what it feels like to gamble. Implementing this regulation must start in every casino and have an understanding given by each parent to their children so that in the future, their children will not gamble because they already know the impact of gambling on themselves and their lives. Even though this gambling business will get bigger in the future, children who have been given this understanding will still not try to enter the world of gambling because they already understand that gambling is not a place to make money and is only for entertainment.
