I believe Bitcoin and blockchain in general can give more transparency, democracy (and less corruption, less control) and eventual more benefits to our society.

I think that bitcoin made a great contribution to the future of mankind. It seems to me that in the near future the whole world will switch to digital currency, because the use of paper money has exhausted itself. So, in my opinion, it was the bitcoin that showed the direction in which humanity should develop.
this discussion is of course very interesting and increase knowledge and income, one of course bitcoin not just science but we also get a lot of results, with a fairly high price is very good for the development of bitcoin in the eyes of any country and of course can change the world

just to make 1 transaction costs those 'unbanked' a weeks wages and if your going to start talking about how LN will be the saviour it wont.
because it still needs a onchain tx (weeks wages) just to open a channel.
now if you want something world changing. that will screw the FIAT economy, here goes:
stop measuring bitcoin against USD
instead measure it against the cost of living index or more simply the price of bread
EG 10,000 loafs of bread
when watch the finex fiat exchange rate change while everyone realises if they converted their USD to a fiat of a country with cheap bread. to then buy btc, they can get more btc for their 'buck'
and that would change the finex world rates
