The way it see it is that you can increase your rank simply by being active in recent discussions. Post often and be ready always to reply to a participant in the post or discussion .In other words BEING ACTIVE and inavoidably the rank will rise Smiley

I've read posts and all I saw is to stay active. Is there any other ways to increase rank? And also, how can i earn with low rank?
The only remedy i see in this aspect of increment of rank is base on your performance, which i can say is correlated with your activeness and consciousness for the development of the community, the only way out to earn Merit is base on your own personal method of creativity you derived that will enhance a benefit or betterment to another person or the forum entirely, it's very obvious that you can be here for period of time without been serious or carry out a research that will inspire people of the community to award you profitable remark for years, so from my own views what causes rapid growth of any user is it's engagement.

I wonder how many tips will be given to an account that has one message in its history? The quote clearly shows that the topic was created two years ago.
Do any of the local advisors read the previous posts?

To achieve Jr. Member rank is easy, you'll only need 1 merit and 30 activity and for you to become a member, you'll need 10 merits and 60 activity. To get merits is very challenging. I also find it hard but i always do my best. You also need to keep this in mind NEVER BEG FOR MERITS to other users as it will get you Red trust and it is bad for your image and could make it harder for you to get accepted when you apply campaigns.
No rules stated that as I quoted below the rules only started no begging (,I think it was talking about begging people for money and not merit) There are threads where people drop their contributions asking to be merited, and there are no rules against it; if you have a nice post, you may PM a merit source and not get red-tagged.

No begging
Yes, you are certainly right about that. However what i meant about begging merits is that it should never be done often because if you beg often some users whom you beg for might be annoyed and they'll give you red trust especially when you beg for merits when you post low quality posts. Not all seniors are like that but some are. I mean nothing's bad about begging merits it's just for me as a newbie being careful is what matters the most.

The answer is quite simple but it's hard to achieved it. Getting merits from other users is the only way to increased your rank. You will need a lot of patience and hardwork to be able to do so. You can make your own thread or post in a thread with a good quality post that serves useful information for the others.

Is it wrong to thank somebody for a good information and start somewhere and talk to people so you can ask for help one day?
If so, tell moderators to ban me Wink
You are welcome and have a nice day
You dug out and bumped a 3 years old dead topic only to say just "thank you"? I'm not sure you read the rules about posting, this is obviously a low post and it's unlawful to bump a thread with a low post.

This is what you need

Now tell me if you think any of these are alt accounts or not.  OP started this thread on September 3rd, a month ago, and he's only posted once and it's a question about how to increase his rank.  You'd think that a person concerned with that would, oh, I don't know, start posting regularly?  Especially since that was suggested to him.

This is an alt account farm in the making; that's the way I see it.

This is the most common necroposting. The topic was not created 3 months ago, but two years ago Smiley. And it is not clear where today's newcomer dug it up.

There are not that many, but to mention those that I recall:

a) Signature space or features increase with rank:

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

b) Full Members and above may wear an avatar.

c) Some signature campaigns set a minimum rank to participate, and campaign rewards are nearly always larger based on rank.

This is one of the problems when you are late coming in the forum and you have nothing to offer to the community, but you have to dig dip you need to acquire something you have that you can give to the community to be able to warrant a merit, or you can give a very good advice to people when they are asking something that you know, not only the one asking you will give you a merit but other members as well.

Length of post isn't really relevant when it comes to deciding whether or not a post contributes to the discussion/if it is useful, or reporters/moderators deciding if a post should be reported or deleted. A post of a single word might be perfectly acceptable if it is answering a direction question, and conversely there are some users who post entire pages of text which are rambling, incoherent, and not worth reading. Indeed, if you are writing a post and the whole time thinking "How can I make this post longer?" as opposed to "How can I get my point across?", chances are you will end up rambling, going off topic, or repeating yourself, all of which makes your post more likely to be deleted, not less. Try to say what you need to say as succinctly as possible.

What's more important than post length is being on topic, saying something which contributes to the discussion, and not just repeating or rehashing what other people have already said (so read an entire thread, don't just immediately respond to the first post).

Staying active is not enough to increase your rank. You should contribute by quality post and on order to do that you need to research. There’s a lot of thread already, check Beginners Help  where you can find the answer. Keep on reading and understand bitcoin more to increase yout rank

Do something that will benefit for the Bitcointalk community. Help other members with informative posts. No spam can be posted.Merit earn is not an easy thing to do, no one will give you merit if  your post isn’t helpful.

First thing you should do is you have to have a mentality not to post non-informative things or shitposts and never spam. When you for example translate something or share something interesting, community always rewards you. Do not just post something as answer and wait for merit.

Here the only way you can increase your rank is to contribute to the community with news, alerts, experiences, insights, etc.Besides, don't spam and scam, this will cause you to have negative beliefs. Good luck.
