I am new to this forum. I don't know exactly what I'm running after. I am slowly learning how to work on it. But there is not much clear idea about how to work here. I think more time should be given. Can you help me in any way?

Since bitcointalk is a discussion forum, all you need to do is discuss. You can choose a topic you like and get involved in the discussion. Reading more both in forums and outside forums, from any point of view, discussing is a good thing and will increase our knowledge.

You're welcome to the forum, but I have a question for you: are you interested in learning about cryptocurrencies or are you just trying to make money? You sound as though you're eager to learn everything, including how to make money on the forum, so if you're here to do that, I doubt you'll grasp things as thoroughly as you should. This is the best place to learn everything there is to know about the forum. This is the beginner and help thread, where you can ask questions about anything you don't understand. However, before you can ask, you must be aware of a few rules. If you follow the rules, I think you'll learn a lot quickly and find the answers to some questions on your own without needing to ask.

Before engaging in any cryptocurrency-related activities or joining a forum campaign, there are a lot of things you should know. First, you should read and comprehend a post before responding. Second, anything you write on a forum should come from the heart; if you copy someone else's post, you risk losing your account and being unable to take action.

Determine your goals for joining here, then grow the motivation within yourself to pursue your goals. At first it was a little confusing, the same feeling was also experienced by the seniors who had previously joined here. Other users have directed you to several useful topics. Read all these topics to increase your insight. Never be embarrassed to ask questions and engage in discussions with seniors, they will help and guide you to become a better user than before.

On the contrary, you have already known what exactly you're "running after" on the very day you signed up on this forum. Apparently, you were looking for a way to earn. I don't know how it has been for you so far, but it must not be that great. Joining bounties doesn't make you earn much. What you get oftentimes is a few dollars, and sometimes even nothing. This was at least my experience.

While you can indeed earn here, it often requires a high rank, a good track record, and so on. Accomplish these first, if I were you. If you won't or you can't and you badly need to earn, you better look for job sites or develop your skills rather than do bounties. Most of the time, they aren't worth it.

OP, no one will look at your account if you are just a bounty participant, because what you are most concerned about is promoting some altcoins project. There is no really good contribution to the forum that should let anyone look at your post, but should you want to make yourself more relevant in the community, you can avoid visiting the bounty section and focus on other serious discussion boards like the economic, Bitcoin discussion, meta, dev, and tech boards, which will help you learn more about Bitcoin and the community and can also teach you how you can contribute to the community with any idea that others might learn from. If you are persistent and contribute positively, you could earn some merit that makes you rank up and join a signature campaign where you get paid some incentives, but my simple advice to you is to be very open to learning and not only about earning.

But there is not much clear idea about how to work here.

Did you join the forum to work? How did you know you could work on the forum here? Or did anyone tell you there was work here? You can meet the person who told you there is work here to guide you on how to work. And I don’t really know what kind of work you are looking for. If you want to participate in signature, you will have to rank up your account first, but from your post, I think it will be kind of difficult for you to rank up your account.

If you can’t make any impact or contribution to the forum, then you can’t rank your forum account up. But if you have any skills, then you can go to the service board and create threads about the service you are offering, or you can also participate in bounty campaigns, which is just a waste of time.

I think more time should be given. Can you help me in any way?

Which way do you want us to help you? You have to be specific about anything you want, you can’t just visit the forum and ask forum members to help you, at least you will say what you really want and how you want the forum members to help you.

I am new to this forum.  […]

Seems like you’ve finally figured out that you’ve been wasting your time in the bounty section and that they are lots of information you’re missing out on… but now that you’ve asked let’s start from the basics.

He's lucky he finally realized this early that doing bounty in the altcoin section is not profitable anymore, totally waste of time, you seldom see a good project to promote it's totally a waste of time, I have seen other bounty hunters doing this for over years and they remained newbies until, not taking the time to navigate on other sections of this forum, and participate on the discussion.
Anyway, it's good that you changed your direction just remain on this section until you've learned a lot about the basic rules and some tips on how to be a good forum member I'm sure you will discover a lot of great things, that you missed when you are just active in one section of this forum.

when you say "how to work here" I assume your goal is to be able to join a signature campaign, right? if it is, how about start joining discussions or reading them? From what I see on your post history, your main focus is joining bounty campaigns. if you have skills that can offer, you can open a service here on the forum where you offer your skills and get paid in Bitcoin, I've seen forum members do this and get paid in Bitcoin for their work.

I checked your profile after reading some posts and it looks like you are here to make some money and if that's the case then there is no shame in doing that even the administrators of this forum admire that. But you have to be real and should not promote or support fake or scam platforms or websites. On observing your posts I can say you are not new and you know this forum's rules very well.

For a moment let's agree that you are new but you are learning so fast which raised concerns I am not trying to accuse you of someone pretending to be a newbie here, it's just you learned so many things in less time. I think if you go at this pace then you can find something to earn.

If you have some special kind of skills that you think can be of some use to others on this forum then you can create your service topic in the service section, or you can rank to join the signature or Review campaigns. At the current moment you can take part in prize prediction contests, and other than this there are Avatar contests also organized. You can earn good money from them.

This forum is like any other forum but mainly for cryptocurrency, you will not get any details or information about any other field like cars, medicine, weapons, etc. etc. they have different forums, and this forum Bitcointalk as the name suggested was made for BTC first as it was named as Bitcoin.org at first and then rebranded to BTT. Which I think was a good step, anyway, if you are new here then you might find it difficult to settle for some time.

I will say, don't get confused, try to surf as much as you can explore new sections, and read the rules which are pinned by the moderators on top so they can't be ignored and after reading those rules try to read other's posts before making your but I can assume you already have the knowledge of how things generally go like if you need help make a topic in help section which you did here very well, so from this post of yours I can say you will learn things very quickly just spend some time here. And if you are trying to find work here then you should have some skill first if you haven't any then you can join bounties, signatures (which need proper requirements like ranks and merits, etc.), and review campaigns, etc.

The OP definitely became a member of the forum because someone told him that he could work here, and when you do something and don't earn anything, it's quite logical to ask yourself "what exactly am I doing here?"

In cases like this, any help is welcome, but I wonder if the OP can even understand the concept of a forum as a place for discussion and exchange of ideas and opinions with the additional possibility of earning something along the way. He is not the first nor the last to fall into this kind of trap and he can definitely get out of it if he wants to - he just needs to understand that he should not waste time on things where he will not learn anything, let alone earn.

Does this sound like a newbie? Another “fictional” manager who doesn’t know how to start getting some pennies as soon as possible?

OP, your local board, which never got around to the pumpkin carving competition, will now be able to explain to you what and how to do correctly and what not to do. Creating topics “about nothing” also does not force us to form an opinion about you as a person striving for knowledge.

The work part means someone told you that you can promote projects and make money, but it's not that straight up, you have to get to the level before you can start promoting projects, and sorry to say, some are not even worth your time, you are welcome to the forum though, relax and read the rules and regulation of this forum.

This is where it all lies... Majority are being referred to this forum without proper information, explanation and guidance. Most a time, a bounty participant introduced them to the forum and are here with the believe that they are here to work. It's obvious you can not give what you don't have; most of these bounty participants don't know any other thing in this forum other than bounty participation. You know bounty is not always available and that might be the reason why the newbies feel stranded sometimes especially if they joined the forum when bounty are scarce.

This forum is a place for discussions about Bitcoin and there is also an altcoin board. Maybe as @NotATether said, the job you mean is bounties. Ask what you should do to the person who motivated you to register an account.

You have made 42 posts in the bounties section since your account was registered on October 27 and your first post was PROOF OF REGISTRATION.
Or it wouldn't be wrong if we asked you why you are here.
By the way, if you feel that this topic is considered useless, under your computer or laptop screen there is a menu that says lock topic. Just press that instead of deleting it.

OP, your purpose of being here should be your utmost concern, with the little knowledge I have here, everyone here has a goal that they are chasing, some people have achieved their own while others are still in the race, what you need here is to learn and abide by the rules of this forum, set your goal and go after it, but first of all there are so many things to learn here in this forum apart from bitcoin and alternative cryptocurrency you can learn how to interact with people in real life and also accommodating constructive criticism and making it a learning means, there are many board here that you may like so read through and feel free to ask a question if the need arise, I hope to see you at the top soon.

So why are you in this forum in the first place? If you have no reason for this then you are better off moving away from this forum, if you have a reason for been here and you already know how to create a topic I don't think there is much to learn, you can start telling us what brings you on here.

Must be crypto related reason, maybe you are trying to learn something? Share your reason why you are here in the first place, people don't just get stranded on here without a reason, even if you mistakenly come across the forum you still have to create an account before you can create topic.

The work part means someone told you that you can promote projects and make money, but it's not that straight up, you have to get to the level before you can start promoting projects, and sorry to say, some are not even worth your time, you are welcome to the forum though, relax and read the rules and regulation of this forum.

This is not a work station, try to understand and know this fact, this is bitcointalk, where all matters that concerns bitcoin were officially announced or discussed here, this is a learning ground, that you can choose to stay and experience the kind of growth you wanted with your adoption of bitcoin as a financial means of making payments, your being here also may have other opportunities it can served to you because you can connect to others around the world, discuss and share ideas and do many other benefits this forum may server you.

Bounty campaigns are over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

It is probably the place the people who told you about "work" here were directing you to.

Although if you are asking for help related for bounty advice, this is not the correct board to do it since we don't browse that section of the board. You should look in Altcoin Discussion instead.

All this under the assumption that this is not another in a series of alt accounts that asks a question, and then gives answers to itself in the hope that it will collect some merits.

42 days are enough to give a general impression of the forum. You need to avoid fraud, plagiarism, publishing using AI, trolling, and not be shy about any question, even if it is simple. However, you must at least conduct a Google search before asking because most of the questions come to your mind. It's on the forum and a simple Google search will teach you 90% of the things you need to learn.
