we can use blockchain in terms of payment.. we can implement the blockchain in an aim to remove the cash-based or credit card payments, in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and stimulates them to offer contactless solutions.
Blockchain is very helpful today and will certainly continue to grow. But in other cases there are also groups that use it for crime and money laundering which will not be easy to trace.
But the point is how it can help during the pandemic not what are the things that can be used to harm others or for illegal purposes.It ishelping WHO and UN in data collection from all across the world. Corona is a threat but there is decline in new infections in most countries now and only few countries are there which take is as a threat so all good.
Are you sure that they have said that blockchain is what they're using in decreasing the threat of corona virus? it's more of medical not technological.

that is actually a good example on how blockchain technology can help in the transparency of releasing funds to people. however, up until now, governments are not ready to accommodate this technology when it comes to their business. i guess they will delay and delay or oppose this kind of system later on. because they can't cheat anymore with the funds. and most of them are afraid of transparency.

Very possible, but we should also the dark sides of it, for sure there are lot of people out there that will use blockchain in illegal or wrongdoings like frauds, scams, etc. But I think this is normal, it will be depends on the person on how they will use everything, especially this blockchain which is more advance technology and kinda new for some people who not really into technology.(...)

We are going digital there is no doubt about it but I doubt we are going to see cryptocurrencies being in the middle of this as governments want to have complete control of the economy, if you think about this it makes sense from their perspective, after all if they can control your money then they can control you very effectively and they are going to be opposed to anything that offers decentralization, however once their system collapses that could open the path for cryptocurrencies to take over. when you speak of crime you have to keep many things in mind. As things move digitally as they already are blockchain will become a savior for many people. I am not really sure how it would deter crime since crime is not dependent on having a blockchain but it will definitely help digital life become little more safer.
